Different Colors - Try to find a block with a different color!
Do you think it is easy? Let's try!
In this game you should find the blocks that differ in color from the rest.
With each level it will be harder and harder. Try to test yourself!
On the 63 blocks of the same color, and the only one that is different from all the others in color.
What could be easier than to find it?
Especially because you always have 3 lives in the reserve, in case you go wrong.
With each level to find the next block will be harder and harder, because the difference between the colors will be reduced.
To set a record, you have a whole 60 seconds.
You can use all available means:
- To increase the brightness of the screen;
- Look at it from different angles;
- Use the help of friends;
- and so on...
But if you can break the record? ...
To make it more interesting, we added to the game the opportunity to compete with other players, you can see at what point in the overall statistics is your record.
Who knows, maybe you'll be the first?
Any ideas for improvement? You can always share them write to us or leave your own review.
Good luck!

But the idea is interesting .
And there is something to work with , that would be better.

The problem I found with the game is that, having so many versions of this game, why should I download this one?
I'm not going to answer that question for you, but could be a mechanic, aesthetics, social factors...
Don't get me wrong, I like the idea, but if you don't stand out in the crowd I would rather download another one with more pleasing design or unique features.
If you still think you can answer my question, reply and I would be glad to try it in detail. Good luck!

We have tried and will be tried improve the idea, we already added stats, hints, bonuses and two mode of game, this week will be added third. We are working with our users, they are helping us to improve the app and not to get lost in the crowd.
Any suggestions are welcome!

Ok, then a nice improvement would be to redesign the app (mainly the colors). Colorful menus are not always the best option to go, so try to stick with a palette of colors (usually 2-3 colors and their variations). More than that looks messy and unprofessional. Try to choose a light color and a dark one to make contrast, and be sure they look good when used together.
Also the colors chosen for the game seem to be randomly generated, and that is very unpleasing in the way that most of them are greyish. If you could make a list of 20-30 RGB values that look GOOD considering the background and UI, and use them to vary them (+-5) and get only colors that look well.
Make the squares less rectangular and more square, and center the grid in the middle of the screen. The ghost doesn't need that much space.
Finally, the last row was cut in my device (nexus 5), so it was harder to spot the different color on that row. Does it also happen in other cases as well?

A lot of thank you for this such detailed advices!
We will take into account all your tips on colors in the redesign of the app.
As you could see, we tried to use 3 main colors in the app: ~blue, ~yellow and ~green. Today, I think, it wasn't good idea, I mean the set of colors. We should and will review them.
Also we're going to check app on different screens. If will be needed, we change the size of blocks and release new version with fixes as soon as possible.
Thank you again! Always glad to see useful advices.

is a fun game and addictive :good:

DESCRIPTION
The game of life is actually a cellular automaton devised by the mathematician John Horton Conway in 1970.
It's sort of a virtual world where many cells are living.
They reproduce and die under certain conditions.
This game does not need the player itself (kind of zero-player game), but we can make it more interactive by adding special patterns that will evolve in specific ways, or by changing the rules of the world, for instance.
The main features of my implementation are:
¤ Play / Pause / Reset / Random Buttons
¤ Changing the speed
¤ Changing the size of the world
¤ The world is shaped like a torus
¤ Changing the color:
- United
- Random
- Gradient
¤ Changing the shape of cells (11 available)
¤ Become master of the world by changing the rules:
- 12 predefined rules
- Create your own rules
¤ Library patterns (over 50):
- Oscillators
- Ships
- Guns
- Space fillers
- Other
¤ Possibility of sending patterns by email
¤ Create life or destroy it, simply by touching the screen!

- Available in French and English
- Compatible with all screens
- Compatible with all android versions

Awesome idea. Just read about this game of life in a Stephen Hawkings book.
Hahaha, I just had an idea:
What about a live wallpaper? You might have to make it look nicer and less dominant, but it would be fun and kinda nerdy, if you always had those "organisms" reproducing in the background

You're not the first to tell me that.
I will start creating a live Wallpaper.
But what do you mean about "make it look nicer and less dominant" ?
I love Game Of Life.I even made a (newbie) javascript version of it... Thx for the great app! The Live Wallpaper idea is actually pretty nice. If you do it, I'll surely give it a try.
Well, right now, I would not want it as my wallpaper. It looks nice as an app, but a wallpaper should be more "beautiful" and/or simple. After all, it is supposed to be the background.
Imagine your app design with other widgets and icons over it, the whole screen would look quite overloaded. Do you get what I mean? (english ain't my native language )
But you could keep the mechanism of the app for customizing the colours and so on.
I don't even know if I would actually use it. Depends on how it will look. So, if you got other stuff to do, do that first. The wallpaper is not really a high priority for me. I just like the app and the idea itself.
Over all the game play is not much attractive but still its fine. 6/10

