That's something you will just have to test yourself. Everyone uses their phone differently. Myself they all seem the same for my use but I can't stay on one long enough to really tell lol.

Well I'm using JB BeanStalk right now and the battery life is quite okay but if you want the best battery life i suggest going back to stock GingerBread. Thats the best best one

If ya want to come down to it PA has the best battery life heavy use and I mean heavy 16 to 18 hours easy
Sent from my SGH-I997 using Tapatalk 2

Im on Aeon 1.4sl and on regular use i go about 30 along woth juice defender and a 2100mah battery. Heavy use is around 18 to 20 TOPS and i have screen brightmess about 1/3 way.

Possible way to quickly get great battery life?

Hi I was thinking what if there was a way to manualy set the properties for the batterystats.bin file or if someone with really good battery life uploaded their battery stats file if we would end up getting the same battery life? I was going to give it a try but I can't seem to fine the values I need in the battery stats file soo...
Will someone that properly calibrated their battery or someone that gets amazing battery life upload their battery stats so I can try this and report back...maybe we can save us all valuable time by not needing to calibrate the battery every time we flash a rom! let's try it!

Haha I get harassed about it. Mainly things like, "dude why did you do that to your phone?! That's awesome can you do it to mine?!?"
They then proceed to hand me an iPhone.. which I had earlier, before and through half the summer, then I discovered the beauty of android

I have people asking to "jailbreak" their Android phone and its fun to correct them and tell them its called rooting its pretty fun
..I have also tried changing some values in the batterystats trying to see if I can allow it to almost just totally kill the battery before it shuts off to get the mist out if the batter

Great! a good thing to do is use it like you normally do and then before you put it on the charger when you get home or something is turn everything on..(data,wifi,Bluetooth, gps) and surf the web all the way until the phone shuts off then plug it in

What has me dumbfounded is the fact that they have ICS working (alpha) but still on the G1. I mean Jesus dude that's like a dinosaur compared to the inspire and desire. Its totally killing me that they managed to port it to that thing, then of course there's the HD2- its still kicking every phones ass out there. Yes, even the nexus prime. XD

Q> ROM with the best battery life?

Hi I'm looking for a ROM to put on my gf's phone and she pretty much only cares about simplicity and battery life, anyone know what I should try out?

You will get a bunch of different answers on this. Everyone will have an opinion on which rom has the best battery life. Your best bet would be to try a couple and see which one preforms best for her.
Oh awesome I didn't realize smokin had a rom for hox... gonna have to try this one out, thanks!

Hmmm... I'm on that ROM right now and am having battery issues. Was it like that as-is or did you further customize it within its settings?
Try the new R122 build.
And all I did was download CPU Master from the play store and underclocked to 912 MHz for most of the day.

Best ROM for battery!

I cannot find a ROM that has great battery life! I'm currently running the latest touchcream ROM. I'm not too big on features but they're nice. I'm just looking for a ROM with the best battery life! No preference on sense or AOSP. Please help! Thank you!

Anker battery boosted my battery life by about 20-25%, and I also agree that VI gives awesome battery life
Just carry a lead with you, i have one about 10cm in length and it goes in my pocket wherever i go. There's a high chance (probably 80%) that i will be near a USB plug! all 3 jobs have computers nearby, my car has USB and every house i visit has a USB port somewhere. At least that way you can play 3d games for more than 3/4 of an hour.
Think about it? Is there a lot of places you visit that don't have USB?
I'm happy if my battery lasts from 9 to 5 without a charge!

Better than being on HSDPA all the time, but sync is by far the worst drainer.
Mine is AMAZING but I'm on 'JellyBam' not just JB so don't know if that is the difference cuz my battery lasts from 7am to 10pmish from texting/calling/internet browsing/downloading games & apps/ plus using Skype during the day as well, maybe try a ROM if your on stock ROM with JB update?
Mines been absolutely amazing. Get 24 hours no problem with heavy use. Today I had over 2 hours of talk time, games, and Internet. Wish I could check on screen time though

Been using jellybean for about a month now. absolutely terrible battery life. i used to get 24 hours on ICS with HSDPA all the time, and i barely manage 12 hours on JB.
Wish there was something that could fix.
I might just have to downgrade back to ICS.

Just wanted to add.. The jelly bean sense based ROMs just came out.. Remember ICS has been out for a while... When ICS first came out it didn't have the greatest battery either..give it time allow people to figure out what works and what doesn't..it has already changed a lot sense the first virtuous release... We'll get it rite just be patient..

Just to clarify also when I posted this it wasn't directed at devs here. More towards HTC and jellybean. And if I'm lucky batt life is okay for the most part sadly sucks. Guess can't expect much out the small battery this phone has.
