Hi, recently my mom tried to root her galaxy S7 but she made a mess, so, Now this Galaxy S7 has FRP Lock ON, When we try to Factory reset It gets stuck in boot screen and there is a message saying "E: Failed to clear BCB message: failed to find /misc partition"
I tried flashing a stock rom but FRP blocks it...
I tried even every other solution i've seen in the forum but nothing helped

i am receiving this same issue. is there any way you can assist as i am a first time samsung user?
I am Having same issue on my Samsung Galaxy Note Edge.

PNG and TGY were also failed like is, but if reflashing stock ROM using Heimdall, which partitions are to be flashed accoring to the PIT on my A12? And which partitions should never be touched?
Even with successful flashes using Heimdall, it still always reports to me SW REV check failed
Now my device is still being boot-looped, and on either YouTube or online text tutorials nothing is about solving the boot loops for my A12
And have also retried to flash my own builds of TWRP instead, https://sourceforge.net/p/twrp-samsung-a12/code/ci/master/tree/out/target/product/a12, however also unfortunately somewhy,
Code:
Heimdall mode (High speed)
Product name: SM-A125F
...
Warranty void: 0x1 (0x500)
RP SWREV: B1 NS1 K1 S1
...
SW REV check fail: [recovery] Fused 1 > Binary 2
SW REV check fail: [boot]Fused 1 > Binary 0
Me again.. Ive obtained the same problem and solved it just reflashing my whole firmware with Odin u_u
I’ve just flashed the full firmware.
The SW REV check failures were fixed, but my device is still being boot looped
What to do next?
My A12 has MTK chipsets (according to my CPU-Z), hence also their ‘‘secure’’ boot locks, now going to unlock it by their SPFlashTool

Heimdall flashes are always by PIT partitions; PIT means partitioning informative tables
Odin flashes, on the other hand, are instead more by tar packages, namely BL, AP, CP, and CSC
* BL = BootLoaders; AP = Android PDA’s i.e. systems with also recoveries; CP = Core PDA’s i.e. modems; CSC = Country support codes or Consumer software customizations
I’m still being boot looped due to sth in unknown errors named PDP
Code:

The error at the last is probably because the firmware you are trying to flash has older bootloader than what it is currently and it looks like you cannot downgrade bootloader.
I
Every time I use Odin to install TWRP I get a failure.
<ID:0/004> recovery.img
<ID:0/004> FAIL! (Auth)
<ID:0/004>
<ID:0/004> Complete(Write) operation failed.
<OSM> All threads completed. (succeed 0 / failed 1)
I did set USB Debugging ON.
Tried both Odin Options > Auto reboot ON and OFF.
I've tried different cables (no change),
different versions of Odin (Odin3_v3.10.7, Odin3 v3.11.1, odin3-v3.12.4_4),
3 different date versions of TWRP plus redownloads (twrp-klte.tar, twrp-3.3.1-0-klte.img.tar, twrp-3.6.0_9-0-klte.img.tar),
and a factory reset on the phone.
Other than this the phone seems top work fine. I did successfully do this a couple of years ago, but it doesn't work now.
The phone screen says:
ODIN MODE
PRODUCT NAME: SM-900A
CURRENT BINARY: SAMSUNG OFFICIAL
SYSTEM STATUS: OFFICIAL
REACTIVATION LOCK: OFF
KNOX WARRANTY VOID: 8x8
QUALCOMM SECURE BOOT: ENABLE (CSB)

SECURE DOWNLOAD: ENABLE
UDC START
SECURE CHECK FAIL: recovery
SECURE CHECK FAIL: recovery
SECURE CHECK FAIL: recovery
SECURE CHECK FAIL: recovery
I did try multiple times to install so S C FAIL x 4
Is something wrong with the phone?
What else can I do?
The TWRP site gives five different downloads for the S5 depending on the phone you have.
Always choose the right and latest one.
I found a wonderful description of the way you should act using Odin and TWRP
The description is for the S8 but the installation is practically the same.
HELP! S8 got bricked, can't access recovery mode and OEM is locked
Can I get some help? I bricked my phone because I was trying to install twrp. It flashed but I got an error where it reset my data, after data reset I was stuck at the boot screen with the logo . I've tried steps like flashing stock rom, odin...
forum.xda-developers.com
Give it a try on your S5.
Hope this might help you .

If already fixed then please let us know how you did it ... with some details.
I no longer have this problem. I upgraded to a Moto G7.
I did read the link above and it sounds interesting. I would definitely try it if I still had the Galaxy S5.
Hello,
I've recently dusted off my old S7 and wanted to install ROM on it.
But when going into recovery mode and trying to boot bootloader it says the following.
"E:Failed to clear BCB message: Failed to find /misc partition"
"Rebooting to bootloader"
"E:Failed to clear BCB message: Failed to find /misc partition"
After these messages it just reboots normally.
