[Q] Is their any way to transform BT to IR? - General Questions and Answers

Hi, is their any kind of software\hardware to android, that can add my cellphone InfraRed?

Bluetooth and IR are totally different frequencies. You would need a piece of hardware that would hook up to your bluetooth to use IR.
To answer your question, I know of no hardware that does that, but it would be nice!

i know that their is something like that, bcause i remember that i've heard about it. i wanna know if someone familiar with it.

Could you probably give some more informations about what exactly you would like to achieve? Ok, it is clear in general you want to control "something" that only has ir. But it could be that there are already other projects for this specific device. I think currently your only chance is to find some smart guys in a microcontroller forum who likes this project. I am not aware of a consumer solution.

Ok, I just ordered my Cect P68+ so I still haven't recieved it yet. But, I have been trying to learn all that I can about it. It looks like only now is someone possibly able to break into it. I use this forum, http://p168.myfreeforum.org
It is great (just like xda-developers). the OS is called...probably won't say this correctly...Neuclues OS? Think that is how you spell it. Anyways, it does not have Java which is what everyone wants to be able to do applications, it needs an embedded java to be added to it's OS to run the types of apps everyone wants. It looks to be a fun iphone clone, and reasonable @ only $160.

PPC as motor-bike communicator

Hi all!
I want to talk with my pillion rider when I'm on bike!
I have a bluetooth headset and a normal headset for my XDA Neo. Is it impossible to bridge both headsets to communicate? So I can plug the bluetooth headset and wire the other headset to talk via the XDA!
Thanks for all solutions!
Greetings,
HaRdy
Thanks!
Many thanks for all usefull answers...
Hi Hardcore...
I'd also like to do this, so if you do find out can you let me know please.
Thanks,
D.
I can see what you want to do but without an active call in place I don't see how you can do it.
IMHO it would be cheaper and easier getting a pair of PMR radios with headsets. It's probably not what you wanted to hear, but judging by the replies you've had no one has had the idea or knowledge how to do it either
is there not a push to talk option on wm6 devices? Never used it so I dont know
Did you ever find a solution to this?
I think it's a great idea (on my Touch Cruise or my pillions Touch Pro). Maybe an app is needed let the two headsets talk to each other.
If anyone has got further with this, you could make many bikers happy!
As a much duller and more limited solution, is there a "Bluetooth" call option, so as to let the call be hosted over bluetooth between 2 PDAs, rather than over GSM?

Question about Accelerometer hardware in HTC devices

Hi everybody,
I searched a lot for more low-level hardware specific information on accelerometers used in HTC devices.
But I didn't find much useful information. Only thing I found were some posts about a AK8976A chip in the G1.
What I want to know is what type(s) of accelerometers (chips, models) are used in the newer HTC devices and how they are connected / interfaced to the processor (i2c?).
The reason I am asking, is that I wondered if there might be a very slight chance to build up an external accelerometer to use with my polaris.
I really like those games using this sensor ;-)
So if you got any information about chips, datasheets, programming (not the highlevel SDK classes) please let me know.
Even a "Don't waste your time! It doesn't work because...." is welcomed!
Have a good night and thanks
Rene

[Q] Hey guys, help out please Huawei G7300

Hey strangers I recently bougth this new phone, Huawei G 7300, and I was just wondering if it's even possible to put SO Android in this phone.
I already searched but no luck in that.
Can someone help in this?
Does anyone tried this?
Do you guys think this is possible with an older version of android?
hope you or someone can help me
hugs
your answer
Hello um no its not possible your chipset would not even handle the android os i would honestly tell you to sell that and buy another phone as i mean some keypad flip phones have more features than that phone i dont mean to sound rude it was built to look pretty and very subprime internals 312mhz cpu you would need at least 600mhz cpu to run andorid platform and its just not set up to be a smartphone (in andorid)
sorry its not what you want to hear
ps if it helps please hit thanks
I don't mind to ear that. the phone is good for its purpose.
Thank you.
Can anyone help with the usb driver for this phone? i can find it anywhere and windows does not detect it.
Thanks
If you can know how to porting, and compiling from source code, you are able to port 1.5 version of android to your phone, but if you don't know or hard to you don't get started alone.

Tablet Talk Tasker plugin?

Anyone know of one? If not I wonder if someone could make one that would somehow auto connect the tablet to the phone. I have never developed anything so I have no idea how hard this would be, but if anyone knows of one or wants to develop one please let me know.
Anyone please? I bought some NFC tags and would love to use one to connect.
I am sorry, but I don't know of a plugin for that specific application. Just on a side note, if no one answers a post, it typically means that no one can help you or no one knows the answer. You are NOT being ingored, infact, quite the conterary. Im sorry I couldn't help, but if I run across something I will let you know!
