Redmi 3s or mi4C or other redmi 3-3pro - Xiaomi Mi 4C

hello, I search a phone for my little sister,
I have a 100€ not more, which one do you think is the best at this price between the 4 ?

I will vote for the REDMI 3s. I don't like phones which are 5 inch + .
the 3s has expandable storage

Mi4C has 5inch screen ...

Hello Jordan,
I see your request and it's easy to answer it in a row.
RN3S is the best and only good choice.
MI4C is obsolete and the 3S has many feature that you have to mind:
the battery is fantastic in use (I know I have tested it during one month, same condition as RN3SD and last longer) , you have ext SD and the phone construction is very robust it doesn't suffer after the JERRY's binding test (not the case for RN3).
about the perf nothing to say because I didn't play games with it but it is a medium end performer, much than enough for everybody daily usage.
The size is perfect in hand and pocket.
And the cherry on the cake you get B20 LTE if you need it.
Go forward
See you elsewhere!

I know . But others are not and since you posted it in here under the Mi 4C subforum it makes that by context I am comparint the 3s to mi4c.

Rn3pro for the great soc and custom rom support , just live with the size I guess

I have a note 3 pro for myself but it is a little bit too expensive

I think the only useful advantage of Mi 4C is its camera. Mi 4C camera takes amazing photos in good light.

Mi4c for better camera and better 1080p screen. Let us not forget that Mi4c is flagship series and not a Redmi. If battery life is #1 for you, then Redmi 3S.

Don't forget excellent 1080p screen!

Mi4C has a 64-bit processor. That's also a big plus

I'd probably still get Mi4c. Great screen, above average camera, fairly fast, great custom ROM selection. Mine has weak GPS, but that's the only bad thing I have to say about the phone (and I suppose it's not an universal problem since many ppl say theirs work great). Go with either one, you won't be disappointed. It can't get much better than this, considering the price point.

This phone is hot, shorter battery, weak gps and no sd card, if you can live with that, why not

I hesitate now...

You should consider the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Pro that came out November 4th. Dirt cheap on resellers sites, just about 10 dollars or so more expensive than Redmi 3S, but performance is obviously a lot better. Battery life shouldn't suffer a lot at all, since the SD 625 is very efficient.

I have a budget of 100€ not one more... it's for a kid...

Mate, just go for either Redmi 3S or Mi4C, both are great and if you're buying it as a gift, then even better. I'm probably a bit biased because I own a Mi4C, but still. I bought it a month ago and I couldn't be happier. The battery is completely okey, it lasts me the whole day without problems, camera is fantastic, the screen is gorgeous and from the technical standpoint it should receive community updates longer than Redmi 3S. But as I said, the Redmi 3S is a good phone as well, so whichever you'll choose, you won't go wrong.

Hi.
In my opinion (I have both devices), 3S is smaller and has longer battery but Screen is HD (thats one reason because battery is longer) and of course fingerprint (that really i never use). However, Mi4c has better resolution and powerful SoC, Wifi capabilities, and also double flash/camera for night photos.
Now I'm using Mi4c with Cm14 and I love it! Smooth, fast... and everything in bright and FullHD.

Mi4C or Redmi Note 3?

I m pretty sad because of that redmi note 3. It was released two weeks after I bought mi4c. If u haven't buy yet, I would recommend u to go for redmi note 3.
Just pick the screen size you prefer. They are both top performers, Mi4c slightly faster.

If you want a large phone, go for the Redmi Note 3, as it's nice and big, or wait for the Mi5. The Helio X10 is a nice processor on benchmarks, and apparently just barely beats the SD808 featured in the Mi4c. However, I doubt you will notice any lag or difference comparing the two phones, as Xiaomi does a nice job with MIUI7 for both phones. On the other hand, if you opt for a smaller screen size the Mi4c is probably for your.
If you're in the game to get most specs for the cheapest price, the Redmi Note 3 migth be right up your alley.

