I have a had bricked HTC One S I i was flashing recovery when all went wrong) The phone will not turn on at all and is only recognized in windows as QHSUSB_DLOAD. So i saw the thread on using linux to recover bricked phones http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1990043&highlight=device
The problem i have is i can find the device ID ok and issue the command to recover but when the command resets the phone it comes back with a different device id the same bus but the old ID plus one
Any body out there any ideas

Unfortunately that's a hard brick. Look for a jtag service is the only hope.

HTC OneM7 Immeditly boots to bootloader - No Operating system.
My HTC one M7 is booting up and then immediately going into the bootloader. At the top it says Tampered, Relocked, and Security Warning. Im using the HTC one M7_UL with S-ON and hboot 1.57.
Things i've tried:
Factory resetting the phone doesn't work at all.
I've tried using Fastboot ADB to unlock the bootloader, but windows 8.1 doesn't reconize the phone and the cmd window keeps saying "Waiting for device" when I try to find the identifier token. Any help would be appreciated, i'm trying to put HTC Sense back on the phone. Thanks!

hi, please my htc one xl evita_utl went off after i flashed a wrong firmware and refused to power on or charge since then, when i connect the hox to pc it displays "my htc" in device manager and it shows "tv0" with something like a love symbol on the command prompt please what do i do about it ihave search the htc one xl for similar problems but did not find any
I'm using HTC desire 816 dual sim running on android 4.4.2. I can't find the fastboot option in my power settings. I searched for it in whole of the settings but I'm unable to find the fastboot option. similarly, there is no OEM unlock option in my developer's options. besides these things my phone won't connect to htc sync manager even though I installed htc_sync.apk in my device. What can I do? I'm from India and I bought this device in singapore.
