Hi friends!
I currently have
android rario ISUDAR
px3-userdebug 7.1.2 NHG47L eng.hct20180
MTCE_XRC_V2.80_1
2Gb/ 16Gb
1 - Can I upgrade to MTCE_GS_V3.07? (recommended by Chinese vendor). How do I identify compatible MCUs?
2 - If the update fails, can I reinstall MTCE_XRC_V2.80_1 MCU?
If there is any tutorial reporting on MCUs, you will be welcome.
Thank you very much

Hi again
I have read everything and the compatible MCUs are clear to me.
I am clear that I can update from MTCE_XRC_V2.80_1 to MTCE_GS_V3.07, but I am not sure if after updating I can return to the MTCE_XRC_V2.80_1 version simply by doing an MCU update
Thank you very much again

Yes, you can 'downgrade' and return to factory MCU code. Is there a specific issue with the current version XRC MCU?

I wrote to seller and he told me update MCU to MTCE_GS_V3.07. For this reason I have needed information about MCU´s, although I'm not sure about updating the MCU, I'm afraid of break the radio.
Thank you very much
One last question...

Today I have updated MCU to MTCE_GS_V3.07 without dmcu.ext file and it has created problem in screen resolution. After it, I have installed from option update mcu recovery the file dmcu.ext and resolution screen works fine.
MCU MTCE_GS_V3.07 not worked fine in my head unit. It show error "unmatch" on screen and play a beep sound in short interval time.
Afer it, I have re-updated MCU to my original version MTCE_XRC_V2.80_1 with dmcu.ext and then, my head unit worked fine ( without SWC 100% )

I had a factory in PX5 rom MTCE_XRC_V2.80_1 dedicated to Alfa Romeo 159.
I decided to make an update and uploaded not to my version of the equipment.
The screen resolution has changed and the radio did not work well.
I was able to return to MTCE_XRC_V2.80_1 after searching the forum and change the resolution to 800x480 by dmcu.ext
After returning to the old version, there was no button illumination and you can only turn the volume down with the volume knob.
I was able to set the backlight but I do not know how to turn the volume back on with the knob.

Have you tried setting "knob" type in factory settings? Knob controls the volume button analog type, you might have to try a couple of settings until correct.
Backlight is also set in factory settings, try that too.
Good work reading through forums to find the information, listing out the steps you took to help others help you without guessing

mmm... MTCP? not MTCE?
Compatibility with MTCD/MTCE (this forum section) is not very clear...
BTW, this section is for the software development... you should ask in the general sections...

Yes, MTCP. As far as i understand P - is for 8-channel audio. Maybe there are some other differences, but this is the one i'm aware of.
Can you please share what you have? i will try to check if it can be flashed on my HU.
Thanks!
I have a MTCE_HF with MCU v. 3.30 (the latest known on the net), but I suspect it's not compatible with your HU, but anyway you have already a v 3.30, even if it's a v. 3.30_1 (for MTCP?).
Hello everyone. I received an updated Firmware directly from seicane for their head unit. This is Android 10 update for the 2/32 GB unit. Everything seems to be working great so far on unit. If you would like to try it for yourself please feel free to download and install. I'm not too tech savvy so if you have any questions I'll answer them the best I can. Thought I would share for anyone to update their own unit if possible
PLEASE BE ADVISED YOU USE THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK!
I will not be held responsible for any damages done to your own unit.
Thank you!

I'm trying to figure it out but afraid I might brick my unit. I'm looking into Hal9k Mod v4 for MTCD/E but I can find these requirement in my head unit.
The model starts with px5 (rk3368) or px6 (rk3399) or px30 (rk3326_mid)
My unit only shows px5 but not the rk*****. Is it the same with my system?

Already done updating to Android 8 and Hal9K Mod 3.1. Now I want to update my MCU firmware MTCD_KGL_V2.36_2. I reade somewhere that MTCD and MTCE are cross compatible. Does it mean I can use mcu update file like MTCE_KGL_V3.10 to my Head unit to update?

Have to ask, why do you want to update your MCU, what's broken?
Only For the billionth time MTCD = MTCE.
For the purpose of those searching (no one will, there's a pattern of new joins, who joined XDA simply to get support and will disappear after getting an answer and don't seem to want to use their own time to understand) and meta crawlers MTCD and MTCE are the same.
The Chinese ostensibly used a different suffix to confuse people.
Got your answer, guess we'll be seeing ya
MTCD = MTCE
MTCE = MTCD
Cheers,
- Bueller.

Ok. Thanks. I watched on youtube in order to update to Android 9 MCU must be MTCE so I'm wondering if my unit is compatible. Also I learned that bluetooth MD725 will not work on Android 7 and above so I think I can't do about that thing.

