You cannot downgrade at this time because of roll back protection.
I believe you should be able to unlock if you factory reset, skip setup, go straight to Developer Options and toggle the OEM unlock switch, then use fastboot to unlock

reset isn't going to change the Android build or the fact that its Verizon locked.
thank you for your answer. I'll wait for unlock command update. ?

Just got my OnePlus One yesterday and I was gonna unlock the bootloader but there is a update out.
So my question is:
Do I update THEN unlock the bootloader?
Do I unlock the bootloader THEN update?
Does it matter?
Thank you

It doesn't matter - just unlock it before you install anything
Doesn't matter at all, as @spanna said. The bootloader can be unlocked no matter which build you're on.

Just need a yes or no. I've read tons of threads but can't get a simple yes or no. I inherited this phone so I couldn't unlock before taking an update. Can I root this phone:
Yes
or
No
No, you cannot currently root a Pixel on NMF26O with the default locked bootloader. The current root method requires an unlocked bootloader, and the exploit that previously allowed the Verizon bootloader to be unlocked does not work on NMF26O.
Can you flash back to OEM image and unlock then reflash new build then root?

No. You can't flash unless it is already unlocked.

Google Version Pixel. i have downloaded the unified android toolkit so i can unlock my bootloader, but i dont see the latest update on there? latest one i see in the toolkit is NMF26O and NMF26Q. Does this mean i am unable to unlock my bootloader?
You cannot unlock the bootloader on 7.1.1.

i thought if your on the google version your able to unlock bootloader? Verizon model is not able to unlock bootloader if you take the 7.1.1 update.
Why can't you? Google version allow OEM unlock in dev.options then reboot to fast boot and run fastboot oem unlock. Unless i missed something?

i was trying to use the toolkit to unlock my bootloader
Someone correct me here, but on Google version you don't need to use tool kit i think. I have not unlocked mine and am unsure, but from what i read it's quite literally allow oem unlock then fastboot oem unlock. Again, haven't done it yet so maybe I am off base here.

My apologies, I misread your original post as you having a "Google Verizon Pixel", not version.
Can I lock my bootloader again? Because I can't flash anythis, because FRP is locked, I think that is the problem why I can't flash no?And in the development settings enable oem unlock it's blocked and I can't switch the button...
Usually users report to do the rollback to MM and they get the phone locked and unrooted
Just like out of the box..
But in your case I would be more carefull since oem unlock can not be changed..
Let some more experiaced user tell you if you can do the rollback to MM evan with the
oem unlock not changed..
Use the adb command with the unlocking code you got

What to do with adb and unlocking code, because bootloader is unlocked, but i can t do anything, and i cannot enable oem unlock
I have answered similar question here. Now you have to flash rollback and after that B131 (everything as stock). Then you have to update to version you want to unlock and follow my steps.

Sorry, I thought I was answering someone else, there's lots of people talking about bootloader
Is it possible to root LG G710N on android 10 or will i have to go back to Oreo ULM before?
The simplest method is greatly appreciated.
Thanks in Advance
You must unlock bootloader success before think about root

That's where the problem is. I can't access my fastboot mode. Using adb reboot bootloader or holding volume - while phone starts up, nothing seems to work.
I also learnt bootloader is only unlockable on ULM and European versions. I have a Korean model.
Will cross-flashing to the European version help?
