HELP PLEASE,
sir I m owning a micromax canvas 2 a110 .
recently I rooted my phone ics and flashed CYNUS T2 Rom on my canvas 2 .
when I try to root this rom, nothing happening to me .
tried flash tools as well it just srtuck at 0% no green ring to show progress.
when I choose recovery from path and press f9 to download
I always get an error not all the images are loaded properly you still want to continue I pressed yes nothing happens.
tried cmd as well to flash all commands worked except flashing recovery c:\recovery.img
it shows waiting for device as my device is attached 0123456789abcde
My drivers of mobistel is installed and adb working fine as it can be traced in device manager.
help me to root my jb cynus t2 rom so I can install pre rooted roms thanx....

Flash the Stock V2 via the SP Tool.

i think you need the cynus t2 driver..
0. Uninstall the micromax canvas 2 drivers.
1. Install mobistel cynus t2 rom using stock recovery.
2. Connect phone to pc, install mobistel drivers.
3. Remove phone from pc and turn it off. Open device manager in computer. Connect switched off phone to pc. You'll see a device in the COM ports section. Quickly right click it as it vanishes after a few seconds. Right click it and select update device driver.
4. Select the folder in which the cynus t2 drivers are installed. Now the drivers will be installed.
5. Replace the recovery.img with cwm recovery in stock v2 folder.
6. Remove your phone now and let it remain switched off. Open sp flash tool in administrator mode(just in case).
7. Load the scatter loading file and click download button.
8. Connect the phone now. And now everything should go fine.
yeah my mt65xx drivers was not installed after installing i used sp flash tools selected scatter file n recovery pressed download
red bar completes and showing enter usb in 15 sec after that i get an error helpp.............
error 8100 cant find usb port
what should i do know

help as com ports are installed for MT65xx and is working properly and named is preloade usb vcom(android) Com 4.
yeah my mt65xx drivers was not installed after installing/updating from drive i selected mobile cynus t2 under program files and said encounted a problem and cant update drivers so i downloaded MT65xx drivers from xda site and browsed and drivers got installed named is preloade usb vcom(android) Com 4. i used sp flash tools selected scatter file n recovery pressed download

did you try drivers from pdanet?..
did u use "run as admininstrator" for running flashtool... then try without that. because for me, bin4ry rooting donot wrk if i use run as admin option!..
in one tutorial i found
"Please note that, even though it isn't mandatory to select it on the list of images to flash,
preloader file must be present in the same folder as the other partition(s) that you want to flash, or else phone will not be able to enter into download mode."

so try keeping the cwm recovery.img in the same place as stock recovery was .. ( this is a wild wild gues) ..

hey , dont loose hope yet bro..i know u hav done all steps correctly. but in my opinion, u need to have more patience ,,..you havent tried all your options yet....
other options are to run spflashtools in a different windows version...may b ur neighbours PC... with drivers freshly installed..
or wait for some jb root tools to come up

Humm it seems all are having similar problem ....
the best solution will be is to proceed freshly i.e format your windows and start again
remember install drivers properly and then use flash tool
see the results n keep posting .....

If u have CWM or twrp Recovery...just download su update from here - http://download.chainfire.eu/382/SuperSU/UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.93.zip copy it to sd card & flash it via CWM or TWRP. maybe it will help u.

I am getting a continuous restart after the logo appears, I think I have deleted the recovery as it does not goes into recovery also, keeps on restarting, let me know if this method will help me to unbrick my device..

No Luck dude, I did the same as you said but after everything it showed download complete and I started my phone, it came to logo " XOLO " and after that blank screen waited a lot but still the same blank screen, any help from you pls...

