Hi, my dad bought note 10.1 about a year back but since 2-3 week it is too long to charge. Is anyone facing such kind of problem ? Any solution ?

hi, i have an inspire 4G bought off ebay. the phone was used for a month and was kept inside the box for about 6 months. now, i started using it again and after 3 weeks, the phone is now switching off immediately after removing it from the charger.
i took it to HTC store, and they say it is a mother board issue. which i doubt as the phone is workin well when connected to the charger. a battery change also did not help.
any suggestions? please help
Sounds like a bad battery. Battery may be reporting charged but may not be putting out the required voltage.

well, the HTC guy reportedly used a different battery. i live in India. anything can happen here. ANYTHING. he said it is a motherboard issue and it would cost $200 to fix it since the phone is not having any warranty.
but my question is, could it actually be a motherboard issue? i don't have issues using the phone hooked on to the charger.
You can pick up a new 3rd party battery very cheap from the net. I would try that first. Yes it could be the motherboard as anything is possible in India.

Hi,
I have a strange problem.
I have a TF-101 that's about 2 or 3 years old and it's been reliable up until now. It's fully stock running ICS.
I have two chargers for it, one; the original charger that came with it and an after market one from Amazon.
Up until now, I haven't had problems charging it...but what it's been doing is this: I charge it for an hour or two and when I pull it off of the charger, it shows 100%. Within 1 minute it drops to 75%...and just a minute later 50% and by two minutes...it says "Plug in your charger!"
It does this with both chargers....can anyone help me with what might be wrong?
I think your battery got "lazy" in other words your battery is defect and you probally have to replace it by yourself or let someone else do it. I would advice you to call to asus customer support and ask them If they can repair your Pad.

Yes it would! But note I am not 100% sure if this is your problem. Maybe someone at the local hardware store can tell you more about your problem.
Okay, found something which can probally help you!
Step 1: Ask in a local hardware store or something else like that if replacing the battery of your pad will solve your problem!!!
Step 2: Check if you got all the equipment named in the youtube movie. Order a battery for example here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Genuine-C21...ormer-TF101-TR101-Series-Laptop-/261045136443
Step 3: Watch this movie: http://www.youtube.com/watch?annota...&feature=iv&src_vid=KJihe-hpA4M&v=9eOu4Y9D33Y and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KJihe-hpA4M (those movies are not made by me)
Step 4: Follow the instructions of the movie and replace your battery.
I hope this will help you.

Well...no matter. I decided to get another tablet and not try and crack the case myself...not to mention batteries on Ebay are about 75.00 and up....it's not worth it to me.
I bought a Motorola Xoom instead.
I'm putting this bad boy up on ebay as is with bad battery for 85.00.

Ordered a white and a black for myself. New with 1-year warranty.
Do you happen to know if they ship to Spain?
Many thanks!
Looks like USA only going by the the States drop down box - no 'other' included.
That being said maybe a few will pop up on eBay with a little bit more of a price increase.
confused as the title says friday 6/13 and was posted today..... but friday is 6/14 ...and i cannot find the deal
I know that a recent update made the N4 play well with all wireless chargers, but can someone confirm this categorically for me? Are the frequent disconnects with the DT900 fixed now?

I just wanted to chime in on this old post and say that my phone works fine with this charger. It flickers twice when I first put it on, but it sticks after that. It seems to charge at the same rate as my OEM wall charger and cable, but it's hard to tell for sure.

Ymmv, but my experience with this charger and an early (2012 delivery) Nexus 4 is poor.
The phone initially recognizes the charger and begins charging, but soon looses interest and the charging stops.
By contrast, the Orb, which I swapped for this Nokia unit to save space, worked very well.

You can check the revision in the bootloader. But I guess that won't be necessary. The newer version has better compatibility with QI chargers.

Doesn't matter you need to check boot loader. My gf got a revision 10 and ordered this month. Fkn google. She didn't even get the free bumper. They told her to send it back and order again. Fk logic
I have to report back and say that while I don't seem to have a connection problem with this charger, it doesn't seem to give me a full charge. Twice now I've put it on at night, woke up 6-7 hours later and my phone was at 97-98% (still charging). It was on a completely flat surface so I can't image the phone slipped or moved at all during the night causing it to stop charging.
I should have checked my hardware revision before ordering three of these... I'm r11.
I picked one up from the AT&T site. Just over $25 with free shipping. Only have white and yellow left. I'd imagine they will be sold out in a few once this news gets out.

Hi,
Just got one from Media Markt in Germany for 28€.
They had in Blue, Yellow and White.
I took the white one.
My Nexus 4 is on Rev. 11.
The guy at the shop was kind enough to agree to unpack it and hook it up, so we could put the phone onto it and see if it charges.
Well it did.
So now I am at home... it is charging and even pretty fast. Got about 6% in 10-12 minutes, so I guess in about 3 hours I should have a full charge.
The connection seems to be lost every 10 seconds, but it keeps charging.
I'll report further in 3 hours.
Regards.
NexusPenguin
[EDIT] : Same as Daewond3r here : it stops charging when it reaches 98%. Not a big deal anyways, but still worth mentioning... I might give another charger a try...

Are you using the official charger from Samsung? If not then that's why since our tablet recognizes the official one and only then charges at full speed.

Wierd! Maybe the cable or the charger is damaged. Or the port of the tablet. Could you try a new official charger? Seems like the only solution to me other than sending the tablet to Samsung. Warranty could cover this if Samsung can't verify that the damage was caused by rooting or custom roms. If they can't then you're covered I believe from the law.

I change the original cable from samsung then the problem solved. The original cable I notice that the charging speed is very slow and 2 friends of mine also facing the same problem when they are using the original cable.
Great! I'm glad it worked.
I have noticed the same problem since few month, a new cable did the job. Thanks.
Yeah, had this too... solved by charging in 'flight' mode.

Hello, so I bought a used Tab 2 without the original charger and now after a month it's hard to charge.
I've followed some steps online, but I have to do it every single time and I'm tired of doing it.
So my question is this.
For those that have had this problem, did you change your battery?
Did it solve the problem?
I'm looking at batteries on eBay and are cheaper than getting a new tablet. But not sure if it would solve my problem since I still don't have an original charger.
It gives me that battery icon with an X when I tried to charge.
I did get a so called original charger from eBay with no luck.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

I'd definitely suggest getting an original charger. Which version do you have? I have the WiFi only one 3113
On so called original chargers or even parts for the most part stay away from eBay, it's not worth the hassle
