Android 10 system audio codecs change? - not bluetooth - OnePlus 7 Pro Questions & Answers

Hello,
I have a question is there an option to change audio system codecs? I am not talking about bluetooth codecs but system codecs in general.
My problem is with application Lego Boost. When I play sound it is slooooooooooowed and distorted but only on phones speakers. When I connect any bluetooth earphones sound is ok. Bluetooth uses LDAC so I guess that problem is that OnePlus uses some unsupported by application sound codecs.
Maybe there is some app that can change system sound codecs? I did not found any system settings for that.
I use 10.3.0 Android system.
Thanks in advance.

System and media sound stream to dlna

Hi!
Please read the full post before going away. Thanks!
There is a solution to stream all sound from my android phone to other android phone(s)? I mean i know some apps what is able to do that, but i have some problem with them:
BubbleUPnP:
If i start audio cast function, both a wav and an lpcm stream starts
If i want to connect to one of the streams, i get "connection time out" error with code 40 (i got it when i was connecting, not when it's already played the stream. i got it on pc with AIMP player)
If i try to connect to the lpcm or the wav stream, a message appears in my phone that says "Audio Cast already streaming. Stop the current playing client and retry""
If i start the audio cast, phone speakers turns off, but i want to hear the sounds on speaker or headphones besides it's playing on an other phone.
AirAudio:
If i start the audio cast, phone speaker turns off (and both headphones), but i want to hear the sounds on speaker or headphones besides it's playing on an other phone.
I have a Redmi 3S Prime with the latest MIUI 8 Global Dev rom, it's rooted with SuperSU and I have installed Xposed framework MIUI edition. BubbleUPnP is enabled in the Xposed Installer.
So do you have any idea what can i use for it, or what to do whit the above apps to do what i want?
Hey,
I fear it's sadly not possible to hear the audio on the source-device and on the receiver at the same time.
BubbleUPnP captures the audio via Xpose and sets the internal audio-stream to silence.
AirAudio uses Android's internal recording-mechanism and this one completely redirects the audio off the internal speaker to AirAudio.
You might ask Bubble's developer if he can add an option to not set the internal audio to silence.
With AirAudio's mechanism we have sadly no way to implement a workaround for this as this is related to Android's internal audio-routes.
Hope this helps

HW+ only plays audio in stereo

Hi,
I recently bought MX player pro. I use it in nvidia shield 2017.
I have also installed the https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/mx-player/mx-player-custom-codec-dts-support-t2156254 codec.
when I use hw+ decoder, my onkyo HT-S3800 produces stereo sound.
Thanks

It's intended behaviour. In fact it downsample to stereo as multi track audio out put was the only available on older Android versions.
Our development team is actively working on audio pass through to pass original audio to external device. Once it's implemented, you will be able to pass the true 5.1 to your external system.
Any update on this? Shield built-in player is passing AAC 5.1 audio just fine but not MX Pro.

Have you tried 1.9.10 with HW+ or SW?
In 1.9.10, if the HDMI receiver (Amplifier) reports the capability of AAC decoding it should use passthrough mode.
I am experiencing the same problem with 1.9.10 as the others. In HW, digital audio is successfully passed through to ext HDMI receiver successfully, but once in HW+, only stereo is passed through. Is there anyway to force audio passthrough in HW+ mode regardless whether MX can detect the HDMI audio capability of the receiver or not? The issue is of course video plays well and without stuttering in HW+ mode.

HW decoder is using mediaplayer implementation which is built on the system itself. So, audio passthrough is done by the system itself. Third-party apps mostly depend on the APIs provided by android. They can't directly access the hardware. MX Player will try to detect the capability of the HDMI receiver. If it's not supported or not reporting properly, then Audio pass-through won't be used.
Can you play the video on both HW, HW+ decoder & collect complete system logs using logcat?

Bad bluetooth audio quality when not using aptX (HD)

Hi there,
has anyone else quality issues with bluetooth audio? When not using aptX or aptX HD, music sounds like it only had a bitrate of 64kbps. Really bad. Tested this with two car stereos and a bluetooth speaker. However when listening to music with an aptX (HD) enabled device, it sounds perfectly fine. With my old LG G4 I didn't have these problems using the same devices.
I also tried changing bluetooth settings in developer options, but that didn't change anything.
I'm currently on TW 1.24.709.7
Greetings

Bluetooth audio delay not working

Hi,
When I play videos on MX Player while connected to my car's Bluetooth, the video is about a second before the audio coming out of the car's speakers.
(* - No need to mention that I shouldn't have video in my car)
I tried to set the Bluetooth audio delay setting to various numbers, but they all seem to have no affect at all. I tried -1.0, -1.6, -2.0, -5.0 - the async seems to be the same on all values. I am suspecting that this feature doesn't work at all.
Would appreciate some insight.
V1.14.5
Thanks.

RN7P no stereo audio in video recording

Hello. I've run into a strange problem on my RN7P (running on latest stable miui 12 release). When I record a video through either the stock camera app or 3rd party camera apps, the left and right channels of the audio get summed to mono. I used to be able to get stereo audio before but suddenly this happened.
I tested the native voice recorder app and that still gives me proper stereo audio with no problem, and so the issue is definitely not with the microphones. This mono audio problem happens only when I record videos.
Is there a setting somewhere that I messed up? There are no audio settings on the stock camera app and in the 3rd party app (Open Camera), I have the audio settings set to stereo which still doesn't work.
