Try this...( I'm not sure but...)
1. Install mobile drivers on pc and open Odin.exe
2. Connect phone to pc. Remove the battery.
3. Now, hold down VOLUME(-) and HOME key and POWER key together to get download mode.
4. While holding these 3 keys, (and your phone stll connected to pc) insert the battery.
Now Odin should detect your phone. If still it doesn't , then take it to the center.
If odin detects phone, flash the official firmware.
Hope it helps.
From personal experience...
I had the same issue with my old GFit. Tried everything! But no luck. Even builded a homemade jig and nothing. On anyway i try to get it to download mode the screen remains off. But i noticed that odin detects it but when i try to flash the stock firmware it says "cannot stablish connection". Also i took it to a store that fix phones and they said that they have a box or something for this kind of cases but no luck... So i got sick of it and bought another one cheap and lightly used...
Wish this is not your case

hi Ajay
can u pl. update the procedure by wch u recovered your phone, as it will behelpfull to many others..
a guy Manpreet is facing the similar issue.
It wud be a gr8 help.
pl update it in detail
Many Thanx
Dear friends
The process is bit typical here you need a jtag box and jtag cable. Basically in case of bricking boot file gets corrupted/ damaged. The jtag cable is inserted beneath the battery after removing the sticker beneath battery for boot repairing I advise you to look for suppliers of jtag box from their official site.
And then contact the local jtag box owner. Apart from that there is no other option. I have tried ODIN Multi Downloader it was not getting any response from mobile as mobile was not going into download mode. I tried jig cable too but it was not unsuccessful
After a month I checked jtag box site and got the address of their Delhi dealer and then I got my boot repaired and downgraded to Froyo.

Com ports and not finding phone

I feel like I posted in the wrong section, but upon plugging my LG phone into the computer and the little noise going on to know it's connected, I'm trying to unbrick it so I'm on the download mode on the phone and I go into the software I'm using to unbrick it and it won't show up when I want to select a COM, how come?

do not understand you well .
Well like, theres a program for LG phones, it resets the phone to factory settings but the program won't recognize the phone...I see it in device manager but not anything else
The phone is stuck in download mode or something

I don't know for sure, but if you have bricked it by trying to root or mod, I don't think the program from LG will help you. I'd search the forums and see if someone else has done the same thing and maybe posted steps to fix it.

It sounds like you may not have the phone in the right mode, or perhaps you don't have the right driver for the usb serial device?
It's tough to provide more specific help without knowing more about what model phone you have, which software you are using, what steps you took to get the phone into "download" mode, etc.
are you getting an error something like "fail to connect to the mobile handset, please check COM port and connect in idle screen. Due to the multifunction, despite the idle screen it can be failed to connect" please check the drivers on your pc which operating system are you using is the pc detecting other devices in the same port.

[Q] Micromax A100 Not switching ON

I have a Micromax A100 mobile which is out of warranty. I tried to update the ICS with Jb 4.1.1 and at that time the mobile got OFF and now I am not able to SWITCH ON the mobile .
I tried with VolDown + Power key at the same time to launch FASTBOOT and so many options like that. The mobile is not ON.
Actually at the time of installation of GRAND ROM V3, downloaded from this site, it got struck, showing the message ""ERROR 7, Installtion Aborted"". I manually operated the options ( dont exactly remember) and tried to REBOOT and then it got OFF and not SWITCHED ON till now for the past 10 days.
When I connect it to PC with USB Cable, it is NOT SHOWN as a device in MY COMPUTER but is showing in Device Manager as "Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008" . What does this mean and what to do to solve this issue.
If you people say it is BRICKED, what is the solution for this ?
How can I get back my phone back in ON condition ?
Thanking you in anticipation for a solution.

Actually Ur fone is a110 or a100 .If u r having a100 and flashed grand v3 rom which is for a110 u have hard bricked the fone .Can u enter into the recovery mode ?? Do u have a NANDROID back up ?
You flashed a110 rom on a100? Well then, yes it's partially bricked, since your bootloader is working as per device manager , so you can try to flash stock rom ofA100 on it using a flash tool meant for it.

Micromax A100 Switch ON Problem.
Friends,
Many of you told many options. My issue is unless it is detected by the PC (as a device under my computer), we will not be able to do anything as per me.
The other day I tried to do something using QPST V.2.7.402 and there also, the phone was detected as per the COM2 but capturing is not done and hence there also I was not able to do .
Understood from our forum only about UNBRICK. What does it mean and will there be any use of having it ? Also downloaded EAZY JTAG today morning using the links from our forum. Is it at all useful for me ?
To let all you guys know, the phone has no problem at all prior to this ROM installation. Now, am not able to SWITCH it ON.
As asked by Mr VISH97, I don't have any backup or I am not able to switch on the phone, so where is the point of entering recovery mode ?
As you guys say BRICKED is there any other solution for get back to working ??

If the board is bricked, nothing can be done, other than jtag method. Which necessarily doesn't work every time.

What causes hard brick?

I'm planning of installing a rom on my android device and made me thinking if i install a rom and something happens like hard brick... What causes hard bricked? Is there any way to fix it by not going to a technitian?
Sent from my SCH-I800 using xda app-developers app
Personally I think if it can be fixed it's not bricked. Bricking a phone is pretty much the end of the road for it I think. Others will correct me if I am wrong so best wait for more opinions.
Yes, you are right.
But: Often a so called "bricked device" isn't realy bricked, but the user isn't able to work it again. It depends only at the users knowledge, if he called it "bricked".
I've moded my first smartphone at beginning of this month, but if have modded many other devices before (many Fritz!Boxes, some PDAs, some Mediaplayer for TV, my TV, and many others), but i've never realy bricked a device, but somtimes got bootloops.

How do i keep my android device from getting brick when trying to install rom?
Sent from my SCH-I800 using xda app-developers app
If you want to be sure never to brick your device then just use it as it is. I think as long as you follow all the instructions and do research on it before doing it you should be ok. That's just my opinion though.
hi
hi..i have this problem aside from my stupidity that i flashed the wrong rom and yet flashed the wrong boot.img to my xperia go..after flashing the boot.img, my phone screen went black and nothing appears. i tried restarting but nothing happens. I tried to reflash with the original kernel if that's what it is called but i cannot go into fastboot. My computer doesn't recognize my phone anymore and the color of led light notification turns violet everytime i try fasbooting..
PLEASE help..
Tnx..
I think, you have succesfull bricked your phone!
It is possible that only your screen isn't responding, but it is in uploadmode. I would try it several times.
It's in Qcom USB download mode I think. Connect it to a windows pc, go to device manager and look for some 9008 device under com pkrts
