Question Delivery time to the uk - Nubia Red Magic 7 Pro

Hi can someone advise how long it takes for orders made on the red magic website to be, processed, shipped and received in the uk?
There's no option to expedite shipping and I'm anxious it could take a while.
I'd be grateful if someone could describe their experience, shopping direct from red magic.

I sent a postal order to buy a PDA case on the third of jan>
Date 23 January 2006
Re: Cancellation of contract/complaint
On 03/01/2006, I ordered a
1 x O2 XDA Mini & MDA Compact Krusell Premium Leather Flip Case Product reference: 5248
From you, at a cost of 16.95 Inc postage
Shipping Method: Royal Mail Special Delivery
Guaranteed next working day by 1PM for orders received before 4pm
Shipping Cost: 5.00 GBP
Order total is 16.95 GBP
So I sent two postal orders via a value of 17:00gbp
The payment was made via mail order and sent recorded delivery,
Arriving and signed for on the 5th of January 2006,
Postal order 0738 354158 & 2398 836249 sent via recoded delivery
no DK 4124 4527 7GB
With the payment I enclosed a letter giving full product description with your product reference code and delivery/mailing address
As per your site’s guide I expected delivery within 2-3 working days,
3/01/2006 Ordered sent
5/01/2006 payment arrived and signed for at Mobile fun
8/01/2006 email
I emailed upon the 8th asking for an expected delivery date, I got no reply
11/01/2006 telephone call
I called upon the 11th and spoke to Tim or tom,
Who told me that definitely the postal order had never arrived to your place of business?
I then paid 2pounds for the royal mail to inform me, that it had indeed arrived on the 5th and was signed for by Victoria carling or curlan (they cud not make out the full lettering),
I called back to mobile fun speaking to ibby and asked if that was indeed a member of staff,
Which they assured me it was, suddenly the signature for delivery was found
But they had lost the postal orders,
I asked to speak to someone in authority and was put thru to Scott,
He then said he will sort the issue, and if the postal orders were not found he would send the goods as I had proof of delivery.
16/01/2006 telephone call
I spoke to ibby, who was unable to find me on the system at all,
I recalled and spoke to dean finally a polite and helpful person
He said sorry for all the treatment and assured me it would arrive on the 19th at the latest,
after a long call it was agreed that they would use someone else’s postal orders they had found to sort my order(seems they just have lost or misplaced stuff laying around eh) setting up a new order for the same goods with this refence number MF748648 and a follow up email to confirm
23/01/2006 telephone call
I had received no goods yet again; I called and spoke to Alan
Who then told me,
That you don’t have the goods in at all nor can you give me a date of stock arrival and that it was practice for staff to, inform customers that it will arrive shortly to avoid loosing the business by keeping a client in hope of a delivery.
Each time I have called mobile fun it’s been a 15-20 wait on the phone for an answer
Further more the staff doesn’t seem to have a clue how to process a postal order delivery,
At all times I was calm and very polite and offered any information that they needed, ypur company has given me the impression of total incompetence
And although the amount was a small fee, (thank god I wasn’t ordering my new .jasjar via your company, which iwas going to but not anymore),It was more the attitude and treatment I found bad,
I’ve never had to write before due to a customer service problem as im very laid back and realise things can happen
But after all this time and no goods & with such bad staff communication I feel ,if I was a manager and this is how things were run under my shift id be outraged, I would have offered an upgrade product in place for the time and hassle to keep customers happy and future business
However all I wish from your awful company is a full refund within
Next 7/14 days along with confirmation that the contract has been terminated.
My future pda and ipod needs will be meet with a capable company.
I will be shocked if I even get a reply.
If I don’t receive a refund within that time, I will be arriving in person it’s a small fee but that’s not the point, Also if I don’t receive a refund I will take legal action.
Bottom line is mobile fun cashed the postal orders and then left it as they were unable to supply the goods
A simple call or email on the 5th to say no stock available and offer a replacement product or refund that would have been fine.
I look forward to hearing from you on this matter
UPDATE:
STILL no sign of goods or refund or communication from yourself
12:55 2006-02-10, I called and spoke to Scott who put me on to manager, Alan Docherty.
His words were
“ive spoke to the accounts dept and they will 100% send out a refund on Monday (that being the 13th)and ill give you a ring then, if I don’t its cos im battered from the weekend,so just give me a call”
I suppose this kind of work ethic and attitude explains, why im getting such poor service.
In fact I think if I really pushed myself to give up and not bother in work, I may indeed be suitable for a position in your company. not sure about your working hours but very little seems to get done and the attitude is very laid back, but then again I actually like to take pride in my work and give a days work for a days wage.
Update: 2006-02-15
I had again left a reasonable time after the stated delivery, upon ringing yet again I was put thru to Mike,
Who was unable to tell me why I hadn’t received the refund but will look into the matter?
Yours sincerely,
[][]
if the money aint here by friday sod the amount by going down,i can describe how lax and off hand they are when i call, they almost laugh, they dont give a damn,
ok minor amount but youd think they would have some customer relations
imagine if that had been a 500 quid pda id ordered, man ill not trust these jokers again
seems im not alone
Not a good comapany I'm afraid mate
I ordered an unlock code for a tricky mobile once (I had been assured by everyone that it was not unlockable - but mobilefun offered a soloution )
The sent me a code - which was absolute rubbish - it was simply the shortcode for checking if there was an SP lock present
At the time the payment hadn't even been taken - so I sent them a mail telling them that the code was not even an unlock code so they had better not bill me
The following day , they took the money ! I mailed them about 6 times and then gave up (it was only £2.99 so I couldn't be bothered )
I have heard nothing but bad stuff about them

