[MOD][MCU] cs-x Mod MTCD/E MCU firmware (SoundPatched) - MTCD Software Development

Modified firmware MCU MTCD/MTCE in the part of the presets of the sound processor (Sound Patched)
thanks to the esteemed @Hal9k_ for advice on creating a topic on the forum for English-speaking users and respected @typos1 and @Wadzio for their help and tips on attaching MCU firmware files to the thread
link to Russian mirror
(modified MCU firmware universal for all HeadUnits, but the improvement of sound only for HU without built-in DSP-module, for HU with DSP-module changes do not affect the quality of sound). All the modified MCU firmware are made on the basis of the original firmware of the corresponding suffixes and versions. In order to distinguish the modified versions of the MCU firmware from the original after the version number added the letter index sp (Sound Patched). The following values are displayed:
-- for the low-frequency band of the equalizer became: frequency 60Hz, Q-factor 0.5;
-- for the mid-range of the equalizer became: frequency 500Hz, quality factor 0.75;
-- for the high-frequency band of the equalizer became: frequency 15kHz, Q-factor 0.75;
-- for loudness compensation: frequency 250 Hz, 5 dB level;
-- for the subwoofer channel became: the cutoff frequency of the low-pass filter 85Hz, antiphase output

alternate solution from @Wadzio:
cs-x Mod MCU firmware change presets of the Sound processor only and fully compatible with any Android builds. Alternate Wadzio SoundPatch is fully software solution and similar to 7floor solution without any hardware modification, but need to use change EQ application in Android (please see detail in the thread).

What does the patch do? Thank you

Can someone please provide links? I can not use the links on pda.ru because I can not register there. I don't understand russian.
I need KGL MCU.

I apologize for the delay in the reply, because my attachment does not work
P.S.

Thank you for all your help.

WWW MCUs are KLD MCUs, this has ben confirmed for quite a while.
Its probably better to use the KLD MCU as they are less rare, he only mentioned the risks to e on the safe side.
Back up your MCU config by using the "export" function in factory settings and keep the mcu.cfg file safe, if you do have any problems with KLD (very unlikely) you can restore your config by flashing the mcu.cfg file as you would an MCU.

downloaded the MCU firmware of your link it was version MTCE-WWW-V2.80
I will make a modification and put in the first message of the topic

You probably already know this thread MTCD/E MCU firmware modification .
You can share with us what to do to make SoundPatched firmware modification.
If you want of course.

Thank you so much guys, so the risks would be very rare if flash kdl, and anyway if I should flash the file backup mcu.cfg from recovery, right? If I'm wrong mcu risk of making the unit brick? Sorry but I'm new to Android car radios, I've always used smartphone modding, especially lg

I mean share with XDA community what, where and how to change the firmware to get SoundPatched modification.
If you want of course. (I know how to do that, a small investigation I presented in https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=75410036&postcount=3204. But I don't have time to prepare this modification for all firmware versions )

@cs-x(RU) has done it for most of the latest MCU versions, I think maybe trying to implement @7floor's sound mod in software may be a more worthwhile thing to work on.

Update MCU & DownGrade MCU ?

Hi friends!
I currently have
android rario ISUDAR
px3-userdebug 7.1.2 NHG47L eng.hct20180
MTCE_XRC_V2.80_1
2Gb/ 16Gb
1 - Can I upgrade to MTCE_GS_V3.07? (recommended by Chinese vendor). How do I identify compatible MCUs?
2 - If the update fails, can I reinstall MTCE_XRC_V2.80_1 MCU?
If there is any tutorial reporting on MCUs, you will be welcome.
Thank you very much

Hi again
I have read everything and the compatible MCUs are clear to me.
I am clear that I can update from MTCE_XRC_V2.80_1 to MTCE_GS_V3.07, but I am not sure if after updating I can return to the MTCE_XRC_V2.80_1 version simply by doing an MCU update
Thank you very much again

Yes, you can 'downgrade' and return to factory MCU code. Is there a specific issue with the current version XRC MCU?

Thank you very much

Today I have updated MCU to MTCE_GS_V3.07 without dmcu.ext file and it has created problem in screen resolution. After it, I have installed from option update mcu recovery the file dmcu.ext and resolution screen works fine.
MCU MTCE_GS_V3.07 not worked fine in my head unit. It show error "unmatch" on screen and play a beep sound in short interval time.
Afer it, I have re-updated MCU to my original version MTCE_XRC_V2.80_1 with dmcu.ext and then, my head unit worked fine ( without SWC 100% )

I had a factory in PX5 rom MTCE_XRC_V2.80_1 dedicated to Alfa Romeo 159.
I decided to make an update and uploaded not to my version of the equipment.
The screen resolution has changed and the radio did not work well.
I was able to return to MTCE_XRC_V2.80_1 after searching the forum and change the resolution to 800x480 by dmcu.ext
After returning to the old version, there was no button illumination and you can only turn the volume down with the volume knob.
I was able to set the backlight but I do not know how to turn the volume back on with the knob.