I don't know what they're thinking by copying the Samsung button even if its just for a fingerprint scanner, just doesn't look good.
I am not keen to get 5.5 screen, would be ok with a smaller one as well. Generally I thought SD is better than MTK, but again, SD808 is prone to heat. On the other hand I am not really interested about the fingerprint sensor as it is just a gimmick now. I like the USB-C on the mi4c, but that can be a curse as well. However the quick charge can be a benefit on the mi4c.
I am not interested in the mi5 as it will be much more expensive (imho).
Also, I don't know if the note 3 will get the same level of developers love as the mi4c does.
Decisions, decisions...

Agree. So i think i buy a Mi Note in black sometime. I like that design without Homebutton.
Obviously price of the phone will be a factor. I'm guessing £350 Max for 64gb.
SD is better than MT any day. And I won't buy any phone that has MT in it anytime soon.

Despite the heat issues?
i got both here, i am happy with my mi4c but the redmi note 3 is really nice! The redmi note 3 i for a friend because 5,5 is to big for my.
i just got one problem with the redmi note 3, in the plastic on the back make some strange noise if you press it, sounds like a film under it witch wasn´t removed.....
I decided on the Mi4C instead. I liked the size, the snapdragon 808, and USB type C as I've grown accustomed to it now that my 6P has it.

No heat issues if you can adjust the thermal config well, which Xiaomi didn't do, but easy to fix by taking one from other sd808 device that's proven to have solved that. I no longer have that issue since.

Doesnt the redmi note 3 have a ugly black border around the screen?

I seriously don't know if SD are better than MTK. Some MTK have beaten SD and vice versa. I guess the developers love SD, because (from what I've heard) the kernel have open source, which means that you can dig deeper when creating ROMS. But I'm not a developer, so I wouldn't know for sure.
My MI4c charges rather quickly... Maybe from a few % to 60% in about 30 minutes. The next takes maybe an hour or so, but at least I won't run out of juice... 60% is better than a few %, right?
Like you, I don't care about fingerprint scanner... It's just a gimmick using my precious battery...

I'm DONE with XIAOMI PHONES!!!

