So it's ok,the bootloader is patched.now,i have windows mobile 6,and i want to install the ROM "tir 8k ITA",from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=437860 and i read it was windows mobile 6.1
So my question is:do i have to upgrade to wm 6.1 and then flash the rom or i just do it without upgrading?Thnks bye
No you don't. The ROM you're looking at will install 6.1 for you. Read his instructions on that link and if you have a problem, post it in that thread.

Each chef will let you know if they included the radio or not. If they didn't include one, they will tell you which one is recommended and more than likely will give you a link to that radio....hope this helps...

Most roms come with a radio but some don't, read the rom thread and then go here to flash the recommended radio.

Perfect now i flash the radio and then i reboot and then i flash the ROM with the tir 8k?Can i let the pda turn on after installing the radio or this may cause problems?Gr8 Thanks bye

Please read the flashing first ROM http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=433835 all the steps are there.
If you're flashing a WM6.1 rom you may also want to change your hardSPL from 1.0.OliPof to one of the 3.xx series SPL's. The older SPL can cause some newer roms to hang, slow down etc. I use SPL3.29 which works fine form most WM6.1 roms.

flash the 3.xx spl the same why you flashed 1.0...it wont format ur device, meaning all your "stuff" will still be there...no need to re-flash the rom..

Well,before i reflashed the tir 8k rom and hardspl, i had the default rom with windows mobile 6.i have as phone operator TIM and so the sim card is TIM.but when it turned on it was always used to connect to 3g tim,which is not my connection,because i have a TIM sim card.so i realised that if i would have installed the new rom no brand,i could have connected to the TIM connection,NOT 3g TIM connection.Why still it connects to 3g tim even if i flashed the no brand rom?Why it behaves like before when it was brand 3?Help i explained better...Thanks bye

Hi all,
I am having troubles updating my radio rom. This device has been a beta pre lease.
Current version is:
R: 0.24.00.05 (believe it or not...)
G: 22.23.40.00H
D: 1.56.00.00
I was able to load the kaiser cooked rom (but radio and camara are not working properly). I have Hard SPL for Kaiser loaded.
I've tried many roms, but they all fail at 95% with error [262]. And then I have to reload the cooked rom to get the system working again.
Anyone any suggestions?

do you have a Kaiser?
I don't think that is the correct radio for Kaiser ROMs. If so there may be special stuff cooked into the original ROM, just like the ATT Roms which use a specific radio.

that is not a Kaiser rom!! I'm surprised you didnt brick your device lol! Make sure your trying to flash a Kaiser RUU_signed.nbh that has only a OS.nb inside and then flash the radio.nb later...

I know the radio is not compatible with the rom. That is why I want to update the radio.
It is just that the radio flash process hangs at 95%.

problem solved
At this location ftp://ftp.xda-developers.com/Uploads/Kaiser/Radio/ I found a rom similar to the existing in my device: 0.26.07.06. This one worked, and afther that I was able to flash the version I wanted: 1.27.12.11.
I'm happy. My device is up to date and very quick with Alex's Utra clean rom!

I have been followingthe in structions on how to to this i just want to run l26 diamond with the correct spl so it dosent freeze i get to the sspl-kaiser part and it goes to bootloader but my pc dosent find it when i run the custom ruu??says it fails to find usb or somthing. do i have the wong original att rom im trying to use

Once you run sspl and it goes to bootloader it should show USB on the bottom. Once it says that you need to unplug and then replug your device's usb connection. Then continue to the flashing part.

okay if i understand correctly, u already have hardspl?
spl's r not rom specific. ur phone comes with an spl and flashing roms over ur carriers spl can and will lead to u bricking ur phone.
now if u r trying to flash hardspl than follow instructions to the "t" and post back.

okay i will repeat that is a version of jumpspl; it has nothing to do with the rom. ROMS ARE NOT spl dependent. As long as you get hardspl onto your device (doesn't matter if you use jumpspl 1.93 or 1.5x, whichever one works) you can flash leos, dutty's, shogunmark's, kyphurs, _alex_'s anyones rom you want.
but the freezing issue is the reason i was doing all this im so confused now do i need to re hard spl my phone again to flash other roms what would be the purpose of soing what ive done then??? or are people just guessing at the stalling issue still?????

1.93 is actually a valid AT&T SPL it is the updated (although not the latest) one. So he might not be referring to jumpSPL even though there is also a version 1.93 of that (most probably based off the AT&T SPL).

