Hi, im having some issues with my rear facing camera. It has some darker spots. Unfortunately they are in the camera module itself, ive had cleaned the camera visor and it didn't help. I wonder if anyone here has replaced the camera module and if so, where did you buy it from. I've come across some
on ebay, but dont know if they are any good.

This should help you if you want to buy the OEM camera module.

its whatever camera app that you're using, thats not the stock camera app. try using the default camera app.
Isn't that snapchat? Anyways mine is perfect on snapchat

Happens in stock app/Facebook/Instagram/VSCO cam, I just took this particular photo while I was in Snapchat.
Maybe those apps have poor auto-white balance

Hey guys,
so i am considering to buy HAM7 and i love it. There is one major problem though. I dont like the camera that much. At least from what i see from reviews videos etc. And here is my question: is the front and back camera any good?? Does it ruin the experience for selfie lovers?
thanks a lot.

I have most flagship phones and I must say I was a bit worried about the camera but I decided to buy and what a great camera it is. The rear camera is excellent and front camera does the job saying most phones have a 2mp front cam but ham7 has 5mp.

Hi all,
Like the title of this topic says I'm having problems with main camera. I can't get any clear images at all and Ihave tried with a gew diferent apps just in case. Also I've tried to reboot my phone as well as cleaning camera and focus plastics. I've noticed that focus laser is blinking a lot when the camera app is running so maybe it's malfunctioning?
Can any1 shed any light on this b4 I claim my warranty?

I noticed that since the leaks. First I thought that will be the laser focus module for LDAF, but since I got Pixel 3 on my hand, I found that was too small to be a laser focus module than any other phone has.
Besides, I tried use another camera and pointed at the back of Pixel 3 when its camera open, there's no flash coming out of that dot like my Pixel 1 did.
So what is that dot exactly? It seems like a illumination sensor but I've got no idea why we need a illumination sensor on that position. Also I can't find any explanation on Google store website.

It's a Spectral + Flicker Sensor.
Pixel 3 phones don't have the laser autofocus anymore.

On a similar note, did anyone else notice that the black model of the Pixel 2 has it's sensors hidden behind tinted glass, but the Pixel 3's are on full display behind clear glass? I wonder why they changed this. I liked the clean look of the tinted glass over the sensors.

Which sensors do you mean?
Front-facing sensors like proximity and light sensor? Or the rear sensor?
If it's for the rear, that's because Pixel 2 had IR autofocus sensors, which are themselves deep black and therefore easier to hide. The flicker sensor of Pixel 3 is not black so it will always stand out.
Hi, while I was doing some "experiments" (better not ask...) on my OP7, I accidentally hit the upper rear camera (the 5 mpx one) and cut its flat cable. The main rear camera is ok. Now the built-in camera app is not working anymore, it says that it found some problem with the camera hardware and close itself, while other apps work fine (for example whatsapp camera or open camera from playstore).
Replacing that cam is a joke, since the battery cover is already removed, but I have trouble finding the spare part. All of the cameras I have found on the internet are only the main one (48 mpx). I was able to find only one ebay sale with both of the cams but it costs 50€ which is probably more than shipping the phone directly to Oneplus for the repair.
Do anyone know where I can find this cam? Or maybe a code for it that I can search?