I do not quite understand... Customization of the background and the cells color is already available on the app'...
thanks a lot for this app'.
When would you release the LiveWallpaper ?
I'm so excited
Be patient
I'm developping it.
But it will last at least 2weeks...
Tell me what kind of feature you would like to have on this wallpaper (new features of course) or anything else.
Haha, love!! I had to program a version of this myself in my first year at university and had forgotten all about it! As others have said, would be a pretty good idea as a Live Wallpaper but would obviously need some sort of loop on there incase all the cells died or just became stable blocks... otherwise it could quickly become a rather dull wallpaper
Don't worry.
A shake or a tap will randomize or add living cells

I shall post my comments later on today.
[edit] Sorry I checked the QR code before I'd post it. But here is a link to the free version Magic Point Lite [/edit]
I love this style of game! I'm going to try this out for you ASAP.
Personally I prefer desktop market links. I can click on install on my PC and have it on my phone before I even pick it up!
Edit: I just beat all 10 levels. Needs moar challenge (or a timer to see who can finish them fastest!)
As far as presentation goes I'm giving you a 9/10. Fantastic job on the minimalist design. Gameplay could be made more interesting if you only flashed the images on screen for a second each. That would be a memory challenge as well. Still I'd give you a 8/10 in that category. Content is a little limited, I don't know if it's expended in the full version. Thanks for sharing!
Comments
I've reviewed the free version.
I agree with k4p741nkrunch.
The levels are a bit too easy. They don't become much harder during the first 10 levels.
A timer or something to compete with others would be a addition to the game.
Please enable the wakelock, so the phone doens't falls back to the lockscreen when you're not paying attention to the game.
I like the design, maybe it would be nice if the user could select the preferred color.
The game play is also good, very simple an smooth.

Yes, it doesn't work that well on QVGA(Wildfire) devices. I can press one of them, and it'll come with a toast. But if it's correct, I can't press the Next Level button(at least, i guess it tries to tell me "Next Level")
That's what I can see on my wildfire, I can't press the text, and those dots need to be a little bit higher(I discovered that is for next/previous level).
Also I'd like auto-advance to the next level when it's correct.
fifarunnerr, thanks for feedback. I will fix it soon.

you're very clever I will think about new hardest levels
We have released new version 1.1.0.
What's new:
- Wakelock has added
- Russian UI has added
- Some bugs on QVGA-devices were fixed
I got the paid version. 10 levels is too short (I imagine it'll expand). It took me about 2 minutes to finish (I got 8 of them right on the first try).
It would be awesome if in later levels it also included abstract reasoning questions beyond those dots. Spatial reasoning questions would also be great.
I Agree with Tricky-Design, custom color background would be awesome, specially if there is true black for those of us with OLED screens (SGS).
Looking forward for further updates
PS I also expected for the game to automatically forward me to the next level after I successfully complete a puzzle. It's a bit weird to have to tap the arrow.
Thanks for your suggestions We will add more levels in next version.

I could only get the Lite version, but I enjoyed it. I would also love to see harder levels as the game progresses, and I too was expecting it to advance me to the next level already, but it's a very good start to a cool game. My only suggestion would be to have a scoring system of some sort, maybe based on the amount of tries(and/or time) it takes to solve the puzzle.
I did not encounter any bugs or glitches with this game, if it helps. Played on a rooted Droid Eris running Gingerbread 2.3.4 (GSB3.5).
prsguitaruser, thanks I already think about new levels. Automatic next level will be in next version, thanks for this suggestion.
I have released new version 1.2.0:
- New 10 levels
- Auto-run of next level after a completion of previous level

I failed in my Math exam and my friend passed.. thinking Math can't beat him. I made this game to prove him WRONG.
SUMX or SUM TEN is a simple number game where u have to add ten random numbers that appear one after another with a specific time delay between two numbers, then enter the answer and move to the next stage where the time delay decreses. Isn't that simple?? It actually isn't simple( this did beat my friend atleast).

"A simplest Game to Controlling & Empowering our senses"
Well my first thought was " Its the simplest TOUGH game, I ever played "
SumX targets your two important senses i.e EYES and EARS
Numbers appears on screen on a fast regular interval and we need to add them up - seems so simple but not really. Speedy calculation requirements hits our intellect. Besides the vocal output will try to misguide your Viewing sense !!!
Well d developer dont allowed us to take a breathe before we complete a level. Hence I view a powerful challenge in SumX
Must try this game.
I would like to rate it 4.5 stars out of 5.
And a AA+ for developers thinking !!!
Suggestions:
1. Time limit to encode my answer was not the really tough task which tighten up with every level, I feel. I meant I i could add up all digits I must have encoded right answer in almost same speed. Hence time to encode my answer should not be the parameter of Tightening of Higher Levels.
2. What really matters here was time duration between each number flips on screen and That can be the variety as we go up in levels.
3. Eyes can be further challenged with a sequences of various transitional effects to show up the Numbers on screen. This may be implemented to make the SumX more challenging.

