Need Charmer SD_BACKUP (r2sd) with IPL & SPL

Hi,
Please can anyone help me. I desperately need MDA Compact 2 (HTC CHARMER) SD Rom backup with IPL & SPL.
My PPC is in bootloader mode due to wrong upgrade.
IPL 2.06
SPL 2.15.0001

you can use the updater from bootloader, I did without activesync

My Bootloader is Corrupt.
Actually My PPC has a G3 DOC and SPL is of Now G4 DOC.
It is connecting in bootloader mode but not allowing any upgrade.
The only option is "r2sd backup of SPL"
Can u help me?

Please remember that the prophet ROM is NOT compatible with the charmer !

Sorry to bother you,but I see you have a prophet too
Could you be so kind to create an SD image of the prophet too (including ipl&spl) so I can restore one of my broken Prophet and upload it here so other people who have this problem can be helped ?

My prophet is G4, so it can only cause more damage to your phone. but i will look for someone with a G3 prophet, to backup his rom with SD. if i will find, i will let you know.

No problem, this forum helped me a lot, so i glad to give back to pepole here.

Its not working
today I got a 256MB MMC Card because SD Card was not available.
I tried it but nothing happend.
Can it be that the card must be SD and model and manufacturer must be same or something wrong with the backup image.
I then tried making SPL image from shiped ROM by typhoneNBFtools.pl on the same card but the message was "Update Not Allowed"
Please help.

did u CID ulock your phone? you must do that before flashing with SD.

I used Lokiwiz to unlock it, but I dont know it worked or not.
After this wrong update (Prophet Custom Rom for G4) the SPL is now of G4.
I am now facing the same proble as Jester (G4 SPL on G3 DOC).
As G3 & G4 DOC structure is different so its not booting to OS and even not allowing any G3 SPL to load.
I even tried Wizard Roms, Prophet Recent Roms and even Jester's ROM but my IPL & SPL stayes same as.

SPL 2.15.0001.
Dont know what to do more ?

I've investigated deeper, and if you have a G3 with an G4 SPL you are screwed, the only way to recover is to do a hardware level fix, that is to move the flash chip to a good G3 with the correct SPL still in memory and then flash it, then move the chip back into your phone.
in short:
NEVER, EVER MIX the IPL/SPL of ANY G3 or G4 device, you will brick your phone !

Not yet, untill I get my SMD tools here, I might be able to do it
but it's very hard.
P.S.
SMD tools = hardware soldering tool, you can't fix your phone with software only.

qtek s200 help!!!

i updated my s200 with a crossbow rom and now its dead
the update was sucssfull but when i push the power button the screen fliker for les than one sec and that it
my s200 will not go even to bootloader
any ideas ?

i have a G3 idont it was 2.20 i think

plz check again if its 2.20 or 2.21 and hope that its 2.20^^

mh you have g3 ... try the solution out that i mentioned before and try the cid unlock from pdamobiz.com... then reflash an older rom with spl/ipl.
edit:
the pdambiz can only be flashed when you are in align screen... if you have 2.21 take a wizard rom and go into align screen with active sync connection and flash the cid unlock rom.
if you have 2.20 then just try another prophet rom out and see if it works...

sorry that its in german but its the only one I have right now... you can also change the language with some programm which is available here in the board..spl and ipl is included and it should downgrade you pda to 2.09
its an original shipped rom, they are always for g3 and g4 right? it doesn't say anything about that, anyways i used it on my g4 and it worked so you might wanna check out before as you have a g3 device, but I'm pretty sure it works for g3 and g4

so i maneged to get my s200 into bootloader
i now i have IPL 1.01 and SPL 1.01 but my device is G3
so i tried to flash RUU_Prophet_220734_2207114_024721_QtekWWE_Ship.exe
and its start and when it reached 95% igot an error that says
"ERROR 326 ivalid command, the nfb file cannot be used with your pda phone
and one got and idea what to do ????

just now i tried to flash "RUU_Prophet_2090732_20907115_020720_QtekGER_Ship.e xe" and it fail at the first time
so i tried again and it sucsess
and now my qtek work again

1.Yes i flashed g4 thing into g3 model
2.No i can't because the screen was black, with some white light flashing and the power, bluetooth LEDs kept flashing with black screen.I tried to get into the bootloader mode, but no way...it gives the same black screen with blinking LEDs

No you should not. Since their is no difference whatsovever during normal use. So why should you?

