Hello to everybody.
I have a problem with my mate8.
After flash rom on TWRP phone will not boot. Only a black screen (phone off), no logo, no bootloop. Twrp recovery does not run, eRecovery not run.
Phone does not react to any combination of volume + - and power. After connecting to the PC is still in fastboot mode. Even with the battery disconnected.
Rayglobe knife or SRKtool performs unbrick but the phone will not boot, it is still only in fastboot. TWRP or eRecovery installs, but will not boot.
Fastboot commands some works, adb commands says "device not found " , "waiting for device" or remote: command not allowed.
It is possible to install UPDATE.APP via fastboot?
Bootloader is unlocked and FRP locked. I can not turn on USB debugging.
Is there any way to recover your phone, or is totally dead?

EDIT: Solved. Using DC Phoenix, unbrick and phone works again.

I CAN GET TO FAST BOOT.....FLASHED ALLTHAT T I CAN BUT NO RESULT....I PURCHASED CREDITS ON DC PHOENIX BUT TILL NOW NO RESULT AS IT CANT RECOGNIZE MY PHONE...
My phone was still in fastboot mode, so it was easier.
I followed instructions (Huawei Mate S flashing in fastboot by DC Phoenix on YouTube) .
My version is NXT-L29 C432.
I downloaded the official firmware C432 B320 and DC Phoenix performed a flash.
It was then a little problem with the battery, but unplugging, turning on the phone without the battery and then reconnect the battery managed to turn the phone on. Then I flash the firmware update.app in stock recovery and the phone is alive.
Spent 15 euros, but better than brick.
I would try to support dc phoenix. It might help.
Thank you...After trying to flash new firmware by DC phoenix.....My phone is completely dead.....NO power working....I think I must search for a new phone....anyway .......just I advise everyone to be careful when rooting Nougat.....

Windows Device Manager does not detect the attached device?

My mate 8 NXT -L29 is completely dead.I updated to noughat B563 and i found out my Bluetooth was not working completely,then i tried to downgrade it to B500 ,the update got 99% and then phone got switched off.No waking up no matter what.I tried the hard reset too with all combinations of voume and power button but no response.BUt when i connect my phone to PC Huawei suite opens up but cannot access. I removed the battery and then inserted it , still no life.Please give me a solution.

I have the honor 8 FRD-Al00 (chinese) only 2 days .
The phone ask to update the emui, and i did but now the phone is stock in erecovery mode when ask to download the latest version and recovery via wifi but fail every time.
I try to reset to fabric settings but don´t work.
i don´t know what happen and i don´t know what to do anymore.
Please anyone can help me?

is a gift, but i know is from gearbest but if i can resolve the problem here is better than send the phone to chine and all the process.

hm another bad situation. For your model isn't (or I don't know where) full firmware which can be useful. Try this, install HiSuite to PC and here is one section to repair phone, follow instruction in this program.
edit: try reset your wifi setting, setup for short without possword and try again download via eRecovery latest version

i have try the two methods but don´t work. via wifi fails everytime. via hisuite the recovey said the phone is not supported

you want to know if i can enter in menu fastboot? power and volume down key? yes and said Phone locked Frp lock. the android in the begin are 7.0 but after this happen i try to reset to fabric so now i don´t know.

in hisuite the only option is system recovery but the phone is not supported

i made the factory reset but the phone is stuck in startup. don´t exit the startup
i have some firmwares for this and i try lol if i can make this to work right i make here my all processe and links for everyone. but know i'm stuck on this

Hi I have a problem also with honor 8 with rom FRD-AL00, I unlocked the phone I installed the twrp recovery while installing the rom eu L09 the smartphone turned off black screen but it was a fastboot, i restored with the original ROM with DC -Phoenix everything ok but with android test, later because I'm stubborn, I tried to flash the rom L09 with DC_Phoenix successfully the L09 but I found them all changed zero and also the S / N, I tried several times to reflash with the Original rom but at some point it is briked the phone lights up alone when it is loaded and then comes into sdcard recovery but always with 5% and software install failed, even without SDcard inserted, does not vieve recognized by the PC, does not enter In fastboot, the PC only recognizes it when it's on the software install failed screen with the entry (Linux File-CD Gadget USB Device) this is the only way to connect to the computer. I also tried all the options with volume and power buttons but nothing. Looking for help as I can solve it?