Cancel order from expansys?!

Hello
Well, i suspected that the releasedate would slip then the phone was launched so I waited until it was actually IN stock before I ordered the phone, that was 27 decembre. Unfortunatly it ran out of stock until they had handled my order. Since then the release has - as all know - sliped a few days many times. Now I really need the phone (because of the GPS) and mailed expansys twice about delivery date and they havent replied to any of the mails
The phone is in stock in several other shops here in Sweden now and expansys says 6 days on their site, witch i really dont believe any more....... I gave my credit card number to expansys. Anyone know hove expansys handles if you want to cancel the order? Im very affraid they will bill my card and send the phone anyways since they dont care to respond to mail and I have newer had any success on calling theire phone number. Some advice?
Right now Im really pissed of - I payd extra and choose a english phone just to get it quicker and today I could have had a swedish version - instead Im sitting with nothing.
Best regards
They're really simple to cancel - I've done it twice now! I first order on the UK site in November, then reordered on the Spanish site when they were cheaper (and apparently) quicker, and then finally bought it in a shop in Barcelona...
Both times I just clicked the " Si desea ver sus datos adicionales, o reportar un retraso de entrega por favor envíenos un correo electrónico indicando su número de pedido" on the tracking.aspx page (that's in Spanish - it's the "Click here if you want more information"... link, and sent them an email saying:
"I'd like to cancel this order, as I've bought the phone elsewhere". The order ID is automatically in the Subject line of the email. Both times I got a mail back within 10 minutes confirming the order was cancelled and updating the tracking page showed that too.
i am sorry, guy above me, but i have to disagree about how "easy" it is to cancel with Expansys....
I had to call them numerous times at the Swedish number,,, it connects to their French warehouse...
Expansys sucks they push the date without any forewarning..... they were happy to take my bank transfer and keep it for over a month before i went ballistic and called them like a thousand times to get the order cancelled and the money transferred back to my account.
I ended up buying one from Devicewire a few weeks back and have been happy with it in my hands since 3 days after I ordered it.
I called Expansys in CA last week and canceled my order. It was easy and fast. I don't want to spend 800$ CAD for an unfinished product
Thanks for the replies!
I have now canceled my order on expansys and ordered it from another shop, hopefully i can get it on monday or tuesday. In my case they havent billed my credit card yet. If they dont confirm the canceling on monday I think I will have spam them with mail - at least someone will hopefully reply - so they cant say I didnt cancel the order.
Best regards and thanks again for the moral support!
I have no problem with expansys. I have placed order in 11/07 and still waiting. the reason they change dates is 1 HTC have not officially released phone. 2 the date you see on the website is for second shipment they have sold out their first shipment with have not com. But i know that the first shipment have 6xx phones in it and they back odder over 700 phones. If you have placed order like me in 07 you are on the first shipment. And if you will only pay $654.xx instead of 740.00. And if I head any questions for them naiver head any problems with them.
Not exactly accurate
What your suggesting is not exactly accurate. Expansys US brought in a tiny shipment early on -- well under 100 phones. Since then, they have pushed their delivery date back many times -- now it's at the end of march.
HTC has officially released the phone -- just not to Expansys. Some US e-tailers are already on their 4th shipment of the product.
Expansys is the worst website I have used so far. See my email to them below, which by they have ignored, and simply asked me if I want to cancel my order!! I was waiting for over a month and in the past few weeks their website was showing expected delivery in 1-2 days while in fact the expected delivery was on the 18th of february!!
The worst thing about such cases is that there is no EU Wide consumer protection organisation and if you have a complain you need to file it at the country of the retailer. In this case they have multiple websites but in fact they are based in the UK. Anyway I have filed a complain to the Greek consumer protection organization about this. Hopefully they will do something about this. If I was another retailer competing with expansys I would sue them since they are doing false advertising, and gaining unfair advantage by not using correct delivery dates.
------
Dear Sirs,
Please note that I will file an official complain to the EU consumer commissioner for false advertising on your part.
You have been
a)changing the expected delivery date since the day the product was launched
b)charging your customers for the product when you did not even have it stock.
c) you have been aware of the change of the delivery date for some time now and you have not changed it on your website to reflect the actual date. In the process luring customers to keep ordering from your website
based on the prospect of getting the product in 1 or 2 days while in fact stock is expected on the 18th of feb.
Please refer to the following EU Press Release related to the above complains.
http://europa.eu/rapid/pressReleasesAction.do?reference=IP/07/1915&format=HTML&aged=0&language=EN
And a QA related to the press release