Thanks everything went well and was able to get the recovery back but not the stock, booted in CWM recovery and installed your xtrance rom as i was not able to boot the stock rom, it was idle in the boot and was not booting also, anyways thanks now now device is unbricked..

which option you chose for format I chose "Automatic and format whole flash except bootloader and nav bin something"
it goes dead not even XOLO logo but when chose download it shows xolo logo and then blank

actually now the phone is not recognized as a phone. but unknown device by the computer. the computer doesnt accept the ini files as drivers saying unknown driver. i m in a pickle now. i tried changing the usb cable still nothing. i think my preloader is also formatted. can u help me in flashing the preloader back?

What did you do? I think I have a similar issue with my tablet, a Pixi 8079.

I am new to the forum and recently started using custom roms..
I was installing the "rayne rom" using cwm and after formatting data and system..it stopped suddenly and gave a message "symlink failed"
Now the phone does not reboot to CWM recovery and only the previous Devs boot logo comes...PLEASE help...I think i may have bricked it.

Are you pressing the recovery buttons correctly? Take out battery then put it back. Then try pressing the Power button and Volume Up + Down together and see if it opens CWM..

Yes the CWM recovery came...but i do not have stock Rom in phone and my mem card slot is busted..
Should i try flashing using SP flash tools ???

Then you need to flash the stock ROM with SP Flash tool

Yes..u can flash through SP tool as said by @IBashar..in case..if u dont want to flash through SP tools..I will suggest u to use someone else SD card & paste ur rom in that & then flash through recovery..as I personally feel that flashing through SP Tool is quite cumbursome..

Don't worry bro! Try to boot into CWM again because it should be there. Then try to flash the ROM again...
And remember, in future, always take a Nandroid backup before you install anything, mod or ROM. It really helps in case something goes wrong and phone stops working,

None of the tools will work unless you install the correct Drivers.. So install teh drivers that are given in the SP Flash tool thread and then try.

I Also Face The Problem With SP Tools 0% Problem Take Out The USB Cable And Insert It Again And After 30-40 Seconds It Will Show The Process Completed 100% And Green Ring Will Be There

I tried Installing custom rom by going to recovery mode .....but it gets unknown error....
I tried spflash tool ..... but it asks for enabling usb debugging mode but my stucks on android logo..... now basically my question is that how to turn debugging mode on when my phone get stucks on android logo.....
I also can't install cwm recovery because it's also ask for enabling a debugging mode.......

A few lines later you mention that you can't install cwm... is there something I miss????

Can you enter Fastboot/Flash mode manually/via PC and flash a new ROM from there using Flash Tool?
Have you unlocked your bootloader?
Have you tried following these steps?
That's pretty much everything I can think of.

No I said I can't install a rom via recovery it gets unknown error ....
But Now I have another question how to enter mt5689 in Fastboot/Flash Mode manually via pc .....with flash tool......

if you want to install a stock rom via odin, you dont need usb debugging to be on, just boot into odin/download mode (google to see how) and flash a stock rom, then do whatever you need.

Now listen to me very carefully! Don't even try to flash a new firmware to your mobile which is not for your mobile and face the same fate as did! Your place is needrom.com. just contact the site administrator for your device model and he will help you... Believe me!

but after installing a rom with spflash tool....... my hand set gets dead....no usb no display no charging nothing.......
I flashed with spflash tool and process completed successfully with no error... but after installation of rom I safely remove usb of my device ... but when I try to turn my phone on then nothing happen.. now my phone is hard bricked.... Now Plz guide me what I should do now....
I heard from someone that I can be fixed with volcano box....
Plz can anyone tell me..

Help i have the same problem, put a custom boot loader on an asus zenfone 2 ze551ml and I couldnt get my passcode to work so I put it in recovery mode and wipe devit cache and it took longer than it should so I forced phone off and ever since then the phjone turns on but loops. I have tried to manully put the phone fastboot and doing that but didnt work. and even tried to update from ADB and that even didnt work. I have tried everything but no luck. Please help me. or email me too [email protected]
The bootloader of my htc desire s is locked and the phone is also not turning on , my usb debugging modhe was disabled, now i need to unlock the bootloader . help me please

Stable rom as in stock rom? or a stable custom rom?
in any case. if you have cwm or twrp you should be able to access the file on your computer, or even transfer it to an sd if the phone has it..
if its a custom rom flashable zip though you you might as well just flash it.
if its a stock rom an you cant aces recovery then you have to redownload it to your pc....

