Hi I'm looking for a ROM to put on my gf's phone and she pretty much only cares about simplicity and battery life, anyone know what I should try out?

You will get a bunch of different answers on this. Everyone will have an opinion on which rom has the best battery life. Your best bet would be to try a couple and see which one preforms best for her.

Oh awesome I didn't realize smokin had a rom for hox... gonna have to try this one out, thanks!

xi40, get like minimum 6 hours screen on time.

Hmmm... I'm on that ROM right now and am having battery issues. Was it like that as-is or did you further customize it within its settings?

Try the new R122 build.
And all I did was download CPU Master from the play store and underclocked to 912 MHz for most of the day.

Possible way to quickly get great battery life?

Hi I was thinking what if there was a way to manualy set the properties for the batterystats.bin file or if someone with really good battery life uploaded their battery stats file if we would end up getting the same battery life? I was going to give it a try but I can't seem to fine the values I need in the battery stats file soo...
Will someone that properly calibrated their battery or someone that gets amazing battery life upload their battery stats so I can try this and report back...maybe we can save us all valuable time by not needing to calibrate the battery every time we flash a rom! let's try it!

About to go in & place an order - my Anker seem to be draining a bit too much lately, plus the charger that came with the batteries broke - one of the connectors that charge the battery is mysteriously missing.......
Interesting I'll probably pick some off Ebay as they only come in a pack of two. Does checking I assume this will work with the Sensation XE as their all the same phone...
So did you guys end up trying the batteries? Did you like them? Because I'm not too happy with my anker

Been hearing these cause problems. I would recommend you just have two original battery and replace once one drains.
It would be nice if someone could report back on this?
This is great.
But i wonder if this battery is compatible with Sense 4.0 roms...?

any updates about this battery?
I would recommend a HTC evo 3d battery 1730mah vs sensations at 1520mah . I bought one a few weeks ago and have been very happy with it. And I know were it came from so I don't have to worry about it leaking or frying out my sensation. It won't last you three days between charges but should be good for full day.

How long have you used your Anker - what is the lifespan ? is it daily usage? stock ROM, overclocked? full display brightness?
thanks for the feedback.
I agree, ROMs have no issue with whatever battery you use on your phone.

I have used Anker for the past 3 months. Lifespan I don't know as of now but so far so good. I use it daily, I don't switch batteries. I'm running Virtuous Inquisition rom (great rom in my opinion), overclocked to 1.5 (comes with the rom), auto brightness. Anker isn't horrible! It last me an entire day with moderate usage. 7am- 9:30pm. Which is good. I'm just a hog and prefer longer lasting batteries such as this AceSoft battery. So I guess I'm just asking for too much. But definitely get Anker over stock battery. I'm probably going to buy AceSoft once when I get my paycheck next week and give it a shot since no one else is replying back with results.

I don't see why you're flaming me for this. I don't have time to sit around all day. Backup all my data, flash a new rom, restore data. Play around for 2 days, test battery life. Then repeat x4 or however many times to find the best one. I like to stay on the same ROM for many weeks at least to avoid that. What's the problem with asking the community for people that have already tried a rom. So now, anyone else also looking for the same answer to my question can also find an answer. Now what's wrong with that again? Oh yeah asking a question, *smack forehead*. Stop trolling. Maybe if you've been around here as long as I have, you'd understand
Edit: Lol I saw you're signature, you don't even have a One X. True troll trolling a Q&A Section of another device

Yesterday i saw there is a update for htc one X, its a update to improve your battery life.

Doesn't matter, everyone uses their phone differently so they have different results. Most people here get 4 hours or more with the screen on with cleanrom 4.5, I get up to 6 hours. Phone itself can last over 24 hours.
Why do you think it is surprising that this phone has good battery life?

Cleanrom 4.5 It get around 5 hours screen on time and thats after running the phone for around 16 hours, and there's still around 20% battery left.

Anker battery boosted my battery life by about 20-25%, and I also agree that VI gives awesome battery life
Just carry a lead with you, i have one about 10cm in length and it goes in my pocket wherever i go. There's a high chance (probably 80%) that i will be near a USB plug! all 3 jobs have computers nearby, my car has USB and every house i visit has a USB port somewhere. At least that way you can play 3d games for more than 3/4 of an hour.
Think about it? Is there a lot of places you visit that don't have USB?
I'm happy if my battery lasts from 9 to 5 without a charge!
