So i Installed a game which requires further download after being installed, Then it just stuck at 0/100 i thought it just wasnt working in my region , however i tried installing it on another device (Samsung A7 2018 running android 9)in my home using the same WiFi , it worked and was downloaded??(downloaded from the same source)
So my thoughts are that for some reason my device just refuses to download from this app as some form of protecetion ? ? But why and how can it be fixed?
The app itself doesnt require any access so i think disabling Location wont do anything but i will try anyway.
Also , i couldnt find the files downloaded / data for it in android data or obb , all i find is 10mb file while the game data is 500~700 , so where to find these data to just send it to my phone .?
Im running android 9 Samsung A80 on latest software update.
If it helps the game is Legends of Runeterra
Sorry for mkaing this long , Thank you.

Hi guys,
I bought a tablet from the guys over at Allview. The price was decent and the tablet is nice, but the douchy problem is that they did not include the android marketplace. I need it.
The device runs a eclair (android 2.1) update 1. Is there any way to install the marketplace without rooting the device ? and If not, can the device be rooted ? It has no phone capabilities (no sim, no gps, no camera) so I have 0 ideea what tool to use, especially because i really have no ideea what happends when rooting.
The little i got informationwise is that i'd probably need to root it > connect it to pc, use the andorid debugging console to "push" the app into the system folder. Tried to install whatever vendor.apks I could find but since the "host" os was uncertain, it's probably why they could not be installed. Alas, i may be wrong. Can you please help me out ?
if you need more infor google allview or Alldro
Thanks a lot !

Here ya go! just download it to your destop, transfer it to you device via usb, or download it to android device and run it from there!
thanks a huge lot !!! I will try this out. if it cannot install it means I will probably have to root the damn thing
thought as much. it won't install. I'm using ES explorer to install it (my device is not rooted yet, as I mentioned before) and no luck.
EDIT 1: Also tried copy=pasting it into the system/app folder. it says android marketplace blablabla copy failed. Is it possible that I am dealing with a NAND lock ?
could be that system is mounted read only.
Do you have root?
nope, not yet. I;m trying to root it as we speak... so far still going through the steps
EDIT: trying this out: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=858952
so far i got to making the recovery image. for some idiotic reason however, I cannot do adb reboot recovery again ! it tells me error: protocol fault (no status)
my guess is that it doesn't like the recovery folder's name. else i don't get what's wrong ! I am going to rename the folder, and then attempt a second reboot-recovery. see if that works !
EDIT2: did not work. Could it be something else ?
ok i did it ! the problem was I had skipped rooting and forgot to add a few more params after doing the backup... whew ! that was a close call ! ffs !

Hi,
Is there such an app for the phone P2 from Allview?
Thank you in advance,
Poli
You will need to root your device to be able to push the vending apk into the system apps.
1. Root. its essential to do so.
2. Mount system partition r/w > google for adb commands on how to do that and adb in general
3. download the google apps provided above and either unzip and push vending apk to system/apps (not sure about the exact names, you'll have to see for yourself by using Root Explorer) . Restart phone > should work.
I tried to root the phone via pc and the software successfully rooted my phone and install the app on my pc .
when i use the app , i tried two options
optimize pc and remove buildin games in my phone
due to which my phone software corrupted .
please advice does that mean that when you delete and builtin file , the phone will corrupt ?
what went wrong here , as i didnt deleted any system files . i think optimize did the stuff. is my understanding correct ?

People here can help you only if you give details, such
s your device, android version, ROM, the app you used, etc.
Anyway Rooting doesn't corrupt anything, it merely gives you and various apps the administrator privilege
So that any files can be edited. This editing might cause issues if done carelessly...