Are you able to flash twrp?
Unfortunately, I can not get in any way to restart with recovery from SDcard but it does not recognize any firmware stops at 5% with the following message (software install failed).

No! I have already explained it does not enter fastboot and is not recognized by the PC, the only way is sd card but I tried various firmware stops at 5% even seza sd card.
When it enters sdcard recovery mode and connects to the PC it is reconnected in this way as a CDROM (linux file-cd gadget usb device).

I have honor 8 al00 . And the same thing happens to me. But you just need to put the firmeware on the sd card and start it from the bootloader.

I have a honor 8 al00, i can't restore ;-;
I was using Twrp, was trying to install RR https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-8/development/rom-t3606257 Somehow since iam a noob I most have done something terrible wrong, formated the phone in the wrong step or whatever, can't get in to Twrp again.
Huawei eRecovery says "Getting package info failed" after it tries to connect for a while over wifi. I know my files remain on the SD card in "dload", but I cant really reach them with the phone
I can get in to Fastboot&Rescue mode but from there I dont know what to do to advance. Phone unlocked & FRP unlocked. Android reboot reason: AP_S_ABNORMAL (well f me?) Cant connect thru HiSuite, at least I dont know how
I have re-download this file http://update.hicloud.com:8180/TDS/data/files/p3/s15/G1774/g1755/v101649/f1/full/update.zip but I cant really use it

I was flashing a custom rom, when i couldnt install GAPPS, i tried rebooting my phone, and it didnt work. So i went into TWRP and formated the device. When i reboot it get stuck on the device cant be trusted thing (from unlocking the bootloader.) So i go into the Huawei eRecovery, and try to install software with Wi-Fi. However it says getting package info failed. My PC doesnt recognise my phone either.
Is there anything i can do, please help.

Hi hope someone can advise as I'm loosing the will to live
I've a mate 8 NXT-L29C636 which I believe is asia region although I've from the UK
I was running stock android 6 with EMUI 4.0
When I ask it to check for any update, it always came back with no updates.
I saw plenty of threads saying they had updated to android 7 and 8 and how they done it.
So I downloaded Firmware Finder from Google play and without too much difficulty managed to start installing firmware. That's when my problems started
This was two weeks ago and I've been spending 100+ hours trying to recover.
I think it failed a 5% or something and since then my phone will not boot properly.
I can only fastboot it and sometimes to erecovery and EMUI to wipe/factory reset
Searching forums it seems DC Phoenix was the only software that could help so I bought it.
So far I've tried flashing firmware from DC-Unlocker site in standard more but all goes ok with success for all the partitions but it requires the phone to put into upgrade mode, something my phone never does and I can't force it.
So that leaves me with advanced mode, again all successful but booting the phone just gives the huawei logo then reboots again
I've tried different stock roms NXT-L29C636 but they all claim successful but still can't boot my phone
I've followed the steps in DC-Phoenix instructions to no avail.
The last step today meant shorting a pin to ground to force the phone into a mode when it was seen as windows as Huawei USB COM device, which seemed to work.
The instructions claimed I can use any NXT board flash as they're all the same and again all successful i used

so for any noobs out there, got this work. My problem was the phone would never go into upgrade mode. The problem was in device manager (windows 7x64 but doesn't matter which version of windows), was when DC-Phoenix tried to put the phone in upgrade mode the command was sent and acted on but device manager showed warning triangles that it didn't have a driver or the driver was only partially loaded.
When I directed it to the downloaded Hi-Suite (which has all the drivers) it loaded the driver(s) there are TWO drivers on virtual COM ports. So if you phone is not going into upgrade mode best to check that Windows can actually see these TWO COM ports.