Before i say anything, just want to say that i was FAN of Xiaomi phone for almost 4 years, my first phone was Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 (2/16 GB Helio X10) and that phone really was GREAT for that price... that phone had great perfomance for what you pay and also had GREAT QUALITY!!! That phone after almost 3 years is still alive, the only problem with this phone is BATTERY but side from that IT WORKS GREAT!!!
Now, last year i have buy couple Xiaomi phones:
Xiaomi Redmi 4x (For my dad)
Xiaomi Redmi Note 4x (For my nephew)
Xiaomi Redmi 5a (For my Sister)
Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 (Global Version 4/64) for me!!!
Now after 3 month of use Redmi Note 4 (4/64 Global) this phone had Screen Retention that is very bad, right now screen is disaster for that phone, every time you use phone, you see shadows of last app used and icons. This was first time experience with this type of problem so i GOOGLE IT. After couple hours reaserch on net i found out that this is HARDWARE problem because Xiaomi use CHEAP screen called TIENMA PANNEL so to repeair i need to buy screen replacement because all phones that i buy are from ONLINE SHOP and you dont have warranty!!!
Now this same problem is also on my NEPHEW (Redmi Note 4x) he really watch his phone, because he did not go anywhere to save money for his first good phone and after 2-3 months he find out that have THE SAME problem as my phone... at that time i was afraid to buy any new phone from this company because 2/4 phone has the same problem.
But after seeing NEW Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Global Version i could not resist so i did Pre-Order this phone on 29 March (Aliexpress) and after 41 days on 10 May that long awaited phone has arived, this phone was gorgeous, it has great look, great camera, great perfomance and i did pay only 137 euro for 3/32 GB version so i was very happy with my purchase!!! But i did notice that screen was strange, it looked just like my Redmi Note 4 so i GOOGLE "XIAOMI REDMI NOTE 5 SCREEN RETENTION" but i did not see any thread about this problem so that was great news. BUT after couple of weeks i did see that someone have the SAME problem as Redmi Note 4 Screen Retention and at that time i was thinking to sell this phone before it get this problem but i did not wanted because i LOVE IT and i kept it.
Now TONIGHT after playing game (Clash Royale) i did notice on my NEW Redmi Note 5 on TOP LEFT AND TOP RIGHT shadow icons of that game and at that time i realized that THIS PHONE HAS THE SAME F*** PROBLEM!!! Now i'm really mad, really disappointed at this company!!! I can not believe that on 3/5 phone have the same STUPID problem. So i GOOGLE IT again and see what type of screen is my phone... couple hours research i did see that this phone has the same STUPID TIENMA PANNEL!!!
This is the last time for me buying XIAOMI PHONES, i had enough problem with this company and this was my last phone from this company!!!
Please share your expreince with Redmi Note phones, if you have the same problem please let me now down below!!!
Sorry for bad writing because i'm not that good at english!
All phones i did buy from aliexpress
Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Global Version (From Xiaomi Online Store) Screen Retention Problem
Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 Global Version (From HongKong Goldway) Screen Retention Problem
Xiaomi Redmi Note 4x (From HongKong Goldway) Screen Retention Problem
Xiaomi Redmi 4x (From HongKong Goldway) NO PROBLEM
Xiaomi Redmi 5a (From Xiaomi Online Store) For now NO PROBLEM
I got the same phone 4/64 variant with tianma screen. Not a single issue so far. I've been using it for two months with some heavy gaming and everything stills perfect.
I also don't have that issue. Let your phone rest man. And don't always use it on full brightness. Go to display settings > contrast and set to COOL.
Even flagship devices has that problem. What would you choose an amoled burn which is permanent or image retention which is temporary???
Redmi note 5 from gearbest no issue in daily use auto brightness.
Lol, okay. No problems here

Go do research about other phones in this price bracket. People pay 130euros for really good specs, then expect phone to be perfect. Seriously, screen burn in, retention and stuff like that is quite common faults nowadays, even pixels have huge problem with burn in, same for lg.. and those are phones that cost 8x the price of xiaomi. And the fact that majority of users dont have these problems, leads me to believe its the way you use your phone thats harmful. Maybe you always leave it on max brightness, also contrast.
Lot of anti Xiaomi trolls these days... I don't know what people expect... May be it's the AliExpress/wish effect... Low price, low price, ever and ever.

Better VFM - Poco F1 or Redmi Note 6 Pro?

I do not change phones very often. I have a redmi note 3 for about 3 years now, and I was looking for Mi 8 to launch in India for a possible upgrade. That's not likely to happen, and Redmi Note 7 is not likely to get launched in India for another month (at least). However, my phone has recently developed some issue which makes the display blank out randomly. Once blanked, it doesn't return for a few seconds (and sometimes for a few mins). Further, there is a constant earphone icon (without any earphones connected) which forces me to take all the calls on loudspeaker mode. This could be due to the recent fall (my phone has several scratches dents due to various falls from different heights), and that makes build quality an important consideration. Thus, I need to buy a new phone at the earliest.
A sale is going to start in a couple of days, which is offering Poco F1 (6/64) @ 19K and Redmi Note 6 Pro (4/64) @ 13K. I'm not much of a gamer. My primary phone usage include: browsing quora, and wi-fi hotspot from my 4G network. What I'm additionally looking for is good build quality, good battery life, and decent rear camera.
Based on the above requirement, and your experience, could you please recommend between Poco F1 and Redmi Note 6 Pro?
My two cents:
It depends on your budget and your expectations.
In my case, I bought the Redmi Note 6 Pro as a secondary phone, trying to keep the budget the lowest possible.
The battery life is amazing, the phone is snappy enough for my usage, Wi-Fi hotspot works great (in particular thanks to the Dual SIM, I have a specific SIM card specifically for data that I am tethering to my laptop), and games are okay in my standard (never playing more than 2048). Camera is decent in day light but not very good in low-light (heck its a 160€ phone!). It is also true that the 636 is starting to become old but it is still very much up to date.
The F1 is already a more flagship phone, with more ROM support and more popularity so I expect it to have support for a longer period of time from the community.
On the other side, the Note 6 Pro is starting to pick up now with more ROMs that can improve the user experience if you don't like MIUI.
Overall, if you have the budget for the F1 go for it, but if you don't feel like spending it the difference then the Note 6 Pro is also a very good choice

