Hisense A2 pro: No Internet connection, wrong APN? - General Questions and Answers

Hi all,
recently I got my new phone Hisense A2 pro imported, but can't get it set up right. It's not the original ROM.
2g, 4g is written at the upper lefter corner and I can get SMS, but no internet connection. I think the APN settings are wrong, but I'm not sure and tried different settings. Does it sound as if it's a problem with the APN or could it be something else My recent settings are:
Name: o2 internet
APN: internet
Proxy: Not set
Port: Not set
Username: Not set
Password: Not set
Server: Not set
MMSC: 10.81.0.7:8002
MMS proxy: 82.113.100.5
MMS port: 8080
MCC: 262
MNC: 07
Authentication type: None
APN type: default,supl,mms
APN protocol: IPv4/IPv6
APN roaming protocol IPv4
Bearer: Unspecified
MVNO type: None
MVNO value: Not set
Many thanks in advance!

I don't have this device but, I believe that one or both of the following threads may be helpful for what you need and don't be afraid to ask for some member guidance within one of them.

[Q] Please post definitive APNs to force 2G/3G/4G

I have been looking for this info for hours today and can't find a simple response.
I tried the *#*#4636#*#* trick, it doesn't stick.
Can someone post APNs that force 2G, 3G, and 4G non-LTE for the AT&T One X?
Is there a working mod that installs a toggle for this?
4636 trick is working fine for me.. but i'm not in AT&T..i'm using it in india and using cleanrom std.
I'm going to answer one of my own questions here folks, this is the LTE (true 4G) disable.
go to Settings>Mobile Network>Access Point Names
Click the Menu button, and select "New APN"
Enter the following:
Name: Media Net (name doesn't really matter, as long as its different from the original APN)
APN: wap.cingular
Proxy: Not set
Port: Not set
Username: [email protected]
Password: Not set
Server: Not set
MMSC: http://mmsc.cingular.com
MMS proxy: wireless.cingular.com
MMS Port: 80
MMS Protocol: WAP 2.0
MCC: 310
MNC: 410
Authentication type: Not set
APN type: default, supl, mms (no spaces after each comma)
Bearer: Unspecified
then hit back a few times, you may need to reboot for this to work

Its a known issue and it happens with everyone. Most likely because the LTE radio is still active , it just cant connect because the APN wont authenticate it. We need a true LTE off switch

[Q] LTE and Data random disconnects

I recently flashed to the uclf5 galaxy S3 r4 rom with mohans kernel and I love it. The only problem is the Data connections. The original APN that installed in the flash would connect and had great speeds but would not allow me to send or receive picture messages. Standard text's were ok but no pictures.
I looked around google and the XDA forums and tried a couple of new APN's. I finally got one that would connect and send pictures but it wasn't connecting to 4G LTE only 4G, 1st world problems yes but I wanted the LTE. as I continued searching I managed to get one to connect to LTE and still send pictures and everything was working perfectly, Except now the phone randomly disconnects from all connections with a little circle with a line through it instead of connection bars and obviously no data or phone calls. If I toggle back and forth between APN's I can get it to connect again but it's very intermittent sometimes it'll stay connected for hours other times for just minutes.
I originally had the SKYICS Superlite Rom installed and didn't have any connection issues what so ever and i'm completely at a loss as to what's going on now.

I'm not sure how that last one works but it does.
These settings do work, but again pretty much at will. this morning i woke up and was conected to edge. that was scary...
I'm not sure if its my settings or tge radio or something else entirely. any help would be greatly appreciated.
I've been having the same problem. Everything will work for a few seconds then I get a "null cell state delivered" message when I check logcat. Changing APNs didn't work for me but how are you getting to the APN settings? Every time I try I just get a dialog box that tells me to insert a sim card.

[Q] 2G instead of 4G

i have a carrier unlocked One S, which used to be T-Mobile, now it's on AT&T. i remembered from when i had the One X that i had to setup a APN, so i found the necessary information and create one, worked fine, actually set it up a couple of times no problem. so today after i redid my phone again i create the APN, and now i can't get higher than 2G (tested in several locations) anyone any idea how i can resolve this?
(see attached image)
here's the content of the APN;

thanks in advance.
As far as I know, HTC One S DOESN'T support 4G (at least mine S3 variant doesn't). And if 3G isn't working also at locations where it should, are you sure you have the WSM/GSM mode, not only checked one of these?
Edit: Found out that this may be a hardware issue that happens after S-OFFING and/or SIM UNLOCKing
check this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2160389
it may be helpful
thanks guys... had some other issues and the seller is going to send me another One S... we'll see how that goes.

So I've got service, can call/text, but I have absolutely no data/MMS

I was running stock 4.4.2, rooted and unlocked, and my service/data were fine until today, when I just stopped being able to use data. I've tried rebooting, powering down for about half an hour, checked and double checked my APNs, and flashed Cm11. Haven't tried to flash a new radio alone since I figured cm11 would've come with a different radio from stock. A friend suggested it might be my SIM, but I would assume I would get no service at all if there was a problem there.
So where do I go from here? :V

Who is your carrier. Go to mobile networks/access point names/ and find your apn settings
Try proper radio. A sign is if your WiFi doesn't find signal usually bad mixed. I get this often. I flash lots on many devices but its simple. Anyway try your radio. And no ROMs normally have no radio unless it says otherwise or firmware. Peace.

AT&T, I've tried resetting to default APNs as well as comparing mine to those in AT&T's Help and other peoples' own settings.

See I can pick up wifi just fine, it's just my regular data that's acting up. I've tried looking into a guide for flashing radios but to be honest, I don't know much about LTE bands or anything. Is there a good guide here that I missed? It seems as simple as flashing one with CWR but I don't wanna ruin anything.
Write down your apn settings here so we can look at them

Should I delete the other ones and just have those two? Cm11 came with like a bunch of them.

You can have as many as you like but it will only use one. It looks as if you are mixing the settings of different apns together

Added both, tried selecting each one and I'm still having the same problem.
So to update, I've gone back to stock 4.4.4, straight from google, still not working, and then flashed the newest radio and that didn't do it either. Starting to thing it's a hardware problem, maybe actually is the SIM?
Ended up being the sim! Thanks for your help though, guys!

Sprint APN settings for data on GSI roms

The most common issue I have run into with the GSI roms for the E5 Play (james) has been data not working, unfortunately all of the sprint APN settings I have found online have been incorrect for newer phones so here is a working APN based off of a stock E5 Play.

Wow, I've been trying to fix this for a while now... I can finally go to sleep oh my lord... Thank you so much sir. One question though know how to make these apn settings stay even after rebooting?

I haven't had an issue with them not sticking after a reboot, I'll look into it and let you know if I figure something out.
