HELP PLEASE,
sir I m owning a micromax canvas 2 a110 .
recently I rooted my phone ics and flashed CYNUS T2 Rom on my canvas 2 .
when I try to root this rom, nothing happening to me .
tried flash tools as well it just srtuck at 0% no green ring to show progress.
when I choose recovery from path and press f9 to download
I always get an error not all the images are loaded properly you still want to continue I pressed yes nothing happens.
tried cmd as well to flash all commands worked except flashing recovery c:\recovery.img
it shows waiting for device as my device is attached 0123456789abcde
My drivers of mobistel is installed and adb working fine as it can be traced in device manager.
help me to root my jb cynus t2 rom so I can install pre rooted roms thanx....

Flash the Stock V2 via the SP Tool.

i think you need the cynus t2 driver..
0. Uninstall the micromax canvas 2 drivers.
1. Install mobistel cynus t2 rom using stock recovery.
2. Connect phone to pc, install mobistel drivers.
3. Remove phone from pc and turn it off. Open device manager in computer. Connect switched off phone to pc. You'll see a device in the COM ports section. Quickly right click it as it vanishes after a few seconds. Right click it and select update device driver.
4. Select the folder in which the cynus t2 drivers are installed. Now the drivers will be installed.
5. Replace the recovery.img with cwm recovery in stock v2 folder.
6. Remove your phone now and let it remain switched off. Open sp flash tool in administrator mode(just in case).
7. Load the scatter loading file and click download button.
8. Connect the phone now. And now everything should go fine.
yeah my mt65xx drivers was not installed after installing i used sp flash tools selected scatter file n recovery pressed download
red bar completes and showing enter usb in 15 sec after that i get an error helpp.............
error 8100 cant find usb port
what should i do know
sir when i use sp flash tool to root jb cynus t2 rom, i selected download when i connected my device it shows 100% with red bar and shows enter usb in 15 sec and after that shows an error 8100 usb port cant be located .
help as com ports are installed for MT65xx and is working properly and named is preloade usb vcom(android) Com 4.
yeah my mt65xx drivers was not installed after installing/updating from drive i selected mobile cynus t2 under program files and said encounted a problem and cant update drivers so i downloaded MT65xx drivers from xda site and browsed and drivers got installed named is preloade usb vcom(android) Com 4. i used sp flash tools selected scatter file n recovery pressed download

did you try drivers from pdanet?..
did u use "run as admininstrator" for running flashtool... then try without that. because for me, bin4ry rooting donot wrk if i use run as admin option!..
in one tutorial i found
"Please note that, even though it isn't mandatory to select it on the list of images to flash,
preloader file must be present in the same folder as the other partition(s) that you want to flash, or else phone will not be able to enter into download mode."

so try keeping the cwm recovery.img in the same place as stock recovery was .. ( this is a wild wild gues) ..
Year I m tried a lot of trying I though buying an android will b a good move
But I think I ll stick to windows.

hey , dont loose hope yet bro..i know u hav done all steps correctly. but in my opinion, u need to have more patience ,,..you havent tried all your options yet....
other options are to run spflashtools in a different windows version...may b ur neighbours PC... with drivers freshly installed..
or wait for some jb root tools to come up

Humm it seems all are having similar problem ....
the best solution will be is to proceed freshly i.e format your windows and start again
remember install drivers properly and then use flash tool
see the results n keep posting .....

If u have CWM or twrp Recovery...just download su update from here - http://download.chainfire.eu/382/SuperSU/UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.93.zip copy it to sd card & flash it via CWM or TWRP. maybe it will help u.
hi fnds i had a bricked mmx a110 phone. for that [email protected] has given a wonderful idea that is
1.First of all download and extract the following file to any specified folder........
A.STOCK JELLYBEAN.RAR
B.SP FLASH TOOLS
*************THE PASSWORD OF SP FLASH TOOLS IS "[email protected]" (without quotation marks)****************
2.now remove ur fone's battery and keep it aside.
3.go to the folder where u have extracted sp flash tools. Run it as administration.
4.click on scatter loading option and browse for the folder where u have extracted jb(or ics rom).
5.now click on firmware upgrade option if flashing jb or if flashing ics click download option.
6.connect ur fone to pc.
Let the process complete. After it completes reinsert the battery and switch on ur fone.
And wid this u should have successfully unbricked ur fone..
Note:U will observe dat ur fone is unrooted again and cwm or twrp recovery has been replaced by stock recovery.

i've followed it exactly & i got my phone back with stock rom.
now the only problem is even though i've checked usb debugging mode on in my phone & connecting it to pc to root my phone by using ""one click method/ root with bin4ry/ unroot pro"" it is showing pls connect ur device with usb debugging on even though i have put it in on mode.
but i'm getting like s9081 autoplay window when i connect my phone to pc.
so pls help me
all the thing i want is only root. of there is any way of rooting my phone with out pc it will be very good,
otherwise pls help me to solve above problem.

