Stop Whatsapp Web flakiness - Android Apps and Games

For the last 12 months I've been running into this issue on multiple phones:
1. I hook up Whatsapp Web, everything is sweet.
2. After some time, Whatsapp Web stops syncing up, and I the message: "trying to reach phone"
3. I have to open up Whatsapp on my phone in order to get it to send a message to a server somewhere to notify that it's time to sync up.
4. Everything is fine on Whatsapp Web again, for a while. Then it happens again.
I've tried multiple phones:
KitKat 4.4
Marshmallow 6.0.1
iOS 10
At no point have I ever had a flaky internet connection.
Is there a phone out there where this doesn't happen?
I've tried turning off any battery optimizers, it still happens, even when the phones are plugged in!

[Q] i9003 issue: Address book keeps getting deleted, any solutions?

Hi everybody, i have the phone since oct 2011, tired of waiting for a kies 2.3.x i installed 2.3.5 and later 2.3.6 (never installed any mod, only official ROMS )using links and tutorials from this forum... works great, except for a fatal flaw: every 7-10 days tops ( but it happened 3 times in a single week) my address book randomly disappears in the middle of the day... e.g. i'm texting on whatsapp and suddenly instead of the contact name there's only the number... when i go for the address book i always find this exact situation:
- no numbers, no emails, no social... tabula rasa, blank
- if i try and change the visualization options, until i reboot the phone i can't even see the contacts in my SIM ( and when i reboot they magically reappear, they seem to be untouched), and nothing seems to be working, google account contacts are still safe on the server but the phone seems to be unable to see them ( works flawlessly in every other internet-related task)
after a while, and a reboot, and a restore from a backup i have on my microsd, situation seems to be back to normal, i can go back to visualizing only google contacts, sim and phone book both off... until it happens again, and again, and again...
did this happen to any of you, too? is there any way it can be fixed? it's really grinding my gears :\

This happened to me 3 days ago when using CM9, only thing i did was checking my contacts, played a little, checked the contacts again to get a number, and bam. EMPTY.
I wasn't convinced so i plugged the phone to my PC and launched moborobo, and guess what.. the contacts are there.
Got my numbers backed up, deleted the whole contacts there (invisible, from moborobo) and restored backed up contacts, didn't happen from that day.

No (not full) internet after device booted completely

Hello,
there is this strange issue I am facing at the moment:
When I boot up my phone, there is internet, I can browse via Chrome, I can fetch mails and everything.
But after 10 seconds, 99% of my connectivity is gone. Chrome says, "Oh no! there is a problem with the website" I am trying to visit (every website). Tugabrowser force-closes then, Aqua-Mail tells me the SSL-Certificate is invalid, Youtube just closes without any error. I can search for apps in the PlayStore and see results, but cannot download anything.
It doesn't matter if I try it using the LTE-connection of my phone or using WiFi.
When I reboot the phone, it works completely for the first 10 seconds and then I get the same problems.
To complete the strangeness: WhatsApp and Spotify work every time (I mean even after those 10 seconds, when everything else stopped working).
Help is highly appreciated.
Thanks a lot.
Best regards
Hecke

Whatsapp Web and phone notification

Heya,
So I'm using Whatsapp Web and every time I get a message, it instantly lights up my phone screen. This happens also if the chat is active, meaning I don't get a notification (of course not) but the screen lights up anyway. The phone is too fast to notice the notification, while my old S8 used to ignore notifications if I was on Whatsapp Web.
Any tricks to this? It uses a lot of battery for the screen to keep blinking on
It doesn't seem to happen to me. I'm using the same wifi for my phone and my laptop. My phone only beeps if I don't check the message on my web whatsapp on the laptop. Note that I only use the browser version not the macos whatsapp app.

I would have to agree with the previous comment, Im not finding an issue with the app giving me notification have you tried to uninstall it, or just reset the cache/data on the device. The only thing i know that can make it play up in the way you're talking about is if you have sideloaded GMS?
my issue is very different, while I'm connected to whatsapp web (phone and pc on the same network), after a while whastsapp web shows "phone not connected to the internet" and notifications doesn't show on the phone. After I open whatsapp on the phone, I recieve all the messages that weren't arriving.
When I connect to my cellular data on the phone and over wifi on the pc, there's no issues.
It seems that reinstall plus disabling "wake" helped. Now if I'm active on a chat, phone doesn't react, if I'm not, phone vibrates. Just as it's meant to be.
I have the "no connection" problem too. If you find a solution, please do tell

Whatsapp keeps stopping when connected to Internet

Hi guys,
I am facing a weird issue with my Whatsapp as mentioned in the title. The Whatsapp keep stopping/force close when connected to the internet (either by WIFI or mobile data).
I have a LG V20, Nougat with latest version of Whatsapp installed. It was all good until a few days ago Whatsapp showed the error message "Unfortunately Whatsapp has stopped". It gave the options to open the app again or send feedback. When clicked on open app again, Whatsapp opened for a split second then showed the message " Whatsapp keeps stopping" and gave the options of close the app or send feedback. When opened Whatsapp again, it force closed and keep repeating the same error.
I did not update my phone nor done anything to it. I have the latest Whatsapp version installed before the error occurred. However, about 2 days before the error occurred, I did remove and re-add Google account. I don't think that would cause Whatsapp error as I don't register Whatsapp through Google account and during those 2 days Whatsapp was operating normally. I don't do backup to Google drive, all backups were done locally on phone.
I have done almost all necessary solutions to fix the error but none of them work. I have:
1. restarted the phone
2. rebooted the phone into safe mode
3. cleared cache and data of Whatsapp
4. uninstalled and reinstalled Whatsapp from Google play store
5. uninstalled and reinstalled Whatsapp from Whatsapp's official website
None of the above works. The Whatsapp will force close when the phone is connected to internet. Until recently I noticed that, when the phone is totally disconnected from internet, Whatsapp can be opened normally. With the Whatsapp opened and I connect the phone to internet, it immediately show the error and force close. How strange is that?
So now, I only can type messages in offline mode and press send before connect the phone to internet. The messages can be sent out by keep opening Whatsapp repeatedly. Incoming messages are delayed and no notification at all, I have to periodically keep re-open the Whatsapp to check for new messages. When there are new messages I have to read them in offline mode. This is so frustrating.
I googled and the only one came to this:
OnePlus Community
Introducing our new OnePlus Community experience, with a completely revamped structure, built from the ground-up.
forums.oneplus.com
They seemed to have same problem (with different phones) with me and no solution.
In the mean time, I am also contacting Whatsapp support team, but their replies so far did not answer my problem.
Any solution to this weird issue would be very much appreciated.
Thank you

Issue with passkeys on android

Hi everyone
i'm using two android phones which are compatible with google passkeys. I have problem with my new phone, because i don't see notifications from passkeys to authorize my login request.
Basically my older phone is fine, no matter when i log in to any website which supports webauth/passkeys, i always receive notification, i'm scanning my fingerprint and it's working great omegle xender .
I also have newer phone which i purchased like 5 months ago and there i have problem. Both phones are listed on google passkeys website and both are registered as keys to various websites. Unfortunately when i decide to authorize myself on page through new phone i don't receive any notification on my screen. The only option i have to click "Use a different Phone or tablet", scan again code and then it'll work.
After this another scan, it'll work for few minutes? i receive normally all notifications, but after like 20 minutes it break again. I've checked and notifications are enabled for google chrome.
Any ideas on how to fix that?