FlipKart kind of decided it for me. Bought RMN 6Pro @ 11,700/-, whereas the Poco could be had for 18,250/-. Somehow nearly 6.5k price difference (over 50%) didn't look just vis-a-vis my requirements. Although, if you can wait (I couldn't), 7 Pro may arrive in March.

In my experience, Asus phones are good initially, but somehow do not have as much longevity as Redmi (considering avg life span of 1.5 yrs for ASUS, and 2.5 yrs for MI among all my acquaintances) . MIUI updates are also more frequent, if you aren't looking for custom ROMs (I stopped using custom ROMs ever since MIUI). Also, haven't heard much good things about Max Pro's camera, though battery definitely looks impressive, and with some optimisations it should be able to provide at least 2 more hrs of SOT.

Which cell is just as good as the 20x mate?

What After adding to Huawei blacklist Trump that big screen cell phone would be good to buy. I love my 20x mate but let's be honest this will affect a lot to Huawei and q out your operating system and my OS) or is apps that has Google market are going to happen years it is possible that the factory only dedicated to continue selling in China and no longer internationally.
I honestly don't think there are any as good.
I didn't want to buy a Huawei because I'd much rather have an unlocked bootloader, but for me, the big screen, active pen, big battery, and fast cpu are too important to give up.
If you don't mind a slower CPU and no pen, but still want the huge screen, go with the Mi Max series.
If you want the pen, go with the Samsung Note 9.
I you just want an overall good phone, then there are plenty of other options depending on your priorities.
But I'd stick with the Mate 20 X. We shouldn't be affected that much. I'd guessing there will still be software updates for next year or so. I just bought mine 2 weeks ago and don't regret it at all.
I want a mate 20x another brand y
Cmon, u really run already.
All will be good again in one way or another [emoji1787][emoji23]
ZenFone 6!! Looks promising.
Actually i would go for zenfone as first choice, then mi max and in last place this could be samsung note series, depends on what battery will be in 10 release.
I'm thinking about the Oppo Reno 10x Zoom, nice looking phone with full flat screen/no notch, camera upgrade or the Nubia Red Magic 3 with a 90Hz screen and also a 5000mAh battery. I now that that both are 6.65 inch and smaller then the Mate 20 X, but i hide the notch from the begin, so i think the difference wil not be huge.
The ZenFone 6 is a no go for me, because it doesn't have a amoled screen. I really don't want a new phone without it.

Yeah I am in the same boat...I mean already the Mate 20 x looks like a Hobbit compared to where I was coming from mediapad X2 and Sony Z3 Tablet Compact so I am having a hard time adjusting to the much smaller size but of course, the hardware itself is WAY above both of those phablets I had before.
All of these other phones are much narrower and smaller than the 20 X. A friend of mine wanted to try the OP7 Pro and we went to T-Mobile yesterday and he bought one to use along side his 20 X but after a day he said it's probably going back as it's just way too small. The camera isn't as good and the battery life isn't even close to the 20 X. My advice would be to keep the 20 X until another manufacturer decides to make a phone as large as the 20 X.