No need to update, there comes no known improvement with the higher IPL/SPL version. And with G4 devices you cannot downgrade anymore once you have the latest version on it. My advice do not update, but you are free to deceide. I will stick with my present version.

resolder the g3 chip, it costs about $70 to make and never ever touch your ipl/spl again.

I today installed the RUU_Prophet_220734_2207114_024721_NVID Rom on my existing Smart 1v2 it went fine but then at 95% it stopped saying .nbf file not supported with ur model now it only opens in bootloader mode n when i tried the JAMin orignal ROm JAMin_213923_2139126_022021_ship it says get a new one

Put the device into bootloader and flash with an official ROM.

The device only opens in bootloader now n by da way i cannot use my imate official Rom so which should i try now............

Try downloading the official i-mate Jamin ROM. When you've downloaded the ROM skip the first to steps. Before it checks the device reset the device so you will have an USB connection. If you wait to long the USB connection gets lost.

You did a mistake when you upgrade to the useless 3.08 IPL SPL, I think you have less feature now with official ROMs
You can't flash your phone with any official NBF (ROM) unless you unlock the CID, to downgrade IPL SPL
Unlock your CID I think you have a G3 device and you can install any ROM you want, if you don't what G3 mean, look what G device you have in the WIKI
If you have G4 the only solution is Extract the NBF and make a new one without IPL SPL and you can install any ROM you want
But you didn't brick your phone ask before any step you will make before you brick it

try to upgrade to latest Radio Rom and then try to upgrade the latest rom u would see its running ok

If you have install IPL/SPL 3.08 ... no downgrade in the moment!

Wats the advantage of this IPL SPL 3.08
i have only seen one change n its that I cant get my imate rom back without editing it n removing IPl Spl from it...............

rom before. i try this rom can complete to fixed the bootloader screen!

i think maybe the wm6 rom cht have the problem , then make the machine cannot finish to flash the system.

Or you can use this ROM http://tom-love.net/Rom/Prophet/WM6.0/Prophet_PV_Temp.zip. It only has AKU2.20 OS and 10MB free Ext_ROM .

instead flashing it with the ROM given.i cook another NVID ROM,remove the ipl/spl ,and....successful!!!
now i'm using smart1 v3 ROM,gee...a 24hour shock..

please, somebody can cook me a french rom with the ipl and spl rejected because I have the same probleme and now my prophet is blocked in the bootloader with IPL 2.15.0001 and SPL 2.20.0001
If somebody make on for me it will be very cool.

I have not got any FRE ROM so I can't, but I can show you how to cook:
- Use typho5.exe to extract ROM file nk.nbf into *.nb files:
Usage in cmd MSDOS: typho5 -x nk.nbf
- You can remove: IPL.nb, SPL.nb
- Use nb2nbf.exeto build rest *.nb files into nk.nbf file with address as follows:
9b000000-Extension.nb: 9B000000
96000000-GSM.nb: 96000000
80040000-OS.nb: 80040000
92000000-Splash.nb: 92000000
9d000000-HTC: 9D000000

But my problem now is with nb2nbf
What I must write in model ID, Langage, OEM Version, Operator version and CID.

You can put "PM300" or "PROPHET" without quotation marks
B'cauze your ROM is French so you can choose "FRE"
OEM, Operation and especially CID you must leave blank.

Again, somewhere in this forum, both tools mentioned upstair were given and the instructions were in more details.

I had similar situation. I flashed succesfully to smart v1.3, and couldn't downgrade. Just to be precise I need some answers/confirmations:
1. Flashing with smart v1.3 is done from Align Screen of NoVendorID ROM. Is this correct?
2. Flashing of RadioROM is done from BootLoader?
3. Latest RadioROM is ...?