HTC Direct orders - anyone received?

Has anyone received their order from htcdirect? If so did you get any notification of shipment? My order appears to be stuck on "processing".
I think Inkino and HTC Direct are the same company.
I know Inkino received their Touch Pros today so you should receive it soon.
Both had stock yesturday. Mine was preordered and the statuschanged to processing late thisafternon. Wondered if they sent out a notification when it was shipped - not sure whether to take tomorrow off as the local sorting office is a pain here.

I can assure you Inkino had no stock until today at around 15.00/15.30 GMT.
Their store in Tottenham Court Road had stock this morning - but only 5 units, apparently.
Not sure who they went to, but I got one of the "second batch" when they arrived this afternoon at about 4pm. I could see two more units behind the counter when I left...
so.... an order that states pending means i should not waste a day off tomorrow? Can anyone that has received a pre order from htcdirect confirm whether they had an email stating dispatched ?
Payment was taken at 4pm today
I too have an outstanding order changed to 'Processing' today, which I hope to receive tomorrow.
Can I assume as this thread has gone quiet that all have received their units?
Thanks
Received Yesturday.
Thanks,
Got mine today .
Spoke with them and suggested they keep their customers better informed.
Not to resurrect a dead thread but my Raphael was ordered with them today (tue):
I originally ordered with mobilefun.co.uk but my bank decided (after assuring me it wouldnt happen) to not authorize my card, finally got through and sorted it with the bank and called mobilefun back. By the time I had sorted it out they had gone out of stock LOL!! cancelled it.
Went on HTCDirect and ordered it from them, called them up to just make sure it had gone through ok...they didnt know yet so took my mobile number and called me back around 10 minutes later assuring me it had gone through ok and should be with me tomorrow (wed).
The tracking system is a bit weird since you would think it was still being processed at thier end and that the device hasnt been despatched/shipped??
I will wait until i receive it to believe this next statement but.... Im sure it is on the way since they seemed real helpful over the phone. An email and status change to acknowledge it has shipped would be good though.
From experience, if they have told you they have sent it, then they have. Their tracking system seems to be a bit behind - my order was still saying "processing" on the day that i received it. All in all, the guys there were very helpful, so you have nothing to worry about. Enjoy your device tomorrow.......