But the OP7 Pro looks smaller because it has curved glass, what i really don't like.
I still think it's all going to blow over and in a few months the wotsit in a wig and china will come to some sort of agreement, somewhat annoying that Donald making a decision like this affects us non Americans!
But, if the worst happened, as long as the play store etc was ok then I'd probably just carry on and keep using the Mate 20 X, Android P works fine for me so I can live with the phone staying as it is for another 12 months or so.
The only tempting part will be when the Pixel 4 and Note 10 are released and seeing what they are bringing with them, but they'd have to offer something ridiculously special which i doubt they will do

The OP7 Pro also has a 19.5:9 aspect ratio which is skinnier than the Mate 20 X's 18.7:9 and the crappy curved glass doesn't help. It sucks with phones when you live in the US. Not a lot of Global devices support all the US LTE bands.
Hi guys,
What other phone is just as good as the 20x ?
Answer is really simple : NONE.
Please don't get me wrong : I am by no means a Huawei/Honor fan.
Quite the opposite...
But let's face it : what other manufacturer offer a display that is close or above 7" ?
Answer here is really simple : there are only 2.5 manufacturers doing this :
- Xiaomi with the mi Max 3 ;
- Honor with the Note 10 and 8x Max ;
- Huawei with the Mate 20x.
Compare the 20x with the mi Max 3 and the Honor 8x max is of course not a question. They're simply not playing in the same league.
One may say whatever he wants about the Kirin SoC, but comparing a Kirin 980 with e snapdragon 636 is just not fair.
And comparing an IPS display with an OLED one isn't a fair comparison either.
So that leaves the Honor Note 10.
But it may have the same issues as Huawei. about Android.
And to make things clear : the developlment of Android has been halted to Huawei.
But :
- that doesn't mean that the past is getting rid off ; so if the phone is working right now, it will continue to work right after...
- Huawei still has access to the free source aosp and has enough power to continue to offer some updates based on that. And honestly : who is buying Huawei for the frequent updates ? You want a phone that is updated constantly ? There's only one manufacturer to go : Xiaomi... monthly updates for all their phones.
Just my own thoughts and expressing a personal opinion. I don't try to force my views on this upon any member of this community. So please, do not flame me if you disagree...
Regards.
I had all 4 phones, now i only have the M20X which is so much better the the other 3.
Then comes Note 10, Mi max 3 and 8X max.
And im satisfied as it is, so i can live with it 1 year more if.
I just hope Ark OS soon will be released, im ready to support that vs Trump/US/Google/Android no matter what. This fake president shall not decide my choice of phone.
Even if I am upset about Huawei system update policies, I've never been so comfortable with a phone before (well, maybe the Ascend Mate 7).
- The REAL dual speakers are incredibly outstanding. My wife ditched the iPad Mini-bluetooth speaker pair to start watching anything video-related on my 20X with me. We are really impressed.
- Speaking of multimedia, the screen is simply gorgeous.
- I hadn't ANY issue with ANY game. Period. I know the 855 is all around the news today, but this Kirin is nowhere behind. It flies.
- Calls are loud and crisp, seomthing which is really important for me.
- We have an LG Smart TV with webOS. It took me like 1 minute to launch the desktop from the 20X. I've tested it a couple of times, but I think this feature is something I will start using more frequently in the future, for sure.
- One of the best cameras around, even in night mode. No, no GCam needed, it does its work effortlessly and fluidly, something every frigging flagship camera should do (and not every one of them do).
Even if I only get security patches for the rest of its life, I'm keeping this beauty for a LONG time.
I also love the speakers, what phone has two real speakers? Mostly the second speaker is the call speaker now and that's sounds bad. The same with the IR blaster, what new phone has that?
I wish that 5G version was a nice upgrade (WQHD+ screen, higher ppi, 90hz, under–screen fingerprint, more ram/storage, no notch, more zoom camera), but it looks more like a downgrade.

