Hi folks, I am new here. Jst bought a O2 stealth and need to know wat platform (HTC...etc) that it is running on. Also, if there is any AD2P cabs that is found here to use my Motorola headphones... :O
Thanks in Advance.
O2 XDA Stealth is made by Gigabyte not by HTC. Therefore its platform is not on currently this site.
That's right... But let's hope more info can be made available here for the stealth, as it was for atom (also not manufactured by HTC)...
Thanks folks!
is it possible that you can extract the answering machine software on O2 Stealth for us?

how do you find the stealth?? a good device.. can you give more details please...
Definitely much more stable than its siblings (atom and exec) as I had made some comparison with my friend's unit. So far so good as I have not enounter serious problems with it except that the number pad is a bit too soft. When dialing a number or messaging using T9, you will definitely miss a letter or number.
Another thing is on the communication manager. If you turn on and off bluetooth or wireless LAN too often, it will slow down the overall performance. other than these two, no further complains. I believe o2 will release a rom upgrade soon to rectify these little bugs here and there.
Hello i'm newbie. I have problem with O2 stealth...
1. How to use slide keypad without T9 menu
2. Why performance O2 stealth worst than O2 Atom (not exec)
3. Do anyone have upgrade rom for O2 Stealth....
Thanks...
I need XDA Stealth ROM update. Can you tell me where I can download it? I tried to download from O2 web but it says no soft update needed but i need to reflash my phone, thanks

Wait, what is the name of this forum site? xda-developers, not HTC developers. It should be supported on this site.

Our portal page has the following welcome message:
Welcome to xda-developers.com
This site is about certain PDA-phones, made by a secretive firm called HTC in Taiwan. Their makers named them 'Wallaby', 'Himalaya', 'Blue Angel', 'Wizard' and 'TyTN', but almost nobody knows them by those names. The mobile provider O2 sells them under the brand-name 'XDA', and that's what we had in our hands first. They're also known as Qtek, MDA, SX-56, Hermes and many, many other names.
Since we develop software for it, we need information, and nobody seemed eager or ready to give us what we needed. So we 'reverse-engineered' the devices, found a lot of information, and shared it with the world. But as our site grew we realised that lots of ordinary users were also suffering from a lack of support. They started using the xda-developers forum to communicate and before long the forum was as much a user forum as it was a developer forum.
We hope that you will enjoy this site and find it as useful as we do. We encourage you to donate or otherwise support this site. Of course absolutely all proceeds from donations will benefit this community.
If you look closely you will also see that not all phones made by HTC have a place on this forum simply because there isn't room to give every phone a forum.
Best regards,
Flar

I think maybe there is a software causing you the problem. My Stealth got no problem like yours. Maybe you can do a hard reset and install the software one by one to find out which one is causing you the problem.

Problem
I have a problem with my new device, O2 XDA Stealth Pocket Pc. It was working just fine for 4 days now, but today for some unknown reason the java program has been lost. I cant find it anywhere. Can anyone help me pls?
praneet0007,
The main memory you mention above is the RAM or ROM? If RAM, that's normal. If ROM, it can be many reason, example like you use the pocket ie to online, the cache, history, etc can reduce the memory.
I didn't use Outlook either, I used Jeyo Mobile Companion to backup all my contact and messages. Or you can use the backup application that comes with the handset.
For the register stuff, not really sure what's wrong, you better check with O2 for that.
pploutarchou,
Accidently deleted or it just disappear like that? Try looking in the program files see whether it still there or not.
ching4ever
I dont remember deleting it myself neither i find it in the program files. Either way i dont know how i can delete it from the program files. Is there anywhere i can download it again?
Very bad mood of a Chinese boy. This is my frist time to post thread on this forum,if this is the worng place, pliase forgive me.
I update the ROM to 6.1 , and it works well. But when i installed CE-STAR program (a plus to suooprt Chinese and Japanese) and restart my phone , my device displayed a blue screen,it dosn't start up!! Please look at the picture:
I found some information of how to do a hard reset:http://forums.imate.com/m_1637/mpage_1/key_/tm.htm
And then I do it : I took out the bettery and installed, press the POWER button when hold the FN and GREEN button, the phone restarted, but it still hanging on the blue screen.
Is the hard reset step of what i did right?
What shoule I do now?

Have just posted this suggestion there too: try to reflash the WM6.1 ROM again...if it doesn't work, then perhaps your BT hardware is really broken...
Thank god and thank you,it worked after i reflashed my device.
I just hurry in that case beacuse the i-mate 9502 is very hard to buy in China, many friends i recognized from the internet want to buy it,but almost the last one people can find in Beijing was sold to me,and they are still waitting for it.
So I mast treasure my device very much, because we love it.
Thanks again.

Yes, I love mine too. The only things I miss (not much, though ) from my old HTC Universal are the bigger screen (but the 9502's is much, much brighter), and the much bigger keyboard (but I am already used to the 9502's).
You see, this superb PDA/phone is not common in Brazil, either. None of my friends (at least that I'm aware of) here has it...
I suppose it's the main reason why xda-develpers doesn't have any threads dedicated to it.
Cheers!
Carlos
Thank you my Brazil friend,I love Ronaldinho's smile face.
You're welcome !
Glad that you, apparently, have sorted your problems out !
You are probably aware that i-mate officially released their v1.77 ROM. Take a look at i-mate.com for further details.
I have already flashed it. It behaves pretty much the same way as the leaked ROM, but with 10MB more of free RAM after a soft-reset.
Cheers!
Carlos

To hard reset your device, slide your keyboard open. Then, press and hold both the blue Fn and the green Call buttons, and, whilst keeping them pressed, briefly press the reset pin with the stylus pen. Release the buttons only when a confirmation screen comes up. Confirm the hard reset procedure by pressing the left softkey (which should be set to 'Yes'). Your device will reset, and, when it will come back to life with its factory defaults (align screen, initial settings).
Hope it works for you.
Regards,
Carlos

The 'Fn' key is the blue key, used to switch the keys to the characters marked in blue. It is located in the first column last row (at the far left side) of the physical keyboard.
Hope you are able to find it.
Please, let me know if you need further informations.

Carlos
Dear friens
i'm brand new here i had spent some days to read all posted opinions and answers on this topic, but I still can't find the answer I need.
So let me ask I hope you can help me.
I had installed the news 106 version of BB connect on my HTC afer that i had connected with the desctop BB according to the instructions (which are very unclear anyway) after all this i had to do hard reset to my 2 times. This made me very angry.
Please can any one tell me:
1. Where to find clear understandable instructions of how to install this software?
2 And which version is finaly working on the HTC HD?
Seems to me that somehting is very wrong with this software or I just dont get something right
Thank you in advance