I don't want to blow you off, but you should really go back and read the threads dealing with this to get a better understanding.. There are a few and they answer all the questions. If you are read them and still have questions or problems, post in those threads since continuing this thread is just more of the same.

when u mentioned 1.93 i thought u were referring to jump spl (thanks for clarrifying bengalih).
yes apparently going back to the att spl does fix freezes (can't confirm as i haven't tried) and if u need help with that post under relevant thread as bengalih suggested.
yes if u r going to flash a cooked rom u will need to reflash hardspl first.

Can anyone tell me how to change the radio of a flashed a rom. I've found some very nice rom's but each one has some flaws. The one I would like to use (Dutty's Official WM6.1 5.2.19209 + 32mb pp) has an issue with the camera which might be solved by changing the radio (If what i've read is correct).
When I flash my device, I tend to use the JUMP SPL (1.56 or 1.93) because I experience what is called "the white screen issue". (you can read everything about this at: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=354061). Hard SPL just won't work.
Questions:
- How to flash only the radio, keeping the selected ROM.
- Can I change the radio using "Jump SPL" or do I need another tool to unlock the device?
- Soms Roms, when using Jump SPL, just won't load. Why? Is there another way around this white screen issue?
- Is there an "idiot-proof" ROM-flashing guide?

With the JumpSPL you should NOT flash radio roms, OS roms or full roms! So, flash HardSPL with JumpSPL to unlock your Kaiser first, then you can go forward to flash radio.

Flashing a new radio will not affect your current ROM load. Do understand that you should make sure that the Radio you are flashing is compatible with the ROM build you are using currently. A good place to look is HERE and HERE. Much thanks to AlltheWay!!
Jump SPL > Hard SPL > Radio
Flash a radio only rom won't change the os rom installed on your device.
search for a thread called the ultimate radio rom by

dude sspl (jump spl) is not a wise choice... u should have a hardspl installed otherwise u can get bricked pretty easily

Hello,
KAISER (o2 realease.
Trying to flash to 6.1.
Sleuth V3 stops at 18% and Lex 26 Diamond V9 @ 16% - Installed as per the excllent Sleuth guidlines.
What am I doing wrong? - Being a newbie, I have suspicions the radio needs and upgrade however - Please can someone point me in the right directions.

pretty sure he missed the hardspl! use jockeyw hardspls if you want flashing wm 6.1 olipro will also work but its recommended to use a hardspl ripped from a wm 6.1 edition

Jump SPL is used for Flashing Hard SPL's only. If you have flashed Hard SPL already, then you just plug in your phone to your PC via USB and use the KaiserCustomRUU tool.
Or Flash from SD Card (Instructions in the Wiki).

Hey bro, I had the same problem. Figured out that you need to CID unlock the phone before you flash HardSPL. Fixed it for me. Good Luck!

Unless I'm suffering from amnesia, HardSPL IS the method for CID Unlocking.
I know, but I had to download & run the SID/CID unlocker for the hardSPL to work.

Hello all, I know there are many threads about downgrading to official ROM but none of them seems clear to me. Some of you could need downgrading to official ROM e.g. because of upgrading to WM6.5.x to prevent random hard-resets. So let's make clear about it...
To downgrade to official WM6.1 ROM you need:
1. ONLY if you have Radio 1.6x you need to flash Radio 1.58.x (e.g. official 1.58.21.23) + HardReset
2. Flash official WM6.1 ROM with radio included + HardReset
3. ONLY if you want to send it to warranty repair flash official SPL 3.13.0000 + HardReset
--- If you don't want to send your device to warranty repair DON'T FLASH official SPL because HardSPL is MUCH safer!

i think change 2 to 1
and if you have radio 1.65 flashed you must downgrade the radio to 1.58 first...because it stop´s flashing if you flash and have 1.65 radio
(in the past i must downgrade because i must send it to repair service (warranty)
Thanks for advice ;-) BTW it is necessary to flash back original SPL or there is no problem in using HardSPL v2 from Olipro (when you don't need to do the downgrade because of warranty)? And the Radio it must be really 1.58x? Or you can use 1.59x?

if you don´t want to send in repair you can use HardSPL v2 from Olipro...
you must only flash radio 1.58 if you have 1.65 on the phone

in the past i try some 1.59.X to flash it over 1.65.X and it don´t flash but it was not 1.59.46.12 so it can be that this will also go
