Hello XDA,
I got a half-bricked Sony SBH50 headset from a friend. It actually can go into "awaiting firmware" mode, but I don't have neither firmware for it, nor tools to upload it to the headset.
I've found this thread:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/crossdevice-dev/sony/how-to-sony-mw1-sony-sbh52-sbh54-t3614073
but only covers SBH52, SBH54 and MW1 headsets. I would have gladly asked a question if they have a version for SBH50 (or if SBH52 fully compatible with SBH50), but I don't have enough posts to do that.
So, does anybody have those tools and/or firmware that I am looking for? I think it goes like this, would probably buy another used one, download firmware from there and upload it to my current one. But I would rather ask if anybody already have that firmware or willing to download it from their headset.

Anybody knows about any software application taht enables imate to be used as handsfree phone?
First of all before you post questions like this be sure you already RTFM and searched the forum.
It states that while a phone connection is active all you have to do is press the green button for a few seconds and the sound is transfered to the rear speaker.
Other option for handsfree is by using it's supplied wired headset and if you want a wireless one go and buy yourself a bluetooth headset.

@barisg,
hope this is what you looking for.
Hi,
I just purchase this tablet It is an off the wall brand but I really like it because it does not have any of the proprietary software that most of the others have, plus it has everything I could want and the price was good.
My question is: Can I upgrade to a newer Android OS such as ICS? If so can you direct me to a link on what I would need to do.
Thank you in advance.
John
You most likely will not get an official update, but i am sure you could search for ICS roms.
Thank you for that. I will do some searching.
Hi all.
I have a sonim XP3 quest pro. I like it because its tough, the battery lasts 4 weeks and it really is water proof. What i really dont like is his software.
I have been (frustratingly) searching the internet about what can i do about it and found out that:
- Sonim is not making firmware updates
- the core of this phone is Philips Nexperia 5210 with arm9 processor
- there were other phones with this processor ( like sony ericson p990) and run symbian
so my questions are:
Can i install symbian (at least 9.1) on it? If so where can i find it to download? it seems i can't find older versions.
And how do i do it? I'm not an expert....
If its impossible, or not worth it, what can i do? (and don't tell me to throw it away and buy another)
Thanks.
so... my question is not even worth answering....
when you made the "scare-the-noob" video you should add "if you searched everywere and did not find it, don't bother asking. most likely we don't know and we are ashamed to admit that we don't know everything"
a simple "I don't know" would have been more polite than no answering.
thanky you anyway. at least i learned how this forum is willing to help.
lol.
hi, i nned to reflash sonim xp5700. can someone help me?

As a result of the search, he found an effective method. You need to use the Infinity box CM2.
With this program, a backup was made that was successfully installed on another phone. Who will help me to repackage the firmware for a free program?
Hi, is their any kind of software\hardware to android, that can add my cellphone InfraRed?
Bluetooth and IR are totally different frequencies. You would need a piece of hardware that would hook up to your bluetooth to use IR.
To answer your question, I know of no hardware that does that, but it would be nice!
i know that their is something like that, bcause i remember that i've heard about it. i wanna know if someone familiar with it.
Could you probably give some more informations about what exactly you would like to achieve? Ok, it is clear in general you want to control "something" that only has ir. But it could be that there are already other projects for this specific device. I think currently your only chance is to find some smart guys in a microcontroller forum who likes this project. I am not aware of a consumer solution.
I have an older RavPower WD03 Wifi router/power bank that has been acting up and so I ordered a new one, when it arrived it had firmware v2.000.020 on it, and my current one has the newer v2.000.024 on it, which I updated to only a couple of months ago. Now I want to update the new device to the new firmware, and it appears that all firmware for the WD03 has been removed from the ravpower webpage for the product. I know I can't be the only person who has used one of these, and I'm hoping to find someone who may still have a copy of the v2.000.024 firmware.
