I am trying with the July 2020 patch, it doesnt work. Always getting stuck at FAILED (remote: 'Unsupported Command').
Code:
fastboot devices
shows me my device, but running
Code:
fastboot flashing unlock
gives me that error.
How to root Nokia 6.2
It's failing on my, too, unfortunately. All I found was some paid service.

As long as you have the stock ROM, yes.
@amidabuddha: O yes, I almost forgot about that. Stock recovery is needed too.
I think you need a Stock recovery as well. Otherwise you can get stuck in a bootloop.
Sent from my Desire S
thanks for the reps, however when i try to go into recovery it says security warning?
Then you most probably have stock recovery.

Search for "security warning" in the forum, there are couple of threads and one of them has the solution as far as I remember
ive been searching for hours now and still cannot find the solution i checked in ROM manager it says ive got CWM 5.02.0 recovery, but it wont boot in to recovery still, just keeps saying Security warning, if someone could point me in the direction of a guide to flash to stock recovery back i would appreciate it as i should then be able to OTA?

You cannot downgrade at this time because of roll back protection.
I believe you should be able to unlock if you factory reset, skip setup, go straight to Developer Options and toggle the OEM unlock switch, then use fastboot to unlock

reset isn't going to change the Android build or the fact that its Verizon locked.
thank you for your answer. I'll wait for unlock command update. ?
I want to downgrade my bootloader so that TWRP will work again since I havent succeeded in getting it to work on the latest bootloader. However when I try to downgrade the bootloader fastboot gives me an "invalid bootloader" error.

As long as they are the same bootloader revision yes. Or if your bootloader is unlocked you can flash any firmware you like for your device

What firmware are you on now and what are you trying to downgrade to? You're being very vague in your question
I am using s10e, I have unlocked the bootloader, I have loaded the lineage pixel experience etc. Now I have loaded the stock rom and locked the bootloader, but the play store certificate and cts match failed, and the software update shows as up-to-date (although I am on the august version) what caused the problem?
