i updated my s200 with a crossbow rom and now its dead
the update was sucssfull but when i push the power button the screen fliker for les than one sec and that it
my s200 will not go even to bootloader
any ideas ?

i have a G3 idont it was 2.20 i think
plz check again if its 2.20 or 2.21 and hope that its 2.20^^

mh you have g3 ... try the solution out that i mentioned before and try the cid unlock from pdamobiz.com... then reflash an older rom with spl/ipl.
edit:
the pdambiz can only be flashed when you are in align screen... if you have 2.21 take a wizard rom and go into align screen with active sync connection and flash the cid unlock rom.
if you have 2.20 then just try another prophet rom out and see if it works...

sorry that its in german but its the only one I have right now... you can also change the language with some programm which is available here in the board..spl and ipl is included and it should downgrade you pda to 2.09
its an original shipped rom, they are always for g3 and g4 right? it doesn't say anything about that, anyways i used it on my g4 and it worked so you might wanna check out before as you have a g3 device, but I'm pretty sure it works for g3 and g4
so i maneged to get my s200 into bootloader
i now i have IPL 1.01 and SPL 1.01 but my device is G3
so i tried to flash RUU_Prophet_220734_2207114_024721_QtekWWE_Ship.exe
and its start and when it reached 95% igot an error that says
"ERROR 326 ivalid command, the nfb file cannot be used with your pda phone
and one got and idea what to do ????
just now i tried to flash "RUU_Prophet_2090732_20907115_020720_QtekGER_Ship.e xe" and it fail at the first time
so i tried again and it sucsess
and now my qtek work again
i am verey happy

I had the same problem with my JAMin. I messed up trying to flash it with a home-made ROM and the tool used to build the ROM put two G4 SPLs instead of one G3 and one G4. This caused my G3 JAMin to have a G4 SPL. It wouldn't boot past the "rainbow screen" and the IPL and SPL levels were similar to what you have now.
The solution for me was to have it repaired under warranty :roll:
My charmer is still under problem.
Actually problem is that.. My phone is G3 chipset.. but someone flashed it with G4 flash files.
and Its spl and ipl is 2.xx.xxx and phone is detect as G4 chipset.. but phone is G3..
NOW ANYONE can guide me how I can write G3 Ipl/spl

As I mentioned my JAMin was repaired under warranty. When it was returned to me they had replaced the main board. So it seems to be quite a problem to re-write the SPL if it has been flashed with the wrong type.
The new board has the G4 flash memory, so no more unlocking/downgrading adventures for me

Extract the RUU_Charmer_2060227_20602110_021921_T-MobileUK_Ship to a folder on your pc, than Extract the file i attached ("ROMUpdateUtility_Wizard_NoID.exe") into this folder. than connect your charmer to pc and double click on "ROMUpdateUtility_Wizard_NoID.exe".
cross your fingers.

Hi,
Yes You may be right, we need a ROM with only G3 IPL/SPL or only G3 SPL and if we can force this G3 SPL (I think JAFWM can do it but not sure) into the phone the problem will be solved.
But Question is where can we find this "RUU_Charmer_1120223_11202110_11220_T-MobileUK_Ship" as it is not available on net, the file on FTP is corrupt.
"RUU_Charmer_2060227_20602110_021921_T-MobileUK_Ship" have both G3 & G4 IPL/SPL and when we write this ROM into phone it writes G4 IPL/SPL as Phone is detected having G4 by every software.
Otherwise the only option left is "JTAG" but only one guy (ARC but he lives in Russia) know the test points for Charmer.
I solved this problem before using JAFWM dongle
just uncheck skip ipl/spl and try flash
it will flash ur mobile with the correct IPL and SPL

can u please confirm me that you had same problem of G4 SPl on G3 DOC.
Because JAFWM detects my phone as G4 DOC and the ROM you mentioned has both G3 & G4 SPL so I think It will try to write G4 SPL not G3.

