Good evening folks.
I was wondering if adding a color profile is possible in the Mate 9? Or using a color calibration tool ( Xrite and their ColorTrue software for example) would help calibrate the wonderful screens to look even better! I do't have any knowledge in Android hacking, but would it theoretically be possible with root of some sorts? Someone who's more knowledgeable, then me in this area please look into it!
Cheers.

Hi,
Well, I've searched and searched again.
But no luck.
I know ThumbCal and PocketInformant feature quite popular amoungst you guys, however I'm really struggling to find a HTC styled colour scheme for Pocket Informant.
Does anyone know of anything out there ? I tried searching on the PI forums, but again no luck.
I know it is possible to pre-set the colours, as I've seen regedit's given in the Yahoo! PIicon Group. It goes along the style of this (But note that this is some other colour scheme) :
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\WebIS\PocketInformant4\Colors]
"CAV_TodayColor"="#F5F5F5"
"CAV_TaskBackGround"="#EFEFEF"
"CAV_DueTodayTaskBackGround"="#F8F8FF"
"CAV_Font"="Tahoma"
"TV_Font"="Tahoma"
"CV_Font"="Tahoma"
etc... etc...
Has anyone devised their own style ?
Or can you point me to where a colour scheme exists ?
Thanks in advance.
Pretty please...
I'm not a developer, but do appreciate all the hard work you guys do for everyone!
ok...I was thinking a live wallpaper in the matrix style, but instead of the "matrix glyphs", it could be the android in diff. poses
...I mean really, how cool would that be??
But the color of the android glyphs would be able to be set by the user.
Anyone out there able to do this?
Also, not sure if this is where to post this...hope so.
Hi everyone!
maybe some of you using lg optimus 7 noted that the screen is too bright! even in low setting it is almoust unusable in the dark (night)!
Is there someone who knows a way to change the value of brightness of the presets (maybe a regystry tweak)?
here is the link with some data:
brightness comparison
In the table you can see that LG is much brighter than the others in the medium and low settings, the presets for dark environment.
I thinks it will be usefull for a lot of people. . . thanks for the help!
FOR MOD: i know this is a device related question, but maybe the solution is a general tweak that non-LG users may know. So here is easier to find an answare.
where.... ?

I am looking for some help designing an app specifically for the SGSII as it will be useless on any other phone that can't turn off pixels when not in use. I know there are other phones out there that can but thats not my target.
Not sure this is the correct sub forum but please more if needed.
I am looking to create an app like NoLed but instead of it displaying icons and such across the screen I would like it to only display the status bar. I have tried to figure how MADMACK got the app to display when the screen is "off" but no luck. If anyone could help me with this I would appreciate it.
I know I could use the combination of a few apps to achieve this desired look but I really feel that I could improve upon having to use multiple apps and in turn cut battery consumption. I have a little experience so someone with some patience is needed but I do learn quickly and am not against doing my own research. I just need some guidance. I can do some basics in Eclipse and have read some Android Application development 101's but am not finding what I need to know where to start.
Hi I'm looking for a simple app to be developed. I don't know much about coding but I would assume it would be fairly easy to put together for someone who knows what their doing...
My Request: When you recieve a notification on the watch you get an orange dot as a notification reminder on your watch face. I would like the option to customize this. Colour, shapes etc... I hate having the orange dot and would like to be able to pick the colour to show... Shapes etc would be extra but figured it would be neat to add although the ability to change the colour is really what I desire.
If anyone is willing to develop this I would be so grateful and thankful.
Bump.

This cannot be done by application. ROM files must be modified.
That's disappointing.