Raphael vendor / Reseller Reviews.

There's a lot of different resellers about and equally many roumers of who's good and who's dodgy at the moment . So that we all know who's who out there, heres a little Thread with Vendor reviews.
If you have something positive or something negitive to say about a seller please say it here.
Also please rate your vendor XX out of 10, I might add a field to the vendor wiki.

I've always used Expansys / MobilePlanet. I'm USA so MobilePlanet.
There is some atrocious whining in their forums from - for want of a better term - EXTRAnoobs.
But in my dealings they are professional, rock solid and I've never had any problems.
Onthegosolutions
I have used Maobile Planet in the past and had no specific problems.
For some years not I have been using OntheGoSolutions and I have been pleased because I always know who I am speaking with. Seems to have very little turnover and they are small enough that I can communicate with one person. They are definitley not the cheapest but have at least twice in the past lowered a price for me when I pointed out an advertised lower price elsewhere.
I bought my Raphael online from Expansys Canada... All I can say is the transaction was very easy, and shipping was SUPER FAST!!!
Ordered it Friday afternoon (approx 3pm), after a small billing problem (I gave them a different phone number from the one on my Credit Card account), confirmed the order on Monday morning at 10am (they aren't opened on weekends), I had the device in my hands Tuesday just before noon...
All in all, besides the phone # problem, I'm very happy with the transaction. It was easy, smooth and fast...
Inkino UK
To all in London and southeast
Eugene at Inkino (I never knew I needed one), 48 Tottenham Court Road www.inkino.co.uk is a mine of information on all things HTC. They are one of the few, if only, HTC Ultimate Partners and it shows.
I have bought my Trinity and now Touch Pro from there.
Yes I could probably get a few pounds off here or there but the service and honest opinions I have had from Eugene and his collegues at the sister branch 9 Great Russell Street mean that I will simply not buy from elsewhere. If I have a problem I know I can call up or drop in and I will speak to someone who knows his products inside out and is a straightforward trader.
Pleasure to do business with.
I ordered mine from Expansys UK. I live in Cyprus and Expansys is propably the best choice. Although I should have used Expansys Cyprus, the UK site was 40 Euro cheaper so I went with them. The service is excellent! Prices are among the best in the market. (630 EURO inc. DHL shipping fees).
They support Paypal, which is a big plus in safety matters, and by using DHL you get your phone in record time.
All in all, i am a happy customer=p
I'm in the US and I bought mine from Clove. A tad more expensive, but I was having problems with Google Checkout (which Handtec uses for overseas orders). Clove was a little slow to receiving my order, but once they did they shipped it out within hours. DHL got it to me in 2 days, all the way from UK to California, and by 10am no less.
One thing about Clove (that I appreciated) is that they require you to confirm the order by calling your CC company and requesting the 6-digit charge authorization number for the charge. Maybe it's an extra hassle, but it's nice to know they're serious about your security.
I would order from Clove again, but of course now I have no money.
I'm in the US and purchased from Smart Mobile Gadgets. All was as they said, including Saturday delivery.
I ordered my TP from On the Go Solutions in July. They said they would call and make sure I still wanted it before they would ship. They also shipped the day the said they would, a month in advance. I am very satisfied with the way they do business.
This is a statement of one set of circumstances and does NOT impute or call into question the credibility or otherwise of this particular organization. There may be an explanation - but so far - my client has not received one.
A client of mine bought direct in a Buy It Now eBay auction from a company with a high level of positive feedback with thousands of positive transactions on eBay. Their public site is - Popular Electronics http://www.popularelect.com.
Approx 24 hours after buying eBay declared the auction NULL AND VOID and advised my client that they do not have to pay. eBay stated:
"As eBay removed the item, you are no longer obliged to send payment for it. Please don't send money or respond to any emails from the seller.
If you've sent payment but haven't received the item, please wait a reasonable period of time for delivery. If you don't receive the item, please contact us again by clicking "Contact Us" on any eBay Help page and selecting the following contact options:
Buying and Finding>Fraud and Payment Concerns for Buyers>Item Not Received or Item Not as Described (you paid)"
My client has called and emailed the company direct and not received any replies.
I've carefully reviewed the eBay email and header codes and believe the email is genuine and not a phish. All the auctions that for TouchPRo's that WERE on ebay from this company have disappeared at 9/3/2008 14:00 EDT.
I leave you to draw your own conclusions.
BEWARE OF THE TIGADUACELLULAR!!!