Great great battery life better than 20x imo (but then performance is a price you pay-could be the Mediatek versus Kirin and just s/w ui polish missing)
EDIT it does have OEM bootloader unlocker option that you can choose and set active
not tried it yet-maybe it is a simple fastboot unlocker command without code (don't know untl I try or I might ask the company contacts who sent me the ROM and instructions etc)

good you got a laugh from the wrong end he he
for calls, sms, mms, internet and most apps same result for 1/3rd the price
the 0.3 cumulative seconds saved over time did not change my life (doubt changes anyone's in reality)
definitely the 20x feels better no doubt having used both

I had all 4 phones, now i only have the M20X which is so much better the the other 3.
Then comes Note 10, Mi max 3 and 8X max.
And im satisfied as it is, so i can live with it 1 year more if.
I just hope Ark OS soon will be released, im ready to support that vs Trump/US/Google/Android no matter what. This fake president shall not decide my choice of phone.

the mi max 3 imo was the best among the lot and I liked it more than the 20x ...the lack of network bands support (only 4 and 5 for Tmobile and ATT, and ATT does not even broadcast on 4 in my state, 5 is very spotty-so it was mostly on 3g or umts) otherwise mi max 3 with miui candy was the best also from balance, weight and feel standpoint
too bad no mi max 4 and mi mix 4 will never get a 6.9 variant
it seems to me that the OEMs are walking away from the large screens
why? 8x max came in the 7.2" first that the mate 20x eventually got
now 9x max is only coming in the 6.59" (as is the 9x)
then you have Xiaomi not doing the max 4
so that tells me the 6.9 to 7.2 era is done or on a pause for now
instead get 6.6 and 6.7 super skinny phones purporting to be large screen phones when they are not due to the elongated aspect ratios
Unfortunately true, aspect 19.5x9 or new 20x9 is killing size, 6.7inch samsung a70 or op 7 pro have real size of old 16x9 phone 6 inch. This is nothing.
I think also that they kill 7 inch products to make space for foldable phones which costs few times more...
But still I hope Huawei will make 30x! Not just hope, but really think it is real.

Pocofone f1, Mi8 or Mi9T (redmi k20), what should i buy?

Hi everyone! I want to buy a new phone and I'm in for these 3. I'm a moderate user, focused mostly on YouTube and Netflix, some games (arena of valor mostly), and general Web use. I want a good screen, good battery life and decent performance. Mi8 don't have a headphone jack, but have a AMOLED display. I don't know about the quality of pocophone screen, and the Mi9T screen seems to be so gorgeus. Anyway, what you can tell about this three, especially for videos and games?
Get the poco add me on aov my name is GRAZED
Mate, go to a store, look at the phones your interested in and make a decision...
Each persons view is unique and what sells me a phone may be unimportant to you... You will probably find people here are a little biased towards the Pocophone. If you go to those other phone forums you will probably get most people saying to get their phone as they will be biased there, and most people won't downtalk their product (unless it's REALLY bad) due to the fact we like to think our product/advice is best...
There is a myriad of videos on youtube extolling the virtues/problems with each phone...
In the end it comes down to you...
lets reverse the analysis
why you should not buy Mi8 (over Pocof1)
- it has similar soc
- no 3.5mm jack
- no expandable storage
- lower battery
- same big notch like pocof1
why you should not buy mi9
- where its SD855 & larger Screen to Pocoft & Mi8.... the battery is even smaller than Mi8
- No 3.5mm jack &
-no expandable storage
- the chipset has broken in to more complex setup where 2.4ghz x1 single and rest stays on lower end unless required, perhaps this way mi9 is saving batter
- poco f1 &mi8 chips set is gold/sliver plated but mi9 specs on gsmarena doesn't mention any such
now why you should buy POCO f1 in 2019..?
- other MI successors are usually missing headfone jack and expandable storage (this is v imp for me / i don't know about u )
- with a few niptuck differences on mi8 / mi9 you will pay more on these devices where Poco f1 is relatively cheaper now.
- soon 5g devices will be out THEN it makes more sense to upgrade and if you buy Mi8/mi9 .. they both are 4g devices only then you will left with no choice to force upgrade yourself! , so its better to buy Poco f1 on cheaper prices NOW so that by next 6-9 months when market is saturated with 5g devices you can easily upgrade.
another angle for pocof1
- local shops have many accessories and you will able to find covers/wallets/protectors etc (poco f1 screen protector is same as Iphone XR ) ( my poco has Iphone XR 9h strong screen protector, fits 99% accurately!
- POCO F1 is Very popular device (after Redmi Note5 / 5+ / 5pro) and XDA has so much on Pocof1 already, many rom, methods, easy to root tips! where for Mi8/mi9 you will have to wait many weeks for developers to release stable roms! ,,
i always check these things before buying any device(s)
dont buy anything from xiaomi see damn freeze thread and youll see the pain if you got corrupt xiaomi device like ****y poco

