Hi,
I use tasker to redirect incoming calls to my landline phone as soon as my phone is connected to my home WIFI and reverse this when disconnecting from WIFI. Each redirection generates a pop up telling me, that now calls are redirected and vice versa. This is annoying as I've to press OK each time and every thing I do is interrupted by this message. My phone (LG G5) is NOT rooted and I don't want to root it. Is there any chance to suppress these pop ups?
TIA

Hi.
I have a HTC Sensation with calling problem. Very often, when I try to call someone, right after I press the call button, the phone gives short "peak" and terminates execution of call and returns to the list of contacts. Sometimes I have to do a few and sometimes tens of call attempts before the phone starts normally make a call. This only happens when the phone has an active mobile network (Internet) connection. When I turn mobile network (Internet) connection off, then everything works normally.
What is the source of this problem? How to resolve it?
Can you help me please?
Thanks!
Andrew
Here's the endpoint - I want to have an internet connected device in my hand that can make and receive calls and send and receive texts, regardless of whether I have mobile coverage. As long as it's on the internet, I want to be able to use it as a regular phone.
I'm halfway there.
I have an Android phone with my primary number, plugged in and connected to WiFi in my flat, a good mobile signal area. I can install MySMS on it to handle texts, then the tablet app on the device I keep with me. That's SMS sorted.
What I need is some way of making a voice call over the internet to that handset, and routing that out via my cellular provider. And automatically routing incoming calls over the internet to the portable one, or if I'm making a cellular call, have the caller ID display the number of the phone in the flat.
Basically, I think I want to turn an Android phone into a Google Voice server, just for my use.
Can this be done?
Thanks
looking for the same. have you found something ?
I never did
I've found that whenever I make a call, there is a long pause before the call is connected and actually starts ringing, up to 30 seconds at times, but the call eventually goes through. This is not the case when calling voicemail however, after the pause it hangs up and says "call lost" before connecting. I have yet to be able to access voicemail. I've tried calling voicemail in a few different ways, it's all the same. Any ideas?
HI all,
My gf's phone behaves in a really strange way...
During an audio call using common communicators, say skype, whatsapp, messenger, if a new incoming gsm/lte connection is coming, then it automatically takes priority over communicator call. Communicator call is put on hold.
What is most annoying, is that you are not able to inform the person on other side of the line that there is a new incoming connection - no, the second incoming connection is appearing on screen, current connection is put on hold. To clarify, user can chose whether to accept or cancel new incoming call, but the 'communicator' call is already on hold;(
I find this most annoying coming from iphone environment, where I have full control on all live and incoming connections and where no connection is prioritised. When im on a whatsapp audio call and a regular gsm connection is coming, I can let other person know that I have incoming connection and decide to answer, cancel or put current call on call. I find this rather normal behaviour. Unfortunately this is not the case on my gf's phone which drives me nuts
Please let me know if this is case of specific ROM, or android os in general? I hope you could guide me toward an easy solution, hopefully not requiring reinstalling new rom. Many thanks!
Phone is running MIUI Global 10.2.1.0, Android 8.0.0.
Hello everyone
I got a poco x3 pro for christmas and I've noticed if I have wifi or mobile data turned on when I receive a call the phone rings but has no notification for anywhere from 2 -5 seconds, and sometimes the person just gives up because I "dont pick up" , the thing is , the phone simply does not give me option to anwser the call.
I suspect it to be xiaomi's(or a default 3rd party) caller ID trying to identify who it is.
If i turn off both mobile data and wifi the call notification pops up and if I receive a call when either are turned of its instant aswell. I use WhatsApp all day , everyday, so turning internet access off is not an option.
My question is : Is this a feature that i can turn off? As in , use only the contacts on my phone instead of a 3rd party service??
Thanks in advance
