I bought a tablet Leotec letab911 (rk3188,9.7,2gb ram,16gb,2048x1536,mali400....). The tablet slips from my hands, and broke touch:crying:.
When I called the company to buy a replacement, the price was outrageous. so I bought a touch by aliexpress and I put myself.
And here is the problem.
the touch works, but it seems that the resolution of that I bought is higher than the original

I unpacked ROM with utilities imgRePackerRK, RK factory tools and others
but there is no ft5x0x.ko module, any script.bin to conver in .fex
I tried to find /dev/block/nanda like allwiner tablets, but without result becouse i found dev/block/mtd
It's posible? edit the configuration of touch elsewhere.
or inject the kernel Another resolution, if it's there.
Any help will be well pleased

Hi!
I saw few people talking about digitizer replacement on old devices. This discussion about newer devices like Touch Pro2. I have a device which has working LCD but problem seems to be with its touch senstivity. Its not supporting touch on the screen, which as per the original user is a problem of digitizer. He fell the device & got this problem.
May I know if it is a problem of digitizer since everything works completely, all hardware buttons & everything but touch support.
Can you plz help me in this problem, I got the digitizer but dont know how to put it & make the device working.
Any technical help would be highly appreciated.

the old M001 and M002 apad touchscreens are incredibly difficult to locate. I bought a pair of dead Apads from someone on Craigslist and managed to get one of them booting, but the touchscreen is non functioning due to a broken ribbon cable.
I was wondering if an off the shelf 7inch TFT touchscreen could replace the one on the apad, or if it sends/recieves different instructions then the one installed in the apad.
I'm willing to delve into software/driver hacking if it's possible, and also hardware modding to get it to fit.
Just a bump on this topic, if someone has some inkling of an answer I'm all ears. If this topic is in the wrong place, feel free to move it.
Greetings,I got that tablet today. It was previously used by some other guy very rarely for just around a month . He never dropped it and was always in it's leather case when not in use. He described to me that one part of screen in upper part is not working. I checked it and found out that there is a space in in the upper part of the screen,about 2 cm in height stretching to both ends,is not responding but then above it touch works fine again. On tablet is stock Android 4.1.1. What is causing the issue?
I tested that non working area in a paint app.I found out it is in a shape of perfect rectangle,something like this http://i.stack.imgur.com/2QrJS.png(on the image are two rectangles,for me only one of those areas are not working)

I have no idea where this should be posted. Sorry if this is not it.
I have an Asus Zenpad S 8.0 z580ca that needs the touchscreen replaced. Unfortunately it is bonded to the LCD with some type of glue and I cannot separate the two. I have searched, but cannot seem to find any replacements. I did find the touchscreen itself for sale, but without the LCD it is of no use.
I also have the z580c model of this pad. Even though the specs for the LCD are the same, they can't be swapped because the touchscreen is not the same. I really wish they had just used the touch from the z580c on both. It seems to be a lot more durable than the Gorilla Glass.
If there is anyone out there that has information as to where I could find the LCD assembly I would be grateful.

I have this Cube tablet talk 9x touch screen replaced for the second time, but this time round , it came with a black digitizer, i thought every thing was fine and dandy, after a while about half an hour later, the touch screen did not work smoothly , scrolling /swiping was not smooth, could not zoom in and out the way it should be. The seller from Aliexpress said it will work fine when update the rom, and i ask for any rom that is available , no reply till now. Anyone who can help me, see questions below, i need to confirm before making a complain to Aliexpress on this seller, do want to be accusing the person for the wrong reason:-
1. Is it screen or ROM issue?
2. Any difference between a white and a black screen?
3. If it is ROM issue, can anyone who can guide me to the proper site to get it.
4. If it is black screen meant for 32GB, does it mean it can only be use on the 32GB unit.
need some help here, at least i need know whether it is screen or rom issue?Previous replaced screen was white one with no problems, the second one given me the problems
