Handsfree for Imate? - JAM, MDA Compact, S100 Software Upgrading

Anybody knows about any software application taht enables imate to be used as handsfree phone?

First of all before you post questions like this be sure you already RTFM and searched the forum.
It states that while a phone connection is active all you have to do is press the green button for a few seconds and the sound is transfered to the rear speaker.
Other option for handsfree is by using it's supplied wired headset and if you want a wireless one go and buy yourself a bluetooth headset.

Motorola V550 is a completely different device than what this forum is about.
I'll leave it here for now, maybe you get lucky and can help you.

Wallaby question...

Hi guys, was told about your site from a guy who I ironically sourced a wallaby for!!, have an O2 XDA 1, and have been informed that i need to "free up" com port 1, in order for my GPS receiver to work..........but my buddy cant remember what he did!
Can anyone explain to me in thicky terms what I have to do??
Many thanks
...and apologies, I did try the search function, but obviously not well enough
disable the recieve all beams in connection
Rudegar.....thanks bud, tried it and works!!, pity I didnt get a handbook with the bloody thing  , oh well cant complain 02 XDA with tom tom software and GPS receiver etc etc for under £100 seems ok to me.

PPC as motor-bike communicator

Hi all!
I want to talk with my pillion rider when I'm on bike!
I have a bluetooth headset and a normal headset for my XDA Neo. Is it impossible to bridge both headsets to communicate? So I can plug the bluetooth headset and wire the other headset to talk via the XDA!
Thanks for all solutions!
Greetings,
HaRdy
Thanks!
Many thanks for all usefull answers...
Hi Hardcore...
I'd also like to do this, so if you do find out can you let me know please.
Thanks,
D.
I can see what you want to do but without an active call in place I don't see how you can do it.
IMHO it would be cheaper and easier getting a pair of PMR radios with headsets. It's probably not what you wanted to hear, but judging by the replies you've had no one has had the idea or knowledge how to do it either
is there not a push to talk option on wm6 devices? Never used it so I dont know
Did you ever find a solution to this?
I think it's a great idea (on my Touch Cruise or my pillions Touch Pro). Maybe an app is needed let the two headsets talk to each other.
If anyone has got further with this, you could make many bikers happy!
As a much duller and more limited solution, is there a "Bluetooth" call option, so as to let the call be hosted over bluetooth between 2 PDAs, rather than over GSM?

Hearing Aid App

I always wanted my mobile to use as a Hearing Aid device. Just wondering if it is possible for someone to creat something using the microphone for enhanced hearing with the help of a headphone or earphones ???
Apologies if that is a stupid idea !!!

SBH50 firmware and tools

Hello XDA,
I got a half-bricked Sony SBH50 headset from a friend. It actually can go into "awaiting firmware" mode, but I don't have neither firmware for it, nor tools to upload it to the headset.
I've found this thread:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/crossdevice-dev/sony/how-to-sony-mw1-sony-sbh52-sbh54-t3614073
but only covers SBH52, SBH54 and MW1 headsets. I would have gladly asked a question if they have a version for SBH50 (or if SBH52 fully compatible with SBH50), but I don't have enough posts to do that.
So, does anybody have those tools and/or firmware that I am looking for? I think it goes like this, would probably buy another used one, download firmware from there and upload it to my current one. But I would rather ask if anybody already have that firmware or willing to download it from their headset.
