Is it just me or has any one else noticed the dent in the top right corner? There is one in the top left corner but less noticeable.
Post a picture please.

Sorry, but it's just you.
No dents at all, smooth clean lines no matter what angle I look at it.
Yeah no issues here with what appears to be dents. Sure you didn't drop ?

This is the top right corner. It might just be my OCD but this is how it came never dropped or anything.

I assume you are talking about the gap between the metal rail and the upper bezel - That's definitely not there on my phone.

I still don't see an indentation... But yeah, the gap is definitely not normal. I'd compare to floor model at the store. looks like maybe it was dropped or defect in materials?
I have that gap In the rail as well
Are you talking about the flat part on the metal rail, on some end, right near the corner, I have it, but I think it's more of a machine mode press.
About the gap, I have that but it's on the back, one side has no gap, whiles the other with a noticeable gap, I also think its the mode press, I have notice this during my purchased and I also check a few other, and most of them have it.
update: looking carefully, it's probably the battery cover on one side is slight short.
Gap
No gap
Dint
No dint
Manufacturing inconsistency is what you have OP. It happens, you could try calling your carrier and see if they will exchange. But it doesn't hamper the phone.
That's a shame. The exterior of my phone is put together with precision.
Lol both of mine were good
I too have that gap, upper right hand corner
yea it happends sometimes, I think u can exchange for a new one (if they have a perfect one)

I have no idea how to take it off lol. Scared to apply too much pressure to break the phone.
If you pull up the seidio site, there is a tutorial on how to remove the case .

Lol its a little tricky.. you squeeze the top sides together near the bottom half, and push down while you pull on the bottom half...

thanks for the help. 1 more question... when the case is on, at the edge where the 2 components connect, is the top portion raised a tiny bit over the bottom portion on the right middle side? or is it supposed to be completely smooth (neither pieces are raised, just straight smooth)

Hi everyone,
I just got a white skyrocket and notice there are 2 lines kind of look like fracture at the top corner of each side on the back, I am not too sure if it is design or fracture because they are in the same position of each side and feel smooth. Can you guys check your to see if you have them.

Nope, not on mine. (Mine's black though). Wonder if it's only the whites....or if you got a defective unit.
I have them on my white one also.

They are also on my white. I thought it was a fracture as well. Looking at the back of it, the one on the top right is more pronounced. I had multiple people look at it, and the consensus is that they are supposed to be there, most likely as a result of the manufacturing process. They are just much more visible in white than black. If you look very closely you can see it curve off towards then end, and not go all the way to the back removable cover.

I have them too. How in the world did you see them haha

Cant unsee!
I agreed it is supposed to be there because they have exact angles and curve at the end the same way. If you look at it closely, they are under the coating not crack thru.
My black has them. After a thorough inspection I've come to the conclusion that they're part of the manufacturing process and NOT cracks.
I have them too on my white Skyrocket. Seems normal after seeing this post.
I got my Xperia Z3 (T-Mobile variant) on 10/22, but had to send it back the next day due to the bottom right corner of the back glass coming unglued and popping up about 1mm. Has anyone else had any issues with this? Does it affect the water tightness of the phone? My new one will be here today and I'm hoping it was just a rare defect.

Oops, guess I need to read what I actually type better. Meant about 1mm (above the inlay of the glass). Unfortunately I don't have pictures, and I've already sent it back.
I also have this, but on the bottom left corner of the back. It's really really tiny tho.
I just got my phone last week and did not use it a lot. It was mostly in my pocket (always alone, no keys or anything) or standing on my desk. Today, I noticed there are some scratches on the back panel on the top and bottom! Is that normal ?? I thought the ceramic panel was supposed to be super scratch resistant. I'll post pictures when I have time.
Also, looking at the scratches carefully, I also noticed that the back panel is not flush with the body, it looks like the adhesive is missing in the top corner and it moves if I push it down.. really weird I think i'm gonna return it.
Definitely return it. This is not normal. Mine is very solid and the back panel does not move when you press on the corner. You've gotten a defective unit.

I took some photos, sorry for the quality, it's hard to focus on a mirror finish You can see the mini scratches (almost like fibers) and the gap between the metal body and the back panel.

First run had some pretty bad quality issues from what people have said on here.
I thought you were just whining, but that does look odd. I'd return it

I have scratches on mine just like that. I pre-ordered as soon as it was available. Might warranty exchange it.
return it, mine has no gap or play when applying pressure.

Agreed. That gap alone is worrying enough to warrant a return in my opinion. Will probably only continue to get worse.
I started looking at my phone and it looks like the left side of screen has more black bezel than the right. I will post pics later today. Really upset if this is true. With the 6T I had an issue and the RMA experience is horrible. Post pics of your side bezel so I can compare. Post with case on and off.
I was looking at mine, sorry i cant post a pic. what i think you might be noticing is that the factory installed screen protector is just the tinniest bit to the right. at least, thats what i notice on mine. you cant see it unless you really examine it closely, but the bezels are definitely the same on both sides.

It's seems to be really noticable with white background. Or maybe it's the stock case that cut uneven. Put on your stock case and see if one side of the phone shows more bezel. I am using the clear stock case and that might be the issue.
you might be right. best test i could think of was hiding the navbar, then going into an app where theres a text input box on the bottom. this way, you can compare the curve along the box

This is the best pic I can take off the screen not aligned. Not sure if you can tell but with the bright sunlight you can see where it's misaligned. Left side is off by a bit.
I see what you're talking about, but I do think it's the stock case as well (i'm still using the stock case) and not the phone, because when I take the case off and look at the actual bezel of the phone, it's the same
Looking at it with the sun directly shining on the screen. You can see the AMOLED is slightly shifted to the right.

It was. That's why I sent it back.
If you forward the the 6:10 mark you can see the AMOLED screen is not glued to glass. This issue I have can become very common.
