Hi,
Well, I've searched and searched again.
But no luck.
I know ThumbCal and PocketInformant feature quite popular amoungst you guys, however I'm really struggling to find a HTC styled colour scheme for Pocket Informant.
Does anyone know of anything out there ? I tried searching on the PI forums, but again no luck.
I know it is possible to pre-set the colours, as I've seen regedit's given in the Yahoo! PIicon Group. It goes along the style of this (But note that this is some other colour scheme) :
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\WebIS\PocketInformant4\Colors]
"CAV_TodayColor"="#F5F5F5"
"CAV_TaskBackGround"="#EFEFEF"
"CAV_DueTodayTaskBackGround"="#F8F8FF"
"CAV_Font"="Tahoma"
"TV_Font"="Tahoma"
"CV_Font"="Tahoma"
etc... etc...
Has anyone devised their own style ?
Or can you point me to where a colour scheme exists ?
Thanks in advance.
Pretty please...

I know this has been asked before, but I didn't find any solid answers on how to go about creating a theme for a WM5 device (my Qtek 9100, for example). Microsoft's official theme creator dates back to PPC2003, and Kamware's ThemeMaker M is giving me errors and closing. Is there anything else out there that can create themes for WM5 devices?
My plan was actually to create a series of themes for this community using the Origami Project's gallery on its website (located at http://origamiproject.com/gallery/gallery.aspx ). I already have the right sizes for the wallpaper (320x294 for both portrait and landscape), and all I need to do now is create matching color schemes for these backgrounds. I'd really appreciate it if somebody could help me find a good WM5 theme creation tool!
I'd write Kamware and tell them to fix theirs
The only other one specifically targetting WM5 that I've seen is...
http://www.codeppc.com/telechargements/themegence/themegence.htm
It's very actively being developed (just noticed it bumped up a version, actually), so if you run into any issues you can let the author know. Be sure to download the Anglais version if you want English
This program works relatively well... the only problem is that the theme colors still don't seem to work for me. I can only seem to get a dark blue color to show up, and SOMETIMES red. I still can't get green to work.
I just got a bunch of nice backgrounds and i'd like a utility to cycle through them. Does anyone know if such a thing exists? i did a quick search but couldnt find anything on this forum.
http://www.google.dk/search?hl=da&q=today+theme+rotator&btnG=Google-søgning&meta=lr=lang_da|lang_en
thanks, im still looking through some of those links. but from my first impression it looks like those links provide programs to rotate the whole theme rather than just the background pic. Do you know if this is the case?
if so just change the search to something like this
http://www.google.dk/search?hl=da&q=today+theme+switcher&btnG=Søg&meta=lr=lang_da|lang_en
That's still searching for something that changes the entire theme, isn't it?
What I want is something to just change the wallpaper/background from a directory with many background images.
I tried searching google for "wm5 change backgrounds" but couldn't find what I was looking for. (my google skills suck)
Maybe I just don't understand how a theme changer could change my backgrounds for me.
Please advise.
Thank you.
Hi people
I had SPB Mobile Shell installed for a while, and well I finally took the plunge, and uninstalled it and replaced ith with HTC Home. Well needless to say I am liking HTC Home a lot more (smaller footprint and such).
However one thing I do miss, is the Old Bronze Theme built in into the program. I have searched high and low on the forums and across google, but I have come up with nothing regrettably. Thus my request is, does anyone have a theme, similar to that, or that theme in particular. Or do you know where I can find an orange colour theme (like on the E-Ten Glofiishes), or Gold, or another type of Old Bronze theme?
Thanks guys, really appreciate the help

You can actually use your old theme. You can just change the color of the upper and lower system trays using VJBASEHUE: http://www.vijay555.com/index.php?Releases:VJBaseHue
If you don't like VJBaseHue, you can change them manually, through the registry. Just use the color chart provided in VJBaseHue ZEBOXX: http://www.vijay555.com/vj/releases/vjbasehue/colors/colors.html to find the appropriate COLOR you desire. Here is the registry:
Use a registry editor,
Browse to HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Colour\
edit the "BaseHue" value and change it to (whatever number you desire based on the interactive color chart) Decimal.
Good Luck...

Hello!
It's very difficult to read the Today Screen on the Topaz in bright sunlight. I have searched and searched again for a solution on XDA-Developers and the internet as such, but I found nothing. Actually, there's very little discussion about this problem. I find that a bit strange since this isn't only a cosmetic thing; the issue actually has consequences for the practical use of the device.
So, I ask you guys if anyone is working on this problem? Or perhaps I'm the only one who regards the white font as a problem? There must be some way to get black font on the Today Screen? Perhaps there already is a solution out there that I haven't found?
I hope someone knows the solution to my problem!
Kind regards
Eiliv
P.S. I have tried Max TF3D Theme Maker, but that doesn't seem to work.
You can change today text color in SKTools (download free trial). It is in Tune Up - Colors.
But if you mean manila - I don't use it so I don't know how to change it
Yes, sorry, I mean the Today Screen / Home Screen in Manila...
Eiliv
I agree. It would be great to change at least the colours !
You must take the TF3d manila Files oft the Vodafone D2! White Screen with black letters...
Well, great! But how? Where? I've done a search for Vodafone D2, and the only relevant post I can find points to ppc.ch which seems to be a german site (greek to me)...
Can you please point me in the right direction?
Eil
this is the first bit of what ive found: http://www.smartphonejunkie.com/tutorial-how-change-t174799.html?t=174799

What can we do?
i use the appointment option on the calendar all the time for shift swaps at work etc, i dont like the tiny grey triangle , is there any way to make the full block go a colour? or even the triangle a dif colour, it be great to be able to set different colours but even one colour be better than the grey triangle.
thanx for reading
Look at the posts of degake here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=636062&page=2
When seeing the heading for this thread i must admit a spark of hope was lighted in me. My hope was to find a way to make color coding from using categories on appointments on desktop outlook 2007 show in preferably the sense calendar or even in the default windows mobile calendar. My assumption is that this is not an easy thing to accomplish. Or even possible? Anyone?
If colour coding according to categories is essential to you, then I'd suggest you look at alternative calendars, a number of them do that (I use Thumbcal, can't remember the names of the others though) - they all do a free trial so you can see which one would work best for you.
Thanks. I'll check out Thumbcal and maybe some alternatives. I wouldn't really say it's essential so I'll have to consider the drawback of having to get another calendar app versus the benefits of such a function. But now I'm more convinced that there is no fix to get color categories in the sense calendar. If anyone else has info otherwise I would be glad to hear about it though