Have you tried setting "knob" type in factory settings? Knob controls the volume button analog type, you might have to try a couple of settings until correct.
Backlight is also set in factory settings, try that too.
Good work reading through forums to find the information, listing out the steps you took to help others help you without guessing

The original mixer_paths.xml file from the G100 firmware is attached.
Cannot I believe, requires ACDB edits

UIS7862 with YIN MCU, no firmware available

Hi, I just bought a chinese Android Radio, I was looking for MCU updates or rooting it but after hours of searching for a fitting MCU i couldnt find anything. I dont have any expierence with Android Head units, so maybe im looking in the wrong places. I was hoping someone on here could help me out.

Requested moderator move to FYT forum.
I should also add that i cannot acceces my system settings, it requieres me to put in a 4 digit code, which i dont have. Factory reseting the unit didnt work either, it just restarts everytime i try. Is there anything i can do ?
Why MCU update. It's discussed in the forum, and you the a very up to date version - more recent than mine. Are you confusing MCU to Android?

What do you mean? Do you need the Android firmware or the low-level MCU firmware? And if you need the low-level firmware: what is your manufacturer id?
And don't put your email address in if you don't want to get spammed by all kind of mail bots. Besides: a 1.3 GB firmware can't be sent via email anyway.

choose the firmware according to the type of radio screen you have, I had flashed it by mistake on my radio which is a FYT NOR and not a FYT YIN (and on restarting the radio a warning green bar indicated that it was only for YIN).

Hi Guys, I've been plugging away doing my own researching trying stuff etc. Just wanted to jot down my experience and see if anyone wants to chime in on a few things to help.
I ended up upgrading from my unknown version of Android 9 PQ2A to Android 10 CHS2 IMG -> Download Here
Updating my MCU Firmware from version 3.04 to 3.54 -> Download Here
I tried a number of different images, some not booting, some having a error on the screen MCU doesn't match type stuff. Tried those fixes but they didn't work. Tried the different mod packs but to be honest so many are so ugly.
But OK so I've settled on Android 10, everything works generally OK but I have two issues.
1. My sound used to be alot louder so I presume I had a patched MCU previously. How can I get this patched (file shortcut above)? The android amp mod software doesn't work.
2. My WIFI while it works is generally problematic compared to my Android 9. Is there any patch for Android 10 to fix WIFI related issues?
3. Is there any other Android versions I could update to? That may work with my KSP MCU version? Android 11 or 12 with the same styling as my CHS2.
4. Rooting the headunit seems to be an impossible task, mines not rooted but the mod packs available on here look horrible so I have just left it stock, anyone know of a better way?
But yeah looking for the MCU Sound Patch for my version which isn't available anywhere on the forums and the tools seem to have been removed, and if there's any root or other versions of Android etc.
Files generally sourced from Yandex -> Found here
SoundPatched only works on non-DSP devices, if you want a newer one you need to ask cs-x(RU) to adjustmentit , send him a private message:
[MOD][MCU] cs-x Mod MTCD/E MCU firmware (SoundPatched)

You can find the older version here, you can still downgrade the MCU:

This is topic where I will put newest files from cs-x, downloaded from his 4pda.ru topic. This is made because cs-x stopped posting here and many people have problems registering or downloading from 4pda. All credits go to cs-x, he made it all...

You can try the German M.I.C. he released the latest update in November to fix more problems, I haven't tested it personally, maybe it will help with wifi:

I tested this on my Dasaita px6 mtce head unit once I installed Android 10 (thanks Diavol for the tip) I know that there are other ways to do this, but this is how I accomplished it. ****************DO THIS AT YOUR OWN...

I personally use Hal9k paid mod 5.2.0 and have no problems, but other users report both bluetooth and wifi problems, mostly with the WQ_RF210 driver, probably a general problem with the latest android 10 updates. They report the same problem on Dasaita. Same problem with bluetooth, also has android 11, so until they release a fix, all I have to do is try older updates. Good luck.

Hi, I bought the camera from this link
{Mod edit: Affiliate spam link removed. Oswald Boelcke, Senior Moderator} How to check if my px5 supports ahd?
There is no "Backcar Setting" in factory settings.
