Samsung s10e security issues - Samsung Galaxy S10e Questions & Answers

Hi. I was trying to root my Samsung s10e with magisk, following instruction but it's failed. Later I've instaled pure firmware and re-locked oem but in some Samsung apps it's showing that my device was rooted and I cannot use them (eg Samsung Pass, Health...). Somebody knows how to fix it or if I will be able to get future update on the phone?

Galaxy S6 Secure check fail : (recovery) help, installing TWRP

I have been trying for about a month to root and atleast boot this SM-G920V to a rom I dont even care if it's rooted but anytime i try to follow a youtube video exactly it still ends up failing i have used adb to boot to bootloader then turned off phone booted into download mode to bypass the secure download but it still says SECURE CHECK FAIL : (RECOVERY) I don't quite understand why Verizon just has to be so difficult but this may be a dumb question is there anyway to actually switch the model of this phone without just changing that file that displays it to thus switch it to a root compatible version or will changing that actually make the phone compatible I don't know if anyone has any tips as to booting this verizon galaxy s6 nougat 7 to a custom rom or even rooting though I was told that the verizon models are incompatible for unlocking bootloader but I know theres ways of booting to roms without unlocking bootloader though you need root is there anyone that doesnt need root or unlocking bootloader I have also tryed the old ping pong method and that still failed. please let me know if you have any knowledge of any of this thank you in advance
No way for custom rom.
Flash the latest official, install Package Disabler app and get rid of the bloatware.
Then enjoy the phone.

[HELP] Samsung S7 SM-G930W8 OEM

Hi everyone, I bought this samsung s7 sm-g930w8 phone and I tried to root the phone but was unsuccessful.
Now I can't enable OEM unlock. It's not grey out but it just unenable.
For some apps it said can't be opened on a rooted device. When I checked with rootchecker it said root access not properly installed.
I already tried to unroot and do a firmware reset but nothing change. Please help. Thanks

So that is a Canadian Exynos device yes?
First thing to try is to make sure your following any guides exactly and are using the correct version of any files. Then try rooting it again. I'm going to assume your using Odin in download mode and it doesn't give you any errors but a "pass" when complete.
Also I've always found it much much easier to install TWRP first then root.
If none of that works, download firmware, flash with Odin and use Home_csc so you don't lose your data.
It would be helpful if you provided your firmware version, cell carrier, locked to carrier? Etc

Rooting a Samsung Galaxy S7 (SM-G930T)

Hi. I'm new here as a member, but I've found this site from my interest in rooting earlier this year. I'm aware of losing data and accidental bricking, and I've been searching for quite a while. I'm mostly interested to get rid of "bloatware" and remove ads. I currently don't know where or how to start, but I did start backing up files and data to keep. I also got SuperSU and Titanium Backup (and ADB installed on my computer).
I came across several pages of stuff, but I couldn't find anything recent/relevant. Links:

If anyone can point me in the right direction, that would be helpful! I can use a PC (Windows 10) for doing part of the rooting process if necessary.
I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S7 with T-Mobile as the carrier. Model SM-G930T, version 8.0.0, and build number (just in case) R16NW.G930TUVSBCTA2.

This would be a thread you'd want to take a look at: https://forum.xda-developers.com/verizon-s7-edge/how-to/root-s7-s7edge-oreo-nougat-t3819616. Unfortunately, you are on binary #11/B, and there is no root for that. There is no eng.boot for that, and that's what you need in order to root. The last eng.boot was for #10/A.

Hi and thanks! I'm guessing that means I can't root with my current device...?
Oh, and I did check out that thread, but I can't tell if it will work for my device (or what I'll need).

Not until there is the correct eng.boot for the current binary. Our bootloader's are locked, so no way to downgrade.

Root Help!!!
I am also on a Samsung Galaxy S7 with T-Mobile as the carrier. Model SM-G930T, version 8.0.0, and build number R16NW.G930TUVSBCTA2.
When trying to Root using odin, I keep getting the SW Rev Check Fail: [Boot] Fused 11 > binary 8 (or 1, or 4; it depends on which Tar I am using to attempt root).
If anyone finds a solution, please share! Thx!!!

Not able to unlock Galaxy note ultra 20, hk version

Hello,
I have been trying to unlock the boot loader on Galaxy note 20 ultra hk version but it doesn't work.
I followed the instructions here to the letter!: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...t-for-galaxy-s21-series-b-n-0-u-u1-w.4233567/
When doing that, I get a warning message in Chinese saying that the device isn't safe(ugh, why did I get the hk version)
But the device isn't unlocked anyway, and Knox isn't tripped.
Fastboot flash just says command not found.
I think it probably has to do with that vaultkeeper thing, anyone have any ideas on how to proceed?
Thanks!!

I'm using the the HK version since several months - rooted & on Chinese stock ROM - working smoothly, no major issues at all.
Thanks! I see my misstake now, I didn't realize Knox wouldn't be tripped until after you flashed a custom image.

Samsung Galaxy S7 (SM-930F) displaying "security log agent" notification after root

Is this something that happens when you root a Samsung phone or my device has been compromised by shady software?
It is my first time rooting an smartphone and it seems that bank apps won't allow rooted phones. I am thinking about flashing an official rom to fix these issues.
By the way, I used this guide to successfully root my device:

If you are on the stock rom then yes, it will show security log agent notif.
And you wont be able to use banking apps on rooted phones on any rom official or unofficial.
You can try using magisk hide but i've never tried it so not sure if it will work.
