Boot back into recovery and do a dalvic /user data wipe then a cache wipe then re instal your rom. make sure the rom you installed is for your phone.
Guys,
As using LG's software to update, my phone restarted itself after downloading then it went to S/W upgrade screen then the program says remove the battery bla bla and restart after I did that program never recognized my phone again and everytime I power on my phone it goes to S/W upgrade. Then I go into clockwork recovery and re install CM7 but still can't pass the S/W upgrade screen any ideas?
Ps. I know there is a topic like this but after they go into recovery mode, it somehow went back to normal but mine didn't.
I was on stock, never rooted before, when I tried updating. I'm now stuck on that same S/W upgrade screen. I've been trying many things, but I do believe I may have a brick. The LG software is giving me this error now.

Going to be a bunch of bricks if this isn't figured out. I am in same boat. All stock.
If any of you guys figure this out, let us know.

Excuse me, but how did you get the software to show the log on the bottom of the jpg that you attached?
I was stuck at 4% for a while, so I clicked the update tab that was flashing and all of a sudden it started up again.
It all looked good, I have Gingerbread, but for Baseband version is says "Unkown" and I can't choose a network under Network Operators. Nothing shows up under search. When I go to Access Point Names, I do see T-Mobile US and everything looks to be the same as before, but I only have WiFi access.
Use [RECOVERY][APP]Update 6-16: One-Click ClockworkMod 4.0.0.2 NvFlasher
Flash CWM follow instructions
Boot into recovery
Wipe
Restore backup (I used stock rooted)
Remove Batt
Reinstall Batt and boot into recovery
Start LG Update
Now should see the phone and you can update
Mine is still updating will see if it finishes
Failed sent me to support
Links to the app your talking about and what all your talking about. Everything you said is foreign to me.
For those stuck try booting into bootloader volume plus power button. The hit reset froM there see if that works

Volume Down? Doesn't that just boot into recovery? Where does it say reset? I'm confused.
It doesn't
My will show the box and the little android and then boot to the S/W update screen

Same here, that's the stock recovery screen. I can flash either stock or clockworkmod from the apx loader by holding volume up and down, then plugging in the phone without the battery and using the nvflasher to flash whatever recovery I want. Other than getting into the recovery...I can't do anything without the S/W Upgrade screen coming up..damn you LG, damn you to hell.
Volume up plus power not volume down my mistake

Hello all.
Today mine optimus froze at LG logo screen for no reason, and its been like this no matter what i do.
I already updated it with the LG update tool on the emergency/recovery option, it downloaded a 368mb file and flashed into, but when I turn on the phone again it get stuck on the logo anyway.
I can't get into recovery mode either (vol down + 3d+ power), it ALWAYS get stuck on the LG logo.
Then I also tried flashing as mentioned here showthread.php?t=1540163 , it completes all the process but again when I turn the phone on it get stuck.
Anyone hane any idea? I'm about to throw it on th toilet
I had the same problem, deleted the drivers, tried again. Somehow it worked after a few tries.
I'm about to flash with the lg emergency /recovery for the 12th time haha.
I don't see how I will get anything diferent from the other tries.
I have the same problem after installing a Thiaiz rom.
Can you explain step by step how you recover from this issue?
Thank you
Are you sure you are flashing it right? Anyway try this.
Step 1
download
V21a from here:
http://content.wuala.com/contents/caroceiro/optimus 3d/roms/ORIGINALES/V21A_00.kdz?dl=1
or
V21d from here:
http://content.wuala.com/contents/caroceiro/optimus 3d/roms/ORIGINALES/V21D_00.kdz?dl=1
Step 2
download this
http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=887870&d=1328537753
Step 3
make sure you have installed your lg phone drivers before continuing to the next step
Step 4
unzip LG_KDZ_FW-Update_OfflineFix.zip
you will find a filename Automatic Offline Procedure.vbs
run it
if everything runs ok it will take you to the upgrade tool if not it will probably show you a windows script host error
if that happens try running it manualy from folder
LG_KDZ_FW-Update_OfflineFix
KDZ_FW_UPD_EN
KDZ_FW_UPD.exe
as soon as KDZ_FW_UPD.exe select Type: 3qct and PhoneMode: Emergency
select your downloaded kdz file , now you should take off you battery , press volume up and power on the phone , connect the usb cable and after 5-6 sec release the buttons and put the batery
Press Launch software update
It will take some time to decompress the files but if everything is ok it will start.
You will see the progress with various messages the last message ends with 0
That should do the job..
I will try this again but the links are incomplete!
Did it again, got the 0 on the end but still stuck at lg logo when booting it up again.

