No. It will be worse. But I'd rather have less battery than an ancient OS on my phone, its a small trade-off. I use a custom kernel to set a higher charge voltage so I charge my phone at half the time.
The battery life will be worse, but your phone will become awesome.
Carry an extra battery with you just in case. And if you have questions use search because this question has been amswered several times already.

Not this button ... not relevant. Go to thread about battery. There you have reply for that but is good to buy 3800mAh battery with special cover. I bought one for my girlfriend and she have working phone (internet, movie ,games ) from 3 days. Now she have 28% battery)

Yeah but there are a few sense based roms, I don't have the patience to wipe and flash each and every one or deal with CWM backups. Just asking people who already have experience
Try CleanRom 4.5. I've been getting good results.

I don't see why you're flaming me for this. I don't have time to sit around all day. Backup all my data, flash a new rom, restore data. Play around for 2 days, test battery life. Then repeat x4 or however many times to find the best one. I like to stay on the same ROM for many weeks at least to avoid that. What's the problem with asking the community for people that have already tried a rom. So now, anyone else also looking for the same answer to my question can also find an answer. Now what's wrong with that again? Oh yeah asking a question, *smack forehead*. Stop trolling. Maybe if you've been around here as long as I have, you'd understand
Edit: Lol I saw you're signature, you don't even have a One X. True troll trolling a Q&A Section of another device

Cool bro
Yesterday i saw there is a update for htc one X, its a update to improve your battery life.
So wait till they integrate that battery fix in their one X roms.
P.s. the htc one x is now benchmarket with a better battery then the s3, or iphone 4s

Doesn't matter, everyone uses their phone differently so they have different results. Most people here get 4 hours or more with the screen on with cleanrom 4.5, I get up to 6 hours. Phone itself can last over 24 hours.
Why do you think it is surprising that this phone has good battery life?

Cleanrom 4.5 It get around 5 hours screen on time and thats after running the phone for around 16 hours, and there's still around 20% battery left.

You guys are lucky you might get jelly bean. Apple can't bother to try to get HTC devices banned because they're not actually a threat. Even if they were, HTC would be lazy and simply remove any infringing software. Us over at the sensation forum have a nearly working jelly bean rom but we won't have front facing camera working without official HTC kernel. Is it the same for you guys?

Virtually everything is working perfectly. Camera F+B, video, (Netflix on some builds),etc. The only problems are random reboots / freezing when screen is off but those have drastically reduced recently. There are even mounting of both internal and external SD on R4ins build although torch locks up when screen is off on his build. Our community took jb and ran with it. Daily driver for sure, at least for people who know what there doing and aren't scared of a hiccup or two along the way.
Best of luck getting yours functioning properly

There is no official JB for the Skyrocket yet, but you can get Vincom's Rom AKA VinRom if you go under developement its there. Not official but its the best ROM out there yet...Fast and very good.
Well take a look at how long it took us to get ICS. I believe we had a official release back in june and the unofficial leak back in December. So if we do get a leak I don't think we'll see one till mid 2013. Also keep in mind that the S3 is out so S2's are now obsolete.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I727 using xda app-developers app
R4INS' AOKP Jellybean Sept-5 build (with InstigatorX kernel, of course) is definitely the most stable and feature-packed variety of Jellybean available on the Skyrocket right now. I'd be surprised to ever see an official leaked for this device because the S3 replaced the relevance of the entire S2 line.
There are conflicting reports. This one from SamMobile seems to both confirm and leave it in doubt.
Ok, the insiders of SamMobile reported to us that all high-end Galaxy devices will get the Jelly Bean update.
In other words, the Galaxy S II, Galaxy Note, Galaxy Note 10.1 and Galaxy S III.
When we asked Samsung Benelux about this they told us that they couldn’t tell us anything about the updates.

I disagree. As long as we have good, dedicated developers, the SR is not obsolete. There is little an S3 can do that a SR cannot. Our SR's even have an advantage in some areas over the S3, not the least of which is a long, strong history of quality development. Some users prefer the shape and physical build-quality of the SR over the S3, too.
Obsolete? Skyrockets, especially rooted and modded ones, are way beyond most if the smartphone market.

Better than being on HSDPA all the time, but sync is by far the worst drainer.
Mine is AMAZING but I'm on 'JellyBam' not just JB so don't know if that is the difference cuz my battery lasts from 7am to 10pmish from texting/calling/internet browsing/downloading games & apps/ plus using Skype during the day as well, maybe try a ROM if your on stock ROM with JB update?

Been using jellybean for about a month now. absolutely terrible battery life. i used to get 24 hours on ICS with HSDPA all the time, and i barely manage 12 hours on JB.
Wish there was something that could fix.
I might just have to downgrade back to ICS.

Just wanted to add.. The jelly bean sense based ROMs just came out.. Remember ICS has been out for a while... Crespo is the name codename of Nexus S, Avatar is cool for costumisation but not that god with performance, search for HellyBean roms or Slim Bean roms, they have the best balance between features and performance (Helly Bean has some glitches that the creator will fix in 1-2 weeks, depending on how long his vacation is)

It's old by phone standards, but it's a good audio player compared to much newer ones, and because of google's suport of it untill 4.1 the roms that have later versions of JellyBean still work preety smooth. If you have money then buy a new phone but the man that started this thread vas asking us if it's still a good phone and it is, now if you compare it to the note 2, nexus 4 and phones like this well then it's not case it's 2 generations behind them, but it's still the best single core out there

Though at first I've had a problem with the battery life, I've managed to come along to having a stable one which is fixed with installing the latest version of CM and voila, everything for me is smooth... not much of a bug I guess.
