No (not full) internet after device booted completely - General Questions and Answers

Hello,
there is this strange issue I am facing at the moment:
When I boot up my phone, there is internet, I can browse via Chrome, I can fetch mails and everything.
But after 10 seconds, 99% of my connectivity is gone. Chrome says, "Oh no! there is a problem with the website" I am trying to visit (every website). Tugabrowser force-closes then, Aqua-Mail tells me the SSL-Certificate is invalid, Youtube just closes without any error. I can search for apps in the PlayStore and see results, but cannot download anything.
It doesn't matter if I try it using the LTE-connection of my phone or using WiFi.
When I reboot the phone, it works completely for the first 10 seconds and then I get the same problems.
To complete the strangeness: WhatsApp and Spotify work every time (I mean even after those 10 seconds, when everything else stopped working).
Help is highly appreciated.
Thanks a lot.
Best regards
Hecke

[Q] Help needed: HTC not booting beyong logo anymore

Hello dear forum,
something weird happened to my One S 2 days ago and I would need your help, since I am, not very smartphone-savvy. I will try to describe the problem as detailed as possible.
It is important to mention, that since a few months the phone's USB connection didn't work properly (I can charge the phone on the PC, but it won't be recognised as a device by the PC). Also the phone doesn't seem to have an SC card?? I never really noticed this, but now it puts an obstacle in my way cause there is no easy way to recover my gallery etc.
While I was manually updating my apps (at the time of the happening: WhatsApp and Skype), I suddenly got the popup message "Google Play store stopped working". I wiped recent apps and started the play store again. Suddenly, various apps (Google Drive, Gmail, Play Store, Clean Master, you name it..) all stopped working and I got a huge amount of these "stopped working"- popup messages, including "android.process.acore has stopped working".
It was impossible to get rid of the messages, because they kept appearing over and over again on the screen.
I tried to restart the phone, which didnt fix the problem. It seemed like my apps just kept crashing over and over. I rebooted again after a while and everything seemed fine. My data was also still there and wifi worked too.
But then the phone froze. I tried restarting it via the hardware button. Since then, the phone seems dead. It only starts when connected tot he charger, but always keeps freezing at the "HTC One S" startup screen.
Now I mentioned the USB connection was not working properly even before this happened. I still tried plugging the phone into the PC, and it seemed to be searching for drivers for a certain "QHSUSB_DLOAD".
I have no idea what this means and would like to ask you for suggestions on what to do (or if there is anything I could do at all). I don't have much hope, but the best case scenario for me at this moment would be to have my photos recovered.
Thank you VERY much for your suggestions, it will be hugely appreciated!

[Completed] [Q] Multiple apps not working on Sony Experia Tipo Duo ST26i

After being out for the day, when I went home I changed my battery and when I turned it on, every single program that starts up when you turn the phone on gives an error message, "google Play could not start" "Experia could not start" "viber could not start", Acor could not start" etc etc, I have to constantly press "ok" with all the error messages, when I get it to stop it is only for maybe 10 seconds. It seems to have disabled my logging on to the internet via my carriers sim card, so not internet to check or update programs. There are multiple google app as all not working. I have tried disabling all effected apps however that does not help, I have tried to clear the cache however it will not allow me to do so, it seems I have no ability in any function as soon as I try and go through settings to find some answers, i get the multiple could not open for the same ones that came up before, it is at least 10 error messages some simultaneously, some withing 1-2 seconds and then a 10 second break when it starts all over again. I can not remove any programs. I am wondering if a virus could do this to my phone?
I would appreciate any advice however please remember that I can not use the phone to access the internet anymore.
Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. I don't know for sure but it could be that when you replaced the battery a power surge caused a corruption of your OS. You might have to return to stock and start over. there is very little information on XDA about your device but i did find thid, http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-j-e/general/xperia-jst26i-roms-kernels-mods-how-tos-t2237164 They might be able to help you there.

[Completed] Browser Crashing...

1. HUAWEI ASCEND Y530-U00V100R001C900B189
2. Android version 4.3
3. Phone is rooted. Not quite sure with which app, i tried almost all of them and forgot which one worked... I think it's kingroot, i have a superuser app with the white lion in a blue shield, if that means anything ...
This problem has been happening for quite a while now, and after an extensive google search, and no luck at finding an answer to, i have decided to post my problem here.
So, basically my browser (doesn't matter which one i try) just randomly crashes... I tried chrome, mozilla, dolphin and one more that i don't remember.
At first i thought it was only when i play videos in my browser, because it crashed most of the time while playing videos, but recently it has gotten worse. Sometimes it works for a long time without crashing, and sometimes it only takes 30 seconds for it to crash. I'm not sure if it's same with games as well, they very rarely crash, but it happens sometimes the same way as with the browser, it just drops to the main screen, no warning or any message, and as i can see it's really random.
I already did a factory reset, but the root remained, so the only thing that i can think of is a full reinstall (downloading official huawei rom, and deleting everything from the phone), but i really don't want to do this...
Short version: Browser randomly closes, to the main screen, no warning or any message.
Any help is appreciated...

[Completed] Several Nexus 6p Problems

Is anyone else having an issue with Chrome freezing while loading pages or downloading files? If I pickup the phone after it's been sitting, pages other than Google get stuck at loading at like 25%. Trying to download APKS from apkmirror.com results in a download attempting to start, but always gets queued and even the Play Store updates just get stuck at "Downloading...". Doesn't matter if it's 3G, 4G, or Wifi. It seems to clear up temporarily if I restart, but it comes back soon after. I cleared data/cache of data manager and rebooted but eventually the problem comes. I tried to re-sign in again my Google account and the problem persisted. It only works temporarily when I reboot my phone.
Edit: I managed to "fix" the issue with the chrome freezing while loading pages by uninstalling Adaway. Is there another method, I really liked Adaway a lot.
We develop an ad blocker, and we're having issues with it, too, but on multiple phones. It's an issue with chrome more than anything else, as they have the ability to just throw money at messing with us smaller fish. Do you have a log of what happened, possibly?

Some apps taking forever to open and get stuck

Hi everyone.
I remember some time ago I updated my phone with one of those monthly updates (cannot remember which one was was it or when, but I do perfectly remember this started happening after an update). Since then I've been experiencing issues with some apps. Just some apps fortunately and not the ones I use often.
Basically, whenever I open one of these apps it takes at least 3 minutes to load (sometimes even more), then the apps gets stuck so I get a message saying if I wanna close the app or wait so I just tap wait. Even though I've been facing these issues with apps that I don't use often it is still veeeeery annoying and now I'm bringing this issue here because I recently started using an app for college and when I need it in class I should not have to be waiting 3 or 4 minutes just to have a single app open. I tried formatting the phone and did not have any luck. Has anyone experienced something similar? Any tips on how to fix this?
Some other apps I have issues with:
-Temple Run 2
-Runtastic
-I'm Ping Pong King
-Uber
There are of course other apps I have the same issues with, I'm just mentioning a few. The games do not only take forever to load, but are laggy as hell and literally unplayable.
You could go into Apps and wipe their cache, and see if that helps. If that does not, perhaps going into TWRP and wiping cache there. If neither of those methods work . . . maybe an OS file or two have become corrupt?
You do have a TWRP backup, yes?
Are any of the apps related by a process they use, e.g. wifi, bluetooth . . . ?