No rooting program should install anything to your pc except for the kit to root it. You most likely got dupped into installing some spyware
hi guys.. i need help with my dad's phone,.
he bought this phone, which is used, from a 2nd hand shop. after he purchased it, he did not notice that playstore was installed.. even internet browser is not available. i tried to download via apk file , but my pc wont detect the phone.
so i used my micro sd card and copied the playstore.apk file. once inserted in the phone . i installed it , but when i tried to open it , it say application stopped.. i tried the same method but downloading google chrome.. the same problem occurs, 'google chrome has stopped' . so i tried to get on to recovery menu but it does not have recovery in it! it shows 'No data' .. is this some kind of scam ? did the seller block all access to my phone except call and message? i cant access to my pc via usb, recovery menu not working. any apps that uses internet will immediately close.. any ideas on how to overcome this? i have also tried downloading apptoide, still no luck..
im sorry about my messy English !
Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. Try flashing the stock firmware. Seer if this helps you, http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help/asus-zenfone-5-zenfone-6-to-t2839984
hello ,
i am hoping for some help . i have very little android experience and knowledge , but here is the info and problem i have on my mums tablet .
tablet is normally only used by her for emails and net surfing and has standard install and set up as it came out of the box . running android kitkat .
8 yr old grandson downloaded some free games and an app to run them ( i wasn't present for this so have no info on what he did or didn't do) , the next time the tablet was turned on a load of porn app icons had appeared on the home screen and the web browsers have been hijacked by rstep.xbkptek.com , and pop ups keep appearing with some zombie cartoon strip on them or bubble games , which then turn to porn . I have run malware removers and done a factory reset , but the web hijacker is still there and the trojan is still in the system apps (system/app/rstech_teni)
, it won't let me uninstall or disable it . someone suggested i look for the device on these forums to do a team win recovery and sidled the os back on . i have searched for the device and it isn't listed here , does anyone know how I can recover this device ?

Hello, and thank you for using XDA Assist!
It's possible the tablet got rooted with one of the apps, and the malicious app got moved to the system partition to be persistent. Or it could be, as a factory reset does not remove all files on the userdata partition, the malicious app(s) keep getting leveraged.
For the latter, it's just a situation of wiping everything on the userdata partition, and then doing a factory reset for safe measure. Can do that with connecting the device to a PC, using mass storage or MTP, and then going on a delete frenzy. You may need to force close some apps first though.
If it's the former, you will need a recovery image. This could be attained by contacting the manufacturer, and then flashing it the method they determine (as the method is different by OEM). There is another option if it is rooted, but it is risky if you don't know which app files are safe and which are not.
At any rate, please go ahead and create an XDA account, so you can post in other forums. You can try posting in the > General discussion > Questions and Answers > [HELP THREAD] Ask ANY Question. Noob Friendly thread. Anyone with general knowledge of all devices should be able to pick this one up for you.
Hope this helps, and good luck!
thank you , i have tried the latter 5 times and still have the problem trojan , so have contacted the manufacturer as suggested . I will create an account once i receive a reply
Good luck! Per RC request, this thread has been closed.
Hello Guys,
I have a Hilti Laser PD-C device that runs:
android: 4.1.2
build: sparky_silver_2.3.15
I want to note that all apps should be arm not x86 but Im not sure of the DPI.
This runs a special modified Hilti rom. I would love to be able to get a custom rom and add more apps. I am willing to toss some donations for this. Has anyone done anything with this device before?
**** Update: ****
I was able to get root access via PC version "KING_ROOT"
http://king.myapp.com/myapp/Kingroot/kingroot_pc/KingRoot_pc_en.exe
1. I downloaded the most current sdk for ADB
2. I also downloaded the Hilti update app.
www.hilti.com/updatepdc
3. I was able to use King_Root even while the app didnt see the device and it recognized the device after I clicked connect.
4. The main ROM is very difficult to get around. You cant just click an app you side-loaded. Download a launcher that matches the android version. I used smart launcher, no reason, just the first I found. Use ADB to sideload on to the device.
(adb install "app name") https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/smart...1-build-054-android-apk-download/#description
5. From here I got full control to the apps I sideloaded. I am still having issues with connecting to BT on my note9 for the internet.
It is what it is... But thanks for the help. I hope anyone else looking finds this.
