Changed SM-G9550 from HK to open China with Tomato Rom - Samsung Galaxy S8+ Questions & Answers

I'd unlocked my Bootloader, flashed TWRP and also Tomato Rom. Now I want to go back to the TGY Rom and have this effect in Odin :
<OSM> Checking MD5 finished Sucessfully..

I tried to flash the correct Boot & Recovery from the firmware.mobi (chainfire) , Samsung info shows TGY everywhere, but no complete flash possible. How to solve this issue?

From what I have seen in ODIN none of this is right. Added should be 1rst line. Whole script line looks bad to me. Can't tell what you are doing. May need to PM me to avoid a brick.

Saw the updated instructions just hours after I posted that. Everything is up and running great!
***********************************
Oh funny I ran across this tread. I just bought an s3 off contract, did the OTA update, and now it seems I can't get root or figure out even what I am doing wrong.
I have spent the better part of a day, bouncing between 3 computers and 4 software environments trying to get all the different guides I have found off of here to work. I have used the toolkit which I realizes states that you must have unlocked bootloader. I try to unlock bootloader, which the instructions seem to suggest that you must root first, I can't get any sort of file permissions to write root files. tried 3 different guides, all at the top of the forum lists.
Below is what I get when I try to flash file in odin per root instructions in tool kit:

Cant get odin to work stuck on system.img Galaxy S3

I tried to flash CyanogenMod and i couldn't activate / stuck in roaming. So, i followed the steps outlined here -- in the fixing data section ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2053799 ). I have tried new USB cables, ports, restarts -- But Odin wont flash the system... It got far enough to flash the recovery away so I don't have CWM installed anymore... This is really starting to piss me off... Please help
I have searched everywhere but all i can find is people telling me to change my USB cable... I wish it was that simple.
Thanks,
Elliott
have you tried using another version of odin like 1.8.5

I found This Problem Plz Help Me...

[Q] N8010 won't boot, cannot flash recovery etc

Device details:
N8010
Installed ROM: CM11 rooted
Recovery: CWM Recovery v6.0.3.6
Problem:
Device will not boot, but is stuck on "Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1" screen
when powering on the "Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1" screen comes on, then after a few seconds the screen gets slightly brighter but thats it.
I can boot into CWM but it will give me the following output:
Code:
Warning: No file_contexts
E: Can't open cache/recovery/log
E: Can't open cache/recovery/last_log
E: Can't open cache/recovery/last_log
I can boot into ODIN (v3.09 Techbeasts) and seemingly install stock firmware etc but it does neither solve the booting problem nor do i get the stock recovery or TWRP if i try to install that. Heres the log of my latest try to install stock firmware

Someone here had the same problem but fixed it just flashing the 4 ROM sections
https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s7/help/screwed-sm-g930vl-please-help-t3416539
Check "Repartition" in ODIN settings if you're changing CSC
Use ODIN 3.12.3 or newer