just detect ur phone in JAFWM , chose the nk file for ur charmer , uncheck skip ipl/spl then flash
in that way i think ur mobile will be revived again

BTW, how do you know if your machine is G3 or G4? By looking if your unit is P200 or P300? And to confirm,

I today installed the RUU_Prophet_220734_2207114_024721_NVID Rom on my existing Smart 1v2 it went fine but then at 95% it stopped saying .nbf file not supported with ur model now it only opens in bootloader mode n when i tried the JAMin orignal ROm JAMin_213923_2139126_022021_ship it says get a new one

Put the device into bootloader and flash with an official ROM.
The device only opens in bootloader now n by da way i cannot use my imate official Rom so which should i try now............
Try downloading the official i-mate Jamin ROM. When you've downloaded the ROM skip the first to steps. Before it checks the device reset the device so you will have an USB connection. If you wait to long the USB connection gets lost.
You did a mistake when you upgrade to the useless 3.08 IPL SPL, I think you have less feature now with official ROMs
You can't flash your phone with any official NBF (ROM) unless you unlock the CID, to downgrade IPL SPL
Unlock your CID I think you have a G3 device and you can install any ROM you want, if you don't what G3 mean, look what G device you have in the WIKI
If you have G4 the only solution is Extract the NBF and make a new one without IPL SPL and you can install any ROM you want
But you didn't brick your phone ask before any step you will make before you brick it

try to upgrade to latest Radio Rom and then try to upgrade the latest rom u would see its running ok

i have only seen one change n its that I cant get my imate rom back without editing it n removing IPl Spl from it...............

i think maybe the wm6 rom cht have the problem , then make the machine cannot finish to flash the system.
I may have solution but I'm afraid to post it here, and one has the strength to test it.
it will writ the SPL using pdocwrit;, but I'm afraid cause when read the SPL it will have the same begining of the SPL in nk.nbf but after a while it will have diffreneces, but when I read the SPL using r2sd command it will have the smae SPL in nk.nbf
and I have harmless SPL solution it will have the same version 3.08 but it will be the same as 2.20 if anyone intrested in this please answer me

this will upgrade to version 3.09.
if done succefuly this new 3.09 has the same functions of 2.20 SPL
so if one has unlocked G3 with 3.08 and success to upgrade 3.09 (2.20) please try to unlock CID the device and to install the 2.20
and if it works with G4 device this 3.09 has the same funtions of 2.20 and the device will be again PM300
till working in pdocwrite I hope this will work for now

cause it will flash firt SPL then new splash screen and new HTC Logo in order.

what is the diference between 2.20 and 3.08,i mean functions?
the functions in 2.20 is for prophet hardware and 3.08 are for charmer hardware and there is of course defference between them
3.09 is for prophet hardware the same as 2.20 and you can stay with it for your prophet

Custom build rom will not flash as your phone has IPL 1.xx,it must have IPL 2.xx and it shud be CID unlocked.Wm5 will not boot up as the original Bootloaders have changed,when you flashed Buttons rom to downgrade.
Now reflash Button's Rom 1.05 again in bootloaders and use lokiwiz02b to SIM/CID unlock the phone,after SIM/CID unlocking,upgrade to IPL/SPL 2.xx by flashing T-mobile 2.26,only after that it'll upgrade to any wm6 or 6.1 rom.But if you want to flash official vodaphone rom,download the official rom and flash it in Bootloaders.

right i have the g3 model with a german rom on so i wanted to upgrade i'll tell u what i did, 1st off i put fone into bootlader mode then run the rru for the hardspl, that said it had done so then i did the exact same thing to put the shadow 1.0 rom on and when it completed it wont come out of bootloader mode.... any help????
oh also dont know if this helps when i was flashing it didnt come up with any info in the rom version for my phone?

Ok. i had the same problem.. SO wot i did was to redo all the steps of flashing a rom. I did the hardspl all new... and then flashed a radio rom... nd then wm6.1 ro m of my choice it worked