Now you can't unbrick your phone because you overwritten the preloader of your phone. Remember: when flashing with SP flash tool you mustn't flash the preloader. The preloader is the file that makes possible the flashing with SP and now that you have overwritten it or flashed the wrong one, you probably won't be able to recover it. Take it to service center.

I rooted my galaxy grand win.. and installed transwin rom. But when I try to connect my phone to pc it's only charging and not able to transfer any data.. and it's not connecting to odin also.. when tried to flash another rom I got stuck in cwm recovery mode for almost 5 days..I searched on Google I found that using stock flash file I can come out of cwm.. so I booted into stock mode using "stock flash zip file" via install zip .. . Now I m not able to boot into cwm recovery mode.. please Help me to connect my phone to pc. And to boot into cwm recovery. Thanks in advance.. rom manager also not helping..now I installed stock rom which I have backed up before.. but still not able to connect with my pc...

But when I try to connect my phone to pc it's only charging and not able to transfer any data.. and it's not connecting to odin also.. when tried to flash another rom I got stuck in cwm recovery mode for almost 5 days..I searched on Google I found that using stock flash file I can come out of cwm.. so I booted into stock mode using "stock flash zip file" via install zip .. . Now I m not able to boot into cwm recovery mode.. please Help me to connect my phone to pc. And to boot into cwm recovery. Thanks in advance.. rom manager also not helping..now I installed stock rom which I have backed up before.. but still not able to connect with my pc...

Turn off your phone and then boot to Download Mode (to do that, press Power, Volume Down and Home button at the same time). If you have your phone's drivers installed on your PC then Odin should recognize your phone. Now go to samsung-updates.com and download your phone's firmware. The link I gave is for GT-I8552 - which I'm assuming is your phone's model number. Once it downloads, flash it using Odin.
Looks like MtpApplication.apk is missing on your phone. That's why you probably can't transfer any files. Either this or something might be wrong with your phone's micro USB port or your USB cable.

i solved that problem but now m facing one more problem, on my galaxy grand win 8552 i reinstalled TWRP and after reboot my phone not starting only.. totally dead.. no vibration,no light on pressing of any key.. only when i connect it to my laptop it says unkwn device(beeps like something is connected to pc) even phone is in dead condition.... actually i was running on cwm after directly i installed twrp and after finishing i selected reboot and after that nothing happened and phone not starting only.. no charging logo also.. today i just downloaded stock rom.. nw plzz tell me how to install stock rom..is there any way to flash stock rom?????? i cant enter into cwm ..

Looks like you bricked your phone. Are you sure that the TWRP you installed is for your phone? Because this usually happens when you install something that was not made for your phone.
Try to do what I said earlier. Boot to Download Mode. And using Odin flash your phone's firmware. If the damage is not severe then by doing this it should fix your phone. If the damage is severe then perhaps your phone is permanently bricked.
can i install rom through sp tool.. i tried it also but it asking scatter file.. i dont have scatter file of galaxy grand win 8552.. if u have then plz give me its link.. thats my last hope to bring my cell to file..
and that TWEP i installed was not for my cell.. i installed it by mistakly..

I feel you can try connecting your phone again to odin and flashing a custom recovery made for your phone. That's all of your hopes left if it is not bricked. Pray to god.

i fixed that problem with nearest repair shop.. he said my root file were deleted.. he repaired my phone but before doing that all my phone internal memory was 5.10gb now it became 1.5gb, when i asked him,he said that was necessory because some of your storage got damaged due to flashing wrong recovery(done by me).... so i want to know whatever he said is right???? if yes then is there any possibilities to repair my damaged storage part.....