Has anyone actually baught anything from tigerCellular out there? If so let us know are they real or fake? thanks... im betting the latter but you never know
2call.nl 5/10
Got my TP from 2call.nl
Price without contract (as I use company sim) was good and delivery was very fast.
However, as my TP came with the know problems (GPS instable and hot, black paint falls off,...), I asked 2call within two weeks after pruchase to take my device back and replace it by a new one.
They refused.
As price and delivery is not the only thing I expect from a retailer of a some hundred euro device, I personally will not buy at 2call.nl again.

[Q] Amazon.co.uk delivery?

Anyone received the transformer and keyboard bundle from Amazon.co.uk?
There were rumors that they will receive stock this week, but no news since.
i ordered it 31 March and still waiting.....i hope this week they will receive stock.
I had a chat with an amazon.co.uk rep yesterday asking about an updated availability date, after telling him that ASUS UK announced last week a very large quantity coming soon to Amazon and Ebuyer. The rep said that in their system they still have an availability date of the 1st of June. He also mentioned that the date shown on their website is the only date that should be considered by customers and that they don't endorse any other availability date announced by anyone, anywhere else. So unfortunately we can't do anything else than wait... It's a real pity as Amazon is the only online retailer delivering outside of UK at reasonable prices (Micro Anvika only accepts bank transfers in GBP and charges a small fortune for the shipping).
I placed my order with Amazon recently enough (24/4) but when word was coming out that just about every other retailer had stock I sent an e-mail to Amazon last Fri asking if they had any update on their expected delivery date. I also mentioned in my mail that Asus UK had said that Amazon were due to receive a shipment last week. The response I got was non-committal to say the least. Like many others, Amazon is my only real option for delivery to Ireland. Their response is below:
"Dear Colm,
Thank you for contacting Amazon.co.uk.
Further to your email, I apologise for the inconvenience caused.
However, I have checked our website and found that the item "Asus EeePad Transformer TF101 10.1 inch Tablet PC (nVidia Tegra2 1GHz, 1Gb, 16Gb eMMC, WLAN, BT, Android 3.0) with docking station and keyboard"is listed on our website that it will be released on June 1, 2011.
While we are confident that copies will be made available, we cannot provide more precise information about the fulfilment of the order. In light of this uncertainty, we will understand if you would prefer to cancel your order. As of yet we have made no changes.
However, please be assured that Amazon.co.uk will certainly keep trying to obtain this item for you and try to source it from wherever possible.
You may cancel un-dispatched items through Your Account, located at the top of any page of our website. Simply click on the link, enter your e-mail address and password, and click "Cancel items or orders". Here, you will be able to view your order history and cancel an order for any item that has not yet entered the dispatch process.
You would then receive an e-mail from us to confirm the cancellation.
I once again appreciate your patience and understanding in this matter. We are sorry that we haven't met that goal in this case and hope that you will give us another opportunity to prove the quality of our service to you in the future.
We hope that we have been of assistance. Thank you for shopping at Amazon.co.uk.
Warmest regards,"
Copypasta bulk for the win.
I was planning to order my TF from Amazon, but I'm thinking I might just save myself the hasstle and pick one up in PC World, if they ever stock the 32GB version.
I am thinking that Amazon.co.uk have to ship on June 1st or else lose practically all preorders they have received.
If you are going to postpone a dispatch date by that long then you would want to be fairly certain that
you are going to do things right the second time.
2 more weeks and we should have it on our doorsteps or the sh*t hits the fan for Amazon.
Place your bets
I see that now the pad only version is in stock on amazon.co.uk
So if you want pad only... get it while it lasts
I need to wait a little longer for the bundle. I am dissapointed by amazon on this order.