Can I use MTCE_HA MCU update to my unit?
Hi, My HU MCU current version is MTCD_KGL_V2.36_2. I want it to update to latest version but I can't figure out which one is the correct file. In the yandisk folder the there is a KGL folder in MCU files but the lastest one says it's MTCE_KGL_V3.10 is it compatible to my HU? Also can I also use other update file like MTCE_HA_V3.35?
Hello guys,
I am new here and happy that kind of forum exists.
I am looking for a help to solve my issue..
I have a PX5 radio android 2DIN Isudar in my Audi A4 B6. I tried to upgrade Android 9 to Android 10 and started from MCU update file.
Unfortunately I updated a filed MTCD_HA_v3.10 to MTCE_HA_v3.40 and after that everything is fine but my backlight option missed from menu settings!
I tried to restore it by new set up in safety setting but without results...
Now I don't know how I can back to previous version of MTCD apart from MTCE installed and restore backlight option.
Thank you for every comment guys!
Hi All,
I have a MTCE unit in my car.
With some tinkering I've managed to unlock its potential, Swapping the launcher, customizing a bit and so on.
The only thing that bothers me a lot is that the units DPI or resolution is ridiculous, every app is barely usable everything is huge.
the units screen is 800x600
and this is its info:
Code:
Model
A-MEDIA AUTO (800x480 O)
Android version
6.0.1
Core version
3.10.0
[email protected] #1320
Build number
px5-userdebug 6.0.1 MXC89L user.hct 20180130.142324 test-keys
MCU version
MTCE_HZC_V2.75b_1
CPU
8 core 64-bit CPU Cortex-A53 @ 1.5G
Memory
2000 MB
after searching the forum and the internet:
there is no obvoius usb connection for ADB, or wireless ADB
only 2 sd slots and a mini usb connector that apparently doesnt even work
no root.
no secret menus with passwords in settings
is there any way I can change the DPI on this thing?
any help would be greatly appreciated.

I´ll ask a mod to move it to there. May be have a look around there.
BTW: You really need to upgrade your unit to at least Android 9.

It has a bit issues with the Memory, but I think it would work fine... and you would be able to root, or use a custom ROM with it.
The resolution is changed using the dmcu.ext file. Choose the resolution of your inclusion, copy dmcu.ext to the sd card and update the MCU.

If you want to update the MCU, then yes. Before updating, save the settings in the dmcu.cfg file, it is a backup of your settings, in case of problems with dmcu.cfg, you update the MCU and everything will return to the original settings. Factory settings/126/EXPORT, you can find the file in the root directory, take good care of it, save it to external storage.
*Belsee Android 9 headunit. (PX6 RK3399 10.1" 1024x600 Screen with the MCU MTCE_KSP and BTWQ_BC6)*
Hi Guys, I've been plugging away doing my own researching trying stuff etc. Just wanted to jot down my experience and see if anyone wants to chime in on a few things to help.
I ended up upgrading from my unknown version of Android 9 PQ2A to Android 10 CHS2 IMG -> Download Here
Updating my MCU Firmware from version 3.04 to 3.54 -> Download Here
I tried a number of different images, some not booting, some having a error on the screen MCU doesn't match type stuff. Tried those fixes but they didn't work. Tried the different mod packs but to be honest so many are so ugly.
But OK so I've settled on Android 10, everything works generally OK but I have two issues.
1. My sound used to be alot louder so I presume I had a patched MCU previously. How can I get this patched (file shortcut above)? The android amp mod software doesn't work.
2. My WIFI while it works is generally problematic compared to my Android 9. Is there any patch for Android 10 to fix WIFI related issues?
3. Is there any other Android versions I could update to? That may work with my KSP MCU version? Android 11 or 12 with the same styling as my CHS2.
4. Rooting the headunit seems to be an impossible task, mines not rooted but the mod packs available on here look horrible so I have just left it stock, anyone know of a better way?
But yeah looking for the MCU Sound Patch for my version which isn't available anywhere on the forums and the tools seem to have been removed, and if there's any root or other versions of Android etc.
Files generally sourced from Yandex -> Found here
SoundPatched only works on non-DSP devices, if you want a newer one you need to ask cs-x(RU) to adjustmentit , send him a private message:

I personally use Hal9k paid mod 5.2.0 and have no problems, but other users report both bluetooth and wifi problems, mostly with the WQ_RF210 driver, probably a general problem with the latest android 10 updates. They report the same problem on Dasaita. Same problem with bluetooth, also has android 11, so until they release a fix, all I have to do is try older updates. Good luck.
