Upgrading Dopod rom problem.

Hi,
I have upgraded my dopod rom using this file RUU_Prophet_2151327_21513121_021921_DOP_ASIA_WWE_Ship.exe from the xda developers ftp.
After upgrading I found that the version number is incorrect
IPL 1.00
SPL 2.15.0000
I have tried reflashing with the same rom several time but the version number for IPL remains the same.
How can I upgrade the IPL correctly?
Where can I find the upgrade for IPL/SPL 2.15.0001?

I cannot flash my dopod 818 pro ROM...it said that I have wrong type of device :?: :?: :?: :?:

Did you guys CID unlock first?

Hi it appears that I have made the same mistake.

The rom I flash last time for my O2 XDA neo was RUU_Prophet_2151327_21513121_021921_DOP_ASIA_WWE_Ship-NoVendorID. No CID unlocking is neccesary, and the procedure of flashing is as easy as installing a software.

You don't need .0001
AFAIK, the number depends of G3 or G4 mainborad hardware version. .0000 means that you have G3. Let it be, and don't touch if it works well.

I also have the same problem. My IPL seems 1.00 and I'm looking for the 2.15.0001.
I'm totally sure I have the device CID unlock, why? I can Install ROM from i-mate, Qtek and Dopod.
I tryed many days, many hours nad still working.
Please give me a help, a hand, please. Thank you in advance.

h to everybody, i 've tried to flash my C600 whith platinum edition and when i'll arrive to a finish at 100% in blue colors the device it was in orange colort start after that it is blocked in bootloader mode

where do you get the original mfr ROM?

From your manufacturer website

here in italy we don'te have a orange . but my c600 it's completly blocked,
it's a firt time i've this problem
and now i'm very strange situation----

Prblem during update to new ROM of Vodafone

Hi everyone,
my PDA (VPA Compact 2) is shutting down during every updateprocess (at 80%).
I try it a few time, but everytime the same problem.
WM5 ist not starting.
Everything I can see is the bootloader.
IPL 1.05
SPL 2.21
Can somebody help me?
What can I do?

Custom build rom will not flash as your phone has IPL 1.xx,it must have IPL 2.xx and it shud be CID unlocked.Wm5 will not boot up as the original Bootloaders have changed,when you flashed Buttons rom to downgrade.
Now reflash Button's Rom 1.05 again in bootloaders and use lokiwiz02b to SIM/CID unlock the phone,after SIM/CID unlocking,upgrade to IPL/SPL 2.xx by flashing T-mobile 2.26,only after that it'll upgrade to any wm6 or 6.1 rom.But if you want to flash official vodaphone rom,download the official rom and flash it in Bootloaders.

help stuck in bootloader

right i have the g3 model with a german rom on so i wanted to upgrade i'll tell u what i did, 1st off i put fone into bootlader mode then run the rru for the hardspl, that said it had done so then i did the exact same thing to put the shadow 1.0 rom on and when it completed it wont come out of bootloader mode.... any help????

oh also dont know if this helps when i was flashing it didnt come up with any info in the rom version for my phone?

UPDATE*** just run the hardspl on the bootlader screen and now when it boots i get the qtek splash screen? but nothing else

Ok. i had the same problem.. SO wot i did was to redo all the steps of flashing a rom. I did the hardspl all new... and then flashed a radio rom... nd then wm6.1 ro m of my choice it worked

I need ur help, I've HTC Wizard 3g and i had good readings over tutorials are given in the forum like Definitive guide and others.
I Succesfully have upgraded Radio to 2.69.11 and IPL/SPL 3.08 but when i flash ROm wm6.1 or Wm6.5 it completes process but when phone starts it gives the same wm5 what am i missing? can anybody tell ? I flash using RUU utility i tried Default [HTC Wizard][ROM][WM6.1][WWE/PLK] H3r5 - final version! it completed than i tried MSD-Wizard-WM6.5-23085 but everytime it starts with Wm5 ? what's wrong with it ?

i've gone through that post but couldn't get clear idea....let me know that what am i missing ? i've read in many tutorial that if you've IPL- 3.08
SPL- 3.08 Radio- 02.69.11 , then you're ready to flash any rom 6.xx but what's wrong with my device ?

I think your wizard is CID Locked, well im not pretty sure.. you have tried to unlock it?

Yeah you're right i've done it ...im enjoy new roms .... it was CID lock problem finally i got rid of it thank you for ur help.....

NOTE: If you tried to flash a G3 rom with IPL/SPL in the rom on a G4 you probably will have a bricked device! DON'T flash the new 3.08 and 3.09 IPL/SPL to your G4!

I like H3r7-beta. He never posted a final version of it, but it works nicely. In spite of having newer phones, I still use my Wizard with H3r7 most consistently because it is the most reliable, and with H3r7 it is also my fastest phone.

But i think ANgle Final is ever best....i keep changing rooms after using for a few days till yet i found Angle Roms are the best very fast very lite and very stable..

Yes, Angel-Final is good, too! We have had several very excellent Wizard ROMs over the years.
