Error while opening S Health and Samsung Pass - Samsung Galaxy S8+ Questions & Answers

Hi,
My name is adil. I am using a samsung GS8+ (SM-G955FD). So after i rooted my phone, suddenly the S Heath and the Samsung Pass stoped working when i tryed to open it said "Can't open app
For your security, Samsung Health can't be opened on a rooted phone.(0x110070null60N2430)". i searched and found that the error is caused by rooting the phone. So i unrooted it and installed a new stock firmware, and tried again. It still shows the phone is rooted. So please anyone can you help me

You have tripped your Knox that is why it's not working. There is no fix for a tripped Knox.

Check your knox:
Boot into download mode
Look for Warranty Void Line (1 = tripped/no good 0 = clean/good)
Like said above if knox tripped nothing to do

Isn’t that a work around for S Health ?? I’m sure there is, i don’t know about Samsung Pass, but S Health there is a work around. After your rooted you can get S Health working again, just search the xda forums.

After flashing stock firmware Samsung Health says I'm rooted when I'm not

I've checked on my download mode screen and Knox isn't tripped and my device status is official.
However, today, after installing official Samsung software, Samsung health claims it can't run on a rooted device, which mine isn't. I have tried reinstalling it and factory resetting. I've tried installing the PHE firmware which it supposedly came with, but to no avail. What can I do?
Also, what is a foolproof way to know which specific firmware my phone came with?
Thank you.

S health not working

Hello, recently i acquisitioned a samsung galaxy s6 g920f second hand running android 7.0, and when i attempt to start s health it sais that it cannot run on compromised devices(0x110030521), i checked the internet and when i go to download mode it sais knox warranty void 1(0x0500). Any workaround please? Thank you.
seems like your phone is recently got rooted ? if yes, seems like your Knox is tripped
Okay, here are some solutions (not tested by me though):
-Reflash stock firmware (obviously you'll lose root access)
-set in build.prop value ro.config.tima from 1 to 0
-Install S Health apk from here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s6/general/fix-samsung-account-login-password-loop-t3575443
One of these solutions should work. And please, next time do some research before creating a new thread.
Well, thanks for answer, but 1)reflashed stock with smart switch, and 2)i am not rooted whatsoever....none of the seemed to work, i gues there is no workaround the knox, or is it?

Some apps won't launch because my s6 (SM-G920I) thinks it's rooted

Hi guys, id like to ask for some help because i tried flashing the oficial room again and this won't solve my problems.
when the android 7.0 version was released for my s6 it released first in india, so i went to sammobile.com and downloaded that oficial firmware from there
it worked just fine untill i needed a screen replacement and sent my fone over to samsung itself here in Brasil. When it came back the ppl at samsung installed
the official brazilian 7.0 that was already avaliable at the time. that's when i began to have some issues. Apps like samsung pay and s health won't launch because my phone thinks it's rooted. when i try to open such apps i get a system message : for your safety this app cannot be launched in a rooted phone (translated from portuguese). I don't really care much about s health, but my internet banking app keeps blocking my bank account password because it thinks my phone is rooted. what could i do to restore my phone back to it's factory specs? or end with the problems with the "fake rooting"
thanks for your time!

Samsung s10e security issues

Hi. I was trying to root my Samsung s10e with magisk, following instruction but it's failed. Later I've instaled pure firmware and re-locked oem but in some Samsung apps it's showing that my device was rooted and I cannot use them (eg Samsung Pass, Health...). Somebody knows how to fix it or if I will be able to get future update on the phone?

Question Return to Stock?

Good Morning Everyone
As the title suggests, i am looking to return my S22 Ultra back to stock.
i was on beyond rom for a bit, but too many apps complaining that my device was rooted has forced my hand to return my device back to stock once again.
I flashed the stock rom via odin, then locked my bootloader and wiped all data.
However i am still getting messages that my device is modifed.
Anyone got any ideas how to can truely return to full stock?
Thanks in advanced.
And yes i did do a search on the internet before asking, but i have been unable to find any advice outside of what i have already done.
happend to me, too. But only on the latest firmware. When I flash an older firmware, it won't appear. But after updating again to the latest ROM the message appears
Cheers mate. I'll give that a go.
Also note that if the device was rooted then you triggered the Knox flag and that one CANNOT BE RESET, it's an "efuse" (a hardware component that once changed it's state can only be reset by replacing it, i believe you need to replace the entire motherboard for that).
So, if the application checks the Knox status it will fail.
Here are a few apps that i know that will not work anymore :
- Knox itself (and any app that uses the Knox library/API )
- Samsung Pay
- Samsung Health
- Secure Folder
A few years ago I also had a banking app that failed to worked with a Knox flag triggered (on a Note 8), but after an update it allowed me to use the phone as long as i didn't have it rooted.