i have used mi 9t, mi8 and poco and i can say mi 9t is the better option overall. Especially with with your use, there are no reasons to buy mi8 or poco, because arena of valor run smoothly on mi 9t and is the better option to play it thanks to the gorgeous display it has

There is no reason buying MI 9T if its not PRO. Poco and MI 8 actually the same but MI8 is a flagship and gives better experience using of it... but at the same time it has lower battery capacity. Im using Poco F1 for 7 months for now and thats the best phone i've ever used just because of SD845. So i definately recommend it.
I have the Pocophone F1 and I would say it is a decent phone.
I'm gonna say between Poco F1, Mi 8 and Mi 9t, there's not much difference. But i'll try to look at the best feature in them.
Mi 8? It has the Super AMOLED, corning glass 5, HDR10 screen, best screen. Great camera (+telephoto, OIS), sufficient enough. SD845 Adreno 630 on par with Poco F1.
Mi 9T? The latest device. AMOLED, corning glass 5 screen. Camera is supposed to be the best. 48MP (+telephoto, ultrawide), under display fingerprint (if you like that, idk for me). Headphone jack. USB OTG is there to compensate for the less expandable storage. 18w 4000 mAh battery.
Poco F1? SD845. Expandable storage, headphone jack, stereo speakers, USB OTG, 18w 4000mAh (QC 3.0) battery. The lowest cost among these three, or probably the same cost as Mi 9T (depends on your country, idk)
Of course there's pros and cons between them. And I saw a lot of pros in Mi 9T that actually makes me eager to get it (if only I hadn't buy Poco) Anyway choose one that fits you.

my poco works perfect? might be some of your apps making device hang..
you need to explain what's installed and which rom you are using? even Miui10 which build? ( Stable (china/global) / developer (china/global) ) (rooted /nonrooted?) etc
Don't believe any positive comments about poco here. Poco is one of the ****ty device i have ever seen. It has famous touch issue that's still not solved and can't be solved through software updates. Camera is below avg. Phone hits up when its a plastic body. Durability is bad. Software updates are bad. Only battery backup is good because of it's large battery capacity.
Have my poco since it was out, am very pleased with it, no problems what so ever. Will trade it up for mi9t pro once it is released.

I am fine with my POCO so far!
Keep in MIND that POCO is NOT flagship device ! and like any other high mid range android devices it has pros and cons! but you are highlighting CONS only! ?
-POCO is highly managable and xda has many roms/mods! since i am using my Poco on HAVOC I don't have hanging problem but I had used poco on MIUI initialy and It was fine too!
- camera is OK, the highlight of this fone was never camera, infact the camera is better than many midrange Xiaomi Phones
- All phones heats up! but the good part is , on havoc , even the phone feels hot on touch! it never hangs!
- yes i have noticed touch problems BUT on Franco/Twisted loop kernels because they had been changing kernel drivers , and even on franco, the touch problem is rare and if you switch on / off screen, it fixes it self! however if I use any other kernel, it stays just fine!
I have adjusted myself to many devices because of their limitations! but poco is so far best device that i have able to customized according to my wishes

