Question Unlock bootloader Oneplus 9 Global/NA - OnePlus 9

Has anyone unlocked the bootloader on oneplus 9 global? how to not lose Widevine L1, because I have tried many times but every time I unlock the bootloader my Oneplus 9 always loses L1 and it changes to L3

AFAIK there's no way to keep L1 while the bootloader is unlocked.

Yes. I'm unlocked and L1. You have to use magisk and zygisk to hide . Then l1 occurs.

Oh i didn't know that. Thanks

Yeah I have Widevine L1. I rooted C.48 global with Magisk 24.3, hid Magisk, installed Shamiko (because it's better than denylist), and installed Universal SafetyNet Fix.

This is for the 9 Pro but it's the same process (you will want to check both the 9 and 9 Pro forums because the 9 Pro is more active and devs will often just drop their thread there for both devices).

Do not flash 9.2.25 firmware yet. It can cause issues to the custom rom (Like HavocOS v2.2). Wait until the developer of a custom rom creates new update that can integrate and fully supports the Widevine L1 in the rom. There might be changes in the /vendor partition that the rom cannot fully supports.

Currently, Amazon Prime & Hotstar can both stream content in 1080P on your POCO phone. Unfortunately, Netflix is still not on board with but you can still download videos in best quality.
For me only hotstar is working. No HD in Netflix and Prime video.

Do they include the full vendor as they are based on xiaomi beta roms?
Or is flashing the original beta required?

Widevine leve L3 after installing Custom Rom Lineage OS 18.1

Yo guys, hope you are having an awesome day!
So the other day I rooted my phone, installed TWRP and installed Lineage OS 18.1 on my Oneplus 6..
The thing is - Now I realize that the Widevine level has been downgrade from L1 to L3 so apps which are crucial to me stopped working.
I have a couple of questions regarding this:
1. I understand that the mere unlocking of the the bootloader killed my drm keys. If that's so, is there an option to Unbrick my phone back to oOS , copy the drm keys (and everything related to widevine) --> Install custom rom and paste all the keys to their respected location thus having the DRM keys of a "locked" bootloader on my custom ROM?
2. Is there an Oneplus 6 Rom, based on android 11, that somehow has access to DRM keys and would give me both the benefit of Android 11 and Widevine leve L1?
3. Is there any way to fix the L3 level on my current rom? an app/module/anything that can take me back from L3 to L1?
thanks!
That will not happen. Stay on locked bootloader and OOS if L1 is a big deal to you.
I tried every rom and each time i lose widevine

Mine OP7 Pro stayed on Widevine L1 on Lineage OS18.1.
I had followed below steps but first of I had unlocked the bootloader.
"Steps to go enable Widevine L1 on custom ROMs :-
• Flash OOS 11 stable or any build from OB3 and above.
• Flash Magisk and enable Magisk hide.
• Reboot.
• Verify if you have L1 working using app like DRM info.
• Local upgrade OOS 11 stable or any build from OB3 and above (preferably same build).
• Reboot.
• Verify if you have L1 working using app like DRM info.
• Flash custom ROM and you should have L1 there as well."

Has anyone tried this ROM with Micro G? I am running Lineage 17 Micro G on my OnePlus 6t and battery is amazing!

install TWRP in oneplus 8

I want to root my oneplus 8. install TWRP recovery.
please anyone help me how to install TWRP in oneplus 8
I am using oxygen OS 11
Android version 11
Use fastboot to flash the TWRP image to recovery using the following command:
Code:
fastboot flash recovery [name of image].img
Keep in mind that this command will flash to your primary slot; if you'd like to flash it to both, replace "recovery" with "recovery_a" or "recovery_b", which are the names of the two partitions. Your bootloader also must be unlocked for this operation to work.
The link for the TWRP image can be found on XDA.

Yes will do that as soon as I have added working decryption for Oneplus 8 and 8 Pro.
Actually decryption should already work for all OP8 series unified ROMs like Pixel Blaster and FlamingoOS which are unified for OP8 series and Op9r und using FbeV2 decryption method.

Is there any reason to use the boot.img over just twrp flashing magisk? Seems a little complicated to me and also there's no boot.ing for the kb2007
If TWRP wasn't available, then patching boot and then flashing is the only way to root.
What do you mean by "hardware version is 13"? Screenshot?

Do u know where I can find patched boot.img for the tmobile kb2007 model if twrp don't work?
