Black screen of death

i have bought a nexus 5 nearly a year now and it has worked perfectly the problem occurred two weeks ago it happened rarely when i unlock the phone it has a black screen so i had to force reboot with holding the power button , and it started to happen nearly every time i try to unlock it . i had stock android 4.4.4 then i tried at first factory reset and no positive results tried to go back to 4.4 same issue then a friend recommended cm 11 worked for nearly 24h perfectly :good: then the same thing happened :crying: , now im on Slimkat and the black screen appears nearly every time i unlock it now even if unlock the phone successfully with no problems the screen turns black at any time now (home screen apps phone calls ...) it even turns black in boot after the google logo appears (the time the rom logo appears) although it never ever turns black at boot loader or recovery mod . previous searchs i have made lead me that the problem is caused by turning auto-brightness on and/or animation scale must be more than 0.5 and they are not the cause in my case . i think this is a software problem and not a faulty hardware anyone can help me find a solution for this problem please

[Q] LG VS980 issue

Dear all,
Need help! I have bought my lg vs980 1 month ago and it was working fine until yesterday, I was transferring music from pc and after a while found out that my phone screen went black and unresponsive, however I still can see the task bar in the top and a buttons line in the bottom. Tried to restart by pressing and holding power button for 8sec. but again it boots normally and after ~ 15sec goes black or freeze (if I managed to open smthing ) and unresponsive. Also tried to do the same things without sim card, same problem. Please help??
Phone is completely stock, unrooted.
Using it in Global mode.

[HELP] Phone recognises touches but screen unresponsive (Works in safe mode)

I have show touches on so I can see that the screen recognises the input but the phone won't correspond with what I'm telling it to do. Even when using a mouse via USB debugging.
Every time upon restart, it works properly for a minute or so, then the navbar & statusbar dissapear, screen fades to black and locks. When I press the power button, it shows the lock screen but won't let me press anything. Apart from the Power Off pop up when it appears. I also can still interact with the always on display.
If I boot it in safe mode, the issue doesn't occur and I can interact the screen indefinitely.
I've not installed any new apps recently but this just started happening about a day ago.
Any ideas of what's wrong/how to fix it?

If it works in safe mode but doesn't when booted normally, then your issue is caused by something that you installed yourself. Use trial and error to figure out which of your installed apps is causing the issue by uninstalling apps and seeing if this issue still happens, when you uninstall the offending app, it should start working like it is supposed to.

Phone freezes & reboots

Hello everyone!
I wish you having a nice day, here i come with an issue that im facing... The thing is that my Xperia XZ Premium freezes from time to time, sometimes when i unlock it i cant interact with the screen at all, it just show me the last screen i was in then nothing happens besides i click or swipe anything, sometimes im able to use the power botton and lock-unlock the phone and i can use it after that, sometimes it pops ''system ui stopped or not responding'' so press close it and then keep using the mobile and on other occasions i cant even use the power botton, it remains freezed and reboots 1 or 2 minutes later. The other inconvenience is that it just reboots sometimes, it can be in my desk just sitting and it reboots with no apperently reason.
Right now im running completly stock Android 9 with compilation number 47.2.A.10.80, didnt root it or made changes at all besides unistalling some bloatware, i tried software repair with xperia companion twice but it didnt help.

question if my HTC M9 has a problem(unsolved and cannot be fixed)

I was watching a YouTube video then suddenly screen went green(area where video is shown) and black below navigation bar gone and buttons not working and phone hanged. Out of frustration I forcefully shutdown the phone and then pressed power button but not responding then thought of charging the phone the screen was okay then powered up the phone. I found that the time and date was reset. Is there any problem with my phone
1) either an app is causing the problem
2) maybe the phone is now failing
3) Or some processes caused the phone to hang and reset time and date
I noticed that the phone hangs frequently
