Hi chaps hope your all well...first time on a forum and not sure if i'm in the right place...please could someone help...i bought a xiomi mi 4 a week ago...everything works great...i installed google play ok but it wont open...it's as if it is starting to open for a second then closes...something blocking it perhaps? i see there are various settings but i tried altering them to no avail..maybe i missed something...please can someone point me in the right direstion...kev...sunderland...england...thankyou ^__^

what version of MUIU are you running? I had the same issue on 12.12 when i installed play store the first time. After deleting google framework services and play store and reinstalling it, for some strange reason everything worked fine. So just give it a try.
I bough this phone in 11/2016 on tinydeal,german warehouse,and stareted oroblems with pop adds ,comerrcials,trying phone to install some apps etc.I scanned and many AV apps found same. 3malwares,one in FILE MANAGER,2nd in XIAOMI SCWEATHER APP ,and 3rd in XIAOMI NOTEOAD APP,,and it is not possible remove any of them with malware and any AV,program,,also spy.thief.sms.de is found,and phone is bought from german warehouse,,can u help me what to do.thanks,,
Also i contacted them,but they want to get on time,once sens us video,another time no answer,etc etc,,even refund me mony to give someone to solve prob.

I have a huawei body fat scale wifi version, I did'nt know that this was a chinesse version, and now I cant return it and I dont know how to sync it. In Healt APP, there is only the bluetooth version available. There is any solution? or can I use the chinesse app?

Just in case anyone had this problem. install the chinese beta version. Update it and everything will be ok. You can sync all the devices. And will have more option.
Hello, I'm wondering if it is possible to switch from the Hiboard news feed to Google news feed, after GMS is installed? I've seen a thread for doing this on Mate 20 (on the link below), though as you know, that phone still supports Google, whereas Mate 30 Pro doesn't and I'm not sure what side-effects could occur. Has anybody already tried to change it?

Doesn't work.
You can still disable Hiboard with ADB but the Feed option does not appear afterwards.
I understand And has anybody tried and succeeded making it work any other way?

I have searched far and wide and I can not find any decent help on how to do this... mi 9t pro is my 5th xiaomi phone and after some system upgrade (maybe to MIUI 12) I have lost the ability to create direct dial widget.
Normally I would do it like so many guides show:
Open the Contacts app
Choose a contact
Open the menu
Tap on Place on Home screen
Choose View contact or Direct dial
Tap on OK
The problem is that the step 5 does not appear, it automatically creates a view contact shortcut. And I want Direct dial :/
Same problem with my latest Redmi note 9 pro, but still works okay on the aging Redmi note 7.
Any ideas or workarounds? Any 3rd party apps that can do this?

I have Mi 11 Lite 5G, and the Global Miui 12.0.8.
The bug's still there. Very annoying. As the OP wrote, you can place contacts on home screen, but you are not asked to choose between "View contact" and "Direct call".

I had the same issue on 11T. After changing to Poco Launcher, you can find, in Widgets, the Direct Dial button.
After updating to MIUI 13, Poco Launcher crashes.