thank you very much
I really liked it, it's very simple yet challenging. Maybe you can improve it a little by changing the color palette (blue dialog boxes, blue buttons and overall blue backgrounds together doesn't look very good) and giving a little more margin and/or center the text in the dialog boxes (it is too close to the left margin imho).
Didn't reach too far on the game but haven't found any bugs whatsoever. I'd rate it 4.5/5 too, good work!! :good:

Thanks glad you like it. Practise can really help get better high scores, one of the core aims was that to get good at the game you would have to play a little bit each day thus keeping your brain active, after a few days of practise it is really noticeable of a score improvement.
UPDATE V 1 . 1
New mode Ultra Hard, Buttons are no longer static in this new mode making even more of a challenge with button randomly swapping position.!
Update also contains layout improvements.
Please share and give feedback about colour guess
A very simple game, however, it does get complicated when the colour of the word and that of the block is different. Good work none the less!
If you could increase the time to select each block, it would really help the player.

Thank you for the kind words, yes it can get a bit complex but the more you play you can really notice the improvement of high scores. As for the timing I can give them a tweak, I did run a closed beta test with people of varied ages and felt I had worked out the correct amount of time for difficulties. I will continue to monitor this and most likely give more time especially in the new mode.
V1.1.1 now out fixing bugs in ultra hard mode and credits page
V1.2 now out adding sound and sound options. Please share and give feedback

This is a fun game: the concept is really cool, and it can get pretty addictive. An interesting game mode might be to give the player more time at the beginning to pick the right color, and then speed up as the game continues. My only (pretty major) criticism is that it looks like there wasn't very much effort put into making the game look nice. For example, the main menu screen is poorly laid out: there's a lot of empty space, and I think the game could benefit from a nicer looking font. Overall, I think this is a great game, and if the visual presentation of the game matched the quality of the gameplay, it would be an outstanding game.

Thanks for the feedback, yes I am no graphic designer but I assure you a lot of effort went to the design, I was aiming for a simplistic look to the app but I look at trying to produce a higher quality. I have more modes planned for colour guess so a layout overhaul will be due to fit the extra modes in. I like the idea of the game mode, it's not the first time somebody has suggested it to me so i'll be sure to get a mode along those lines released with the other two new modes I have planned.
I really appreciate the kind words and the constructive feedback. Im still fairly new to android but have a passion to keep making content.

Update
*Improved performance
Update v2
*Updated User Interface
It's a cool concept, but the wrong platform imo. You thumb ends up covering most of the screen, so you need to use a stylus (which is what I did.) Somewhat fun though, but some colors have an unfair advantage over others, maybe that's the point. Getting red is nice for me because it's every easy to spot in my peripheral vision.
Right now #2 on the leaderboards, my goal is to be #1.
Edit: Just tried with my fingers, I think it might just be mental for being better with a stylus.
Not sure how spawning works, but on my last either there were none of the right colors to tap, or maybe I missed one or two there, it might be a good idea to keep the last arrangement that occurred before losing, so users can understand what got wrong.
Edit 2: Red and Yellow is practically cheating, almost twice the previous high score. The only reason I lost was because I missed the ring. You might want to think about making the hitboxes square instead of circular as well.
the video trailer should include the gameplay, maybe you can add hand animation to show us how amazing the gameplay is.. hehehe
Thank you hajalie for your review, I will sure look forward to cover these things in my next update of the game

Yeah I am trying to create a new video, by which user can easily understand the game play. Well the hand advice is not bad either

thats a really nice concept game
Really well made :good:
Cool game, got 4th in the leaderboards already
Its a bit frustrating when a circle changes color just before you tap it, sometimes I feel like its to quick for me to notice and respond, but could be me. Maybe have a small animation for a color that's about to change (if if does not rely on user input) so you can prepare your path.
The sound toggle does not need a separate menu, could just be a little toggle in the main menu, unless you are planning on adding more options.
Maybe "fast fun addicting game is unnecessary in the main menu, might look a bit cleaner, and you could scale up the Colors logo if it was removed.
Seconded on adding gameplay in the video, its clear that the game is simple and beautiful, but you can't tell what the gameplay is like.
Hey,
Thank you for your awesome suggestions.
I will look into the color changing thing. For the sound menu, I previously was planning to add a volume setter but now I think its unnecessary, So I am planning to remove the settings page. "fast fun addicting game" is like a tagline so I think it should be there, but I will look for ways to make it more cleaner. Video is under process, will update it soon.
Waiting, when you will break the top record

Hello Ton,
Acted on your advice, there is no separate menu for sound setting now. Also, performance is a bit improved.
Check it out and let me know if sounds menu looks good now.
Cheers