One correction: LG has removed v21D from their servers almost 10 days ago.
As I post above, I had the same problem.
The only way to solve it was go to the local LG support.
They verified that the phone (it was been rooted by me and the custom CWM installed) was in the warranty period and, without any questions in 2 days they put the phone in my hands as new with the acual gingerbread firmware. No costs for me.
Good service!

Yes. Lisboa/ Alfragide/Parque dos Moinhos. The assistance agent is "Mobile All" indicated to me by telephonic LG Client Support.
As a reason for the problem I said that when turned on the phone just don,t started staying stucked at the first LG screen.
EDIT: I had no CG till now.

OK i fixed the links although you already found the KDZ files.
Ok try this
remove your usb cable
remove your battery
insert battery again
press and hold volume down button
press power button
(you dont have to press 3d button thats for CWM Recovery)
after 8-10 seconds it will show you LG logo
release the power button and then the volume button
It will take you to the recovery menu
select yes
then again wipe EVERYTHING
ALL 4 OPTIONS
you can move with volume up and down and with menu key you run the commands
Good Luck
Got my fingers hurting after so many times i've tried it already.
Still stuck at lg logo.
I'm starting to think it is a hardware problem of some kind.

This guide is for LG Thrill 4g, I found the same topic in the Optimus 3d section, made it setp by step and at the end it stuck always at the logo.
By now I bought another one, but I will unbrick the old one for good... As soon as I try again I will post more news.

Doh, sorry for the noob act hehe.
Just flashed it again without the battery. It wen't all the way through 100%, didn't stop at 6% to put the battery on =/ guess what... Didn't work.
I will try it again to see if I hit the 6% stop. Worth a try.
I'm pretty sure I'm not skipping any step. I do uninstall every single time the LG drivers. Its pretty annoying.
Trying on a diferent computer right now.
Hey, guys!
First post from me in this forum, although I have been searching for some things for some times.
So, the problem is that I had Cyanogenmod 7.2 on my LG P500 for couple months. And ROM was working ok, but there was some problems and I thought I should get back to stock ROM, because actually it was working better and smoother. So, I searched for stock roms for my phone, found one and started to flash. Everything flashed well, phone booted up and then wave of errors started to come. So I thought that it ain't gonna be usable and tried to install a stock rom through official LG Updater, which obviously wasn't a good thing to do. everything, downloaded, installed, phone booted up and I was waiting with hope that it will boot up (android loading screen at least was showing), but it didn't happen. After that I managed to power phone off with getting battery out and then I tried to fix everything with one tutorial I saw in this forum with kdz updater. but at the begging it couldn't connect with my phone and after that screen showd Emergency Mode. nothing I could do, again took out battery to power it off and now phones doesn't show any signs of life.
What does it mean (maybe my phones is same as brick) and what should I do?
I would appreciate your help.

Plug in the wall charger for about an hour, and then try the buttons - press power button+ volume up button + back button together
keep pressed all three for long duration (maybe 8-10 secs you see yellow screen with written Emergency Mode). Then you are in Emergency Mode.
If no screen yet, then bricked - only LG repair center option.
Hello XDA.
See, here is the problem ...
My friend has a LG Optimus One P500, he asked me to root it. I succesfully rooted his phone.
The other day, he send me a message that he bricked his LG Optimus One P500, he said that he installed a font with ROM Toolbox.
I went to his place, the phone was totally bricked, we looked all across the internet, every solution we found ... Did just not work.
So I came here, the place of all android knowledge lives to ask this, How can I unbrick this blazing phone.

Have you tried booting into recovery ( Power + Volume Up + Home ) and then wiping cache and dalvik cache?
Hope you have installed a custom recovery. If you have only rooted, maybe a factory reset would help.

With stock recovery you should be able to perform a factory reset by pressing and holding the Power button and both volume buttons for 10 seconds. If the USB drivers were previously installed, you might be able to boot the device in to fastboot mode and then use Android Flash Recovery to install a custom recovery.