You will need TWRP recovery to root and also to flash custom roms on your kitkat Lenovo.

Windows 8 or up follow this procedure for installation.
TWRP_S660CN ↦ Contains recovery.img and android scatter file that needed to flash with flash tool, this only for CN firmware
TWRP_S660EU ↦ Contains recovery.img and android scatter file that needed to flash with flash tool, this only for EU firmware ROW version
SP Flash Tool v3.1328 ↦ Recommended using this version but there is a possibility that we must use the newest version.
PROCEDURE:
Download all required files, place it at same folder for easy organized it. Extract SP Flash Tool v3.1328 and TWRP_S660EU on the same folder. Make sure you already completely installing USB VCom driver before continued to next step.
Go to flash tool extracted folder and run Flash_Tool.exe, if you are using windows 7 or later please ensure that you running it using administrator privilege, on the flash tool check DA DL All with Checksum option. Now click on Scatter-Loading button and point it to TWRP_S660EU extracted folder and select MT6582_Android_scatter.txt, this will load recovery.img to flash tool.
Install TWRP 2.7.1.1 on Lenovo S660 Running Android 4.4.2
When finish with flash tool, now press Download button or hit F9. This will show pop up that told not all images loaded correctly, just click Yes button. And flash tool become stand by mode waiting connection from your device.
Install TWRP 2.7.1.1 on Lenovo S660 Running Android 4.4.2
Now turn off your device and remove the battery, connect your device with USB cable data to your computer, if USB VCom driver installed completely then flash tool will recognize your device and begin to start flashing process. This process only take 2-3 minutes and when you see GREEN CIRCLE in the middle of flash tool you save to disconnect your device
Install TWRP 2.7.1.1 on Lenovo S660 Running Android 4.4.2
Done, congratulation you already finish change your Lenovo Standard Recovery with custom recovery TWRP v2.7.1.1. confirm it with go to recovery mode turn off your device and then turn on with press and hold Power Button + Volume Up + Volume Down button until you can see TWRP v2.7.1.1 main menu.

It shows green circle . But when we go to recovery the same factory mode is opening there .

Hi, I flashed Vibe ui 2.0 rom yesterday. And there wasn't any recovery on that ROM so I tried Philz recovery after that my phone started booting into recovery every time.
So I fashed the same ROM again. To test which recovery will work properly I tried CWM recovery. After that my phone is stuck in bootloop.
It just show android icon and than restarts.
Tried to go in recovery by pressing Volume up + Power key doesn't work. Pressing Volume Up + Volume Down + power shows two option
Volume up - Recovery Mode
Volume down - Factory Mode
Click on any option again starts rebooting.
Trying to connect phone to laptop but it even starts rebooting on connecting. So SpFlash Tool is not able to do its work.
Fastboot is also not detecting the phone.
I tried installing USB driver but it says can't be done because driver misses digital signature.
Please suggest me some solution by which I can flash stock ROM or boot into recovery so that I can restore my Backup.
While trying spflash tool..remove ur phone battery
removed the battery but SPTool doesn't detect mobile.

Try these drivers and try spflash tool again..(not including ur battery in phone)
If the drivers didnt work then try on some pc not laptop...

Just for the safer side.
Follow these steps..
Afte installing drivers ,open spflash tool. Then click on scatter loading and brows the scatter file .then click on download button.
After that connect ur phone (excluding ur battery).
And u r good to go..

finally got it fixed
Final got it fixed. win 7 driver worked for me. windows 8 wasn't allowing me to install driver without digital signature. Once enabling installation without digital signature SPTool recognized my phone and I flashed the ROM.
Huge relief, I didn't have extra phone to use. Now I can use my phone.Now installed Philz recovery and restoring my backup.

Welcome Guys
As we hv got new OTA lp firmware for our device so we dont need to use or flash old lp firmware and also we dont need to use old lp patch method to root it
so here m making a new and very simple guide to root your phone wich is on OTA lolipop 5.1 firmware
Guide
..download the recovery_root file nd xtract it in ur pc
..after extracting u will get folder (philiz recovery) and (rooting)
..Now u need Latest sp flash tools nd drivers (google for it)
..now in SP Flash Tool and open the flash_tool.exe
..now click on scatter-loading nad then a new window will open,in this popup window go to the folder (philiz recovery) and inside the folder u will see the file MT6592_Android_scatter.txt
..now select it nd hit enter...
the files will be loaded in flashtool so now click on download nd then remove battry of ur phone and conect it to pc
..if u hv installed acurate drivers then flashing will be start
..after complete u will get green logo with download complete
..remove the usb from phone and insert battry nd hold the power+volume up botons (neccesory step) for 10 seconds
..when phone will power on after some seconds the recovery will be open
..in recovery tap on mount and storage and then tap on mount usb storage and then conect ur phone to pc
..Then copy root.zip file to ur phone and then disconect ur phone and now in recovery tap on back
..Now install this root file in ur phone using recovery nd reboot ur phone
..Ur phone is rooted now
