Hi,
Im using a Qtek S200 G4 and Im a newbie.
Ive tryed to install Windows mobile 6.1 and the ROM patching seems to be successfull but when the phone reboots I cant get through the BOOT screen (three colors). I believe I´ve follow guides correctly. Now I have reinstalled the defualt rom for this phone again and it works fine.
I´ve also patched the phone with HardSPL G4.
The ROMs ive tryed ton install:
wm61_korand_3_1
RomProphetManila2D Diamond
Any suggestions?
Does no one have a solution for me?

if you have already hardspl your device can you post what comes up in first boot screen Mine is like this

With my phone you can see that the hardspl was successful because it displays
SPL 2.G4.4PDA

i updated my s200 with a crossbow rom and now its dead
the update was sucssfull but when i push the power button the screen fliker for les than one sec and that it
my s200 will not go even to bootloader
any ideas ?

what ipl/spl do you have?
i have a G3 idont it was 2.20 i think
plz check again if its 2.20 or 2.21 and hope that its 2.20^^

mh you have g3 ... try the solution out that i mentioned before and try the cid unlock from pdamobiz.com... then reflash an older rom with spl/ipl.
edit:
the pdambiz can only be flashed when you are in align screen... if you have 2.21 take a wizard rom and go into align screen with active sync connection and flash the cid unlock rom.
if you have 2.20 then just try another prophet rom out and see if it works...

sorry that its in german but its the only one I have right now... you can also change the language with some programm which is available here in the board..spl and ipl is included and it should downgrade you pda to 2.09
its an original shipped rom, they are always for g3 and g4 right? it doesn't say anything about that, anyways i used it on my g4 and it worked so you might wanna check out before as you have a g3 device, but I'm pretty sure it works for g3 and g4
so i maneged to get my s200 into bootloader
i now i have IPL 1.01 and SPL 1.01 but my device is G3
so i tried to flash RUU_Prophet_220734_2207114_024721_QtekWWE_Ship.exe
and its start and when it reached 95% igot an error that says
"ERROR 326 ivalid command, the nfb file cannot be used with your pda phone
and one got and idea what to do ????
just now i tried to flash "RUU_Prophet_2090732_20907115_020720_QtekGER_Ship.e xe" and it fail at the first time
so i tried again and it sucsess
and now my qtek work again

i don't see the problem. it's no biggy if you have different versions of ipl and spl. if it works, leave it like that

this worked for me, but as i sure learned from flashing ipl/spl 3.08 (before flashing ipl 3.08 of wizard and totally bricking my g3 prophet ), this is no guarantee for others

Hi mates. i was using tnt series wm6 rom. and i just tried to upgrade to faria's rom using shell tool. and after non successful upgrading now. when i start my wizard it stuck on boot screen. with this info.
ipl : 3.08
spl: 3.08
Gsm : 2.19.11
OS : 2.18.0.0
i tried a alot installing original t-mobile shipped rom but it says the update utility is not for your device.
i tried a lot installing other roms using shell tool. but all return this screen. so please let me know. how i will completly flash this thing..

Are you using Windows Vista on your PC.
If you do, do some search around to find how to update from Vista in Bootloader Mode, as Vista can not talk to the phone on that state

i also tested with wizard service tool. and its also not detecting the device in boot loader mode.
so please let me know. what i will do. and which rom i will try to fix that issue.

Hi I have a G4 Prophet and the IPL and SPL version number reads 2.10.0001.
I would like to flash it to use a WM6.1 ROM with the touchflo type functionality and new IE Mobile features (i.e. zooming).
I have read through all the guides about carrying this out and have even started having a go but am getting confused about HardSPL.
From what I read HardSPL CID Unlocks your phone so that you can install a diffeerent Carrier (e.g. Orange, Vodaphone) ROM ... or in fact a home 'cooked' ROM off of this site.
I have tried manually carrying out the HardSPL using both the Prophet Tools GUI and the command line batch file HardSPL however after the procedure finishes my IPL and SPL do not read differently as all posts indicate (i.e. they do not read 2.G4.4PDA) ... instead they remain as 2.10.0001.
I have seen the phone go to the tri-colour bootloader screen and even the progress bar go up correctly however when it reboots it says 2.10.0001. I'm assuming that I cannot go ahead and flash with a ROM (such as the Shadow TE one until the SPL reads 2.G4.4PDA).
Can anyone offere me some help with getting to this?

I would recommend you use something like: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=353547 It makes it a one stop upgrade... That uses "JumpSPL" rather than HardSPL which is the short term option.
Thanks for the help I tried the alternative lazy tool and it worked (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=2141436&postcount=188) now my Orange SPV M600 has the Shadow Touch edition rom on it with the shadow cube addon, so far works a treat.
I would still be interested to know why the SPL version number did not change using the prophet tools or HardSPL on its own.

What is your devices IPL?
It may be because Soft/Jump SPL was not executed properly prior to HardSPL (this is automated through the HardSPL tools and Prophet Tools).

i ran upgrade_hardspl_g4 on my prophet, my spl is 2.15 still... what should i do l3v5y? tried flashing it 5 times still no luck. Please help, having a hard time upgrading roms...
ipl: 2.20
spl: 2.15
im currently downloading prophet tools 2.8. i currently flashed my 818 with PV_temp rom. i'll try to install the prophet tools and hardspl my phone with it.. hope it works...will update in a few after the installation is done... downloading so slow... =(

I made it, use SoftSPL.
right i have the g3 model with a german rom on so i wanted to upgrade i'll tell u what i did, 1st off i put fone into bootlader mode then run the rru for the hardspl, that said it had done so then i did the exact same thing to put the shadow 1.0 rom on and when it completed it wont come out of bootloader mode.... any help????
oh also dont know if this helps when i was flashing it didnt come up with any info in the rom version for my phone?

Ok. i had the same problem.. SO wot i did was to redo all the steps of flashing a rom. I did the hardspl all new... and then flashed a radio rom... nd then wm6.1 ro m of my choice it worked
