I today installed the RUU_Prophet_220734_2207114_024721_NVID Rom on my existing Smart 1v2 it went fine but then at 95% it stopped saying .nbf file not supported with ur model now it only opens in bootloader mode n when i tried the JAMin orignal ROm JAMin_213923_2139126_022021_ship it says get a new one
PLZZZzzzzzzz someone help cuz Imate has only released this ROM............

try several times...sure it will work

Which rom should i try the NVID one or my JAMin ROm

Dude i tried like 7 or 8 times everytime i get the same errors
for the NVID I GET at 95 % this error
Error [326] INVALID COMMAND
this NBF file cannot be used for your PDA phone.Please check your NBF file.
for the imate rom i get at the beginning
rror [296] Upgrade only
This NBF cannot be used for your phone.Please get newer NBF.

Put the device into bootloader and flash with an official ROM.

The device only opens in bootloader now n by da way i cannot use my imate official Rom so which should i try now............

Try downloading the official i-mate Jamin ROM. When you've downloaded the ROM skip the first to steps. Before it checks the device reset the device so you will have an USB connection. If you wait to long the USB connection gets lost.

You did a mistake when you upgrade to the useless 3.08 IPL SPL, I think you have less feature now with official ROMs
You can't flash your phone with any official NBF (ROM) unless you unlock the CID, to downgrade IPL SPL
Unlock your CID I think you have a G3 device and you can install any ROM you want, if you don't what G3 mean, look what G device you have in the WIKI
If you have G4 the only solution is Extract the NBF and make a new one without IPL SPL and you can install any ROM you want
But you didn't brick your phone ask before any step you will make before you brick it

Yes i have a G3 device n how can i unlock the CID plz tell me the steps n I will do as you will say...............

Ive searched in wiki but the unlocking has been tried on ipl spl 2.09-2.20
would it work on my stupid IPL SPL 3.08
Dude just gimme all the steps i should do now n the links for any softs I need if u can n Plz tell me how can i get rid of this stupid IPL SPL 3.08 Again

No - once you have upgraded ipl/spl you are stuck with them. Do not got to v 3.08!!!

Doesnt matter now if im stuck well it WORKED my JAMin is again alive Thanks a lot again for telling me the link n thanks a lot for helping everyone out with the nb2nb tools n stuff n all the instructions n thanks to everyone for their advices All u senior members rock...........................

try to upgrade to latest Radio Rom and then try to upgrade the latest rom u would see its running ok

Highes IPL/SPL Versions win!
If you have install IPL/SPL 3.08 ... no downgrade in the moment!

Wats the advantage of this IPL SPL 3.08
i have only seen one change n its that I cant get my imate rom back without editing it n removing IPl Spl from it...............

u try try this method.
i found the solution. i get this <RUU_Prophet_220734_2207114_024721_NVID>
rom before. i try this rom can complete to fixed the bootloader screen!

i think maybe the wm6 rom cht have the problem , then make the machine cannot finish to flash the system.

Need Help

Okay I want windows mobile 6. Whatever reliable working version I can get. I need to apparently unlock the CID and Sim unlock the phone? Carrier is T-mobile. I'm not new to registries, etc. I created my own Iphone theme with all the great perks (just for fun) even so I'm not new to hacking a phones appearance, but everything else like flashing, etc. I'm new to. I'm good at figuring things out though.
But I reviewed multiple threads and just don't get it, which one do I use?
So if anyone can help me out, please do. I have all the roms for the new 6.5 and all that but the only thing is NONE are english or say what version itll change to, etc. Any help is appreciated.

I UNLOCKED CID AND SIM UNLOCKED PHONE
NOW I NEED A GOOD VERSION OF WINDOWS MOBILE I GUESS

If you have followed this guide & you have managed to flash T-Mobile 2.26 rom (step G3.7) you can flash every rom that you can found here with safety. As you will see it is recommended to fully charge your phone first & use Windows XP for flashing & not Vista. Good luck.-

I tried the 2.26 rom to flash it from 1.08... All it does is switches to the green red whtie or blue screen and then wont flash or install the rom...