you are forgetting the main thing. we have no enough time for unlocking bootloader, flashing rom, modification etc etc. we are giving our hard money to Xiaomi not xda devs. xda devs are best in all way. we want the best in stock like OnePlus did.
all of us don't know how to flash roms and not even interested. we got poor lcd panel and they should admit that. instead of it we are being told to remove screen guard to solve touch issue. this is bulls*** man.
poco isn't flagship but not even close to flagship killer dude.
look because u watch netflix get mi9T global verison because its support widvine L1 and it will support HD playback i am useing pocophone f1 even after they add the widevine support its doesn't play hd so i think it should be on the phone from the factory to work and mi 9 also has the same support with better soc but less battery so choose between thoes 2 forget about pocophone the screen not good with video playback

who are "WE" who don't have time?
-the fact you bieng on xda/replying/reading and answering makes you expert on this topic already !
-also predominantely if you don't like MIUI then POCO is not your only problem! then you should try ANdroid one devices like oneplus (oxygen is pretymuch stock android) and / or Nokias
- as i said! POCO is NOT flagship and and their lcd panel is SAME same same as Note5pro!! however i never face touch problems! of any kind!!!!!! used miui 10 on my waiting period and it was just perfect! perhaps you got a faulty device ORRRRRR Xaiomi made a Special POCO for me

TLDR: Buy the Mi 9T, don't even wait for the Pro version. You won't miss anything on the Pro given your declared use-cases, all of those that you mentioned you can do on the 9T + more money for you because it's significantly cheaper.
Here are the things I noticed about the Mi 9T:
1. As we all know, the build and the cooling system of the Mi9T-series were spec'd to deal with SD855 high-performance SoC which is and certainly an overkill for the SD730.
2. As explained in #1, what you would get is significantly higher run-time for the performance cores + GPU on full load (max clocks) when you have a lower TDP SD730 SoC.
3. SD730 also sips power at full load and is overall having lower power consumption (then the Pro) which also converts to longer run time per single full charge.
Remember that you have a phone with passive cooling which could always be saturated especially during summer. The question is that for how long before saturation? Simple, SD730 would take longer time to saturate a cooling system designed for SD855, that's it. I always notice people getting disappointed gaming on a phone with SD845 (for example) and got mad because it could easily throttle at FULL LOAD, where is the liquid cooling? What the cooling system is doing? My answer would be: With great power comes faster passive-cooling saturation.
Forget Mi8, very small battery for gaming, lowest runtime of the 3.
Forget Poco, it's overkill for your use-cases (SoC-wise) and it's camera is dated and offers less utility as compared to the cameras of the Mi9T.
Buy the Mi9T, it's best for the price and the use-cases you have stated. I also has the overall highest battery run-time of the 3.
Oh, the Mi9T Pro? Forget it, just buy a Mi9T with the biggest storage space and call it a day.
I am using a POCO F1 since September 2018. It had its own set of problems like screen touch issues etc.
Right now you should go with Mi9T because:
1. Better Screen. Poco screen is **** literally. If you dont bother about touch issues, even then the poco's display is very average.
2. SD730 is more than enough for a 1080p screen. Although Sd845 is stronger on paper, you wont make out much difference in performance unless you are into heavy gaming.
3. Design.. Poco's design sucks literally.
4. You get better camera, same battery but more power efficient chipset leading to a longer battery life.
5. Mi9T loudspeaker is louder than poco's speaker.( Poco's secondary speaker is barely audible and just for the surround effect)
6. Mi9T will get updates longer.
Poco will have less resale value now.
Unless you are into gaming, avoid poco f1. But beware that none of these will play Netflix in HD.
However if you can wait a bit and willing to spend extra, get the pro version.will be worth it.