What guide have you followed to CID & SIM unlock your phone?
Did you flash Button Rom?
After flashing Βutton Rom if I remember right you must have IPL/SPL 1.05
Then you can flash 2.26
This is what I have done.-

I'm running vista if that's the problem.. But I tried flash button rom and that just gives me an end process error. I dont have 1.06 but 1.08
Let me try the link you sent me it is different.

You can take a look here too.
Read the procedure
I think that maybe you have not yet CID/SIM unlocked your phone.
Be carefull. If you are not CID/SIM unlocked & you are trying to flash a rom different from the one that came with the phone, you can brick your device.
Read very carefully the guides & follow them step by step.-

It's hit and miss with Vista. I have Vista 64 and cannot get it to work so I have 1 computer in the house that has XP just for flashing my 8125.

Trying to upgrade to win 6.1 but somehow fails..

Im using a Qtek S200 G4 and Im a newbie.
Ive tryed to install Windows mobile 6.1 and the ROM patching seems to be successfull but when the phone reboots I cant get through the BOOT screen (three colors). I believe I´ve follow guides correctly. Now I have reinstalled the defualt rom for this phone again and it works fine.
I´ve also patched the phone with HardSPL G4.
The ROMs ive tryed ton install:
wm61_korand_3_1
RomProphetManila2D Diamond
Any suggestions?

Does no one have a solution for me?

if you have already hardspl your device can you post what comes up in first boot screen Mine is like this

With my phone you can see that the hardspl was successful because it displays

I've got this big problem.
I can't flash any rom to my wizard.
My pc just freezes :S
And unlocking doesn't work either, but I think it's already unlocked.
Some more detail:
SPL: 1.06
IPL: 1.01
Wizard ROM: (now) Windows Mobile 5.0 - I want a upgrade to WM 6.5
Computer OS: Windows 7.
I hope you guys can help me!

With IPL and SPL 1.xx you can unlock your Wizard if it is not unlocked already. To check the CID-Lock you may use WST (WizardServiceTool).
If you want to flash a ROM you should use an XP PC. I would never use Vista or Win7! Take XP and everything will work fine!

I need ur help, I've HTC Wizard 3g and i had good readings over tutorials are given in the forum like Definitive guide and others.
I Succesfully have upgraded Radio to 2.69.11 and IPL/SPL 3.08 but when i flash ROm wm6.1 or Wm6.5 it completes process but when phone starts it gives the same wm5 what am i missing? can anybody tell ? I flash using RUU utility i tried Default [HTC Wizard][ROM][WM6.1][WWE/PLK] H3r5 - final version! it completed than i tried MSD-Wizard-WM6.5-23085 but everytime it starts with Wm5 ? what's wrong with it ?

i've gone through that post but couldn't get clear idea....let me know that what am i missing ? i've read in many tutorial that if you've IPL- 3.08
SPL- 3.08 Radio- 02.69.11 , then you're ready to flash any rom 6.xx but what's wrong with my device ?

I think your wizard is CID Locked, well im not pretty sure.. you have tried to unlock it?

Yeah you're right i've done it ...im enjoy new roms .... it was CID lock problem finally i got rid of it thank you for ur help.....

NOTE: If you tried to flash a G3 rom with IPL/SPL in the rom on a G4 you probably will have a bricked device! DON'T flash the new 3.08 and 3.09 IPL/SPL to your G4!

I like H3r7-beta. He never posted a final version of it, but it works nicely. In spite of having newer phones, I still use my Wizard with H3r7 most consistently because it is the most reliable, and with H3r7 it is also my fastest phone.

But i think ANgle Final is ever best....i keep changing rooms after using for a few days till yet i found Angle Roms are the best very fast very lite and very stable..

Yes, Angel-Final is good, too! We have had several very excellent Wizard ROMs over the years.
