no this is not TOT... these are just System images that have to be flashed through download mode with the process described here credits for the guide and root to @randrew87 @Sj12345 and @Google~Android
If you dont understand do some research, this is only for returning to stock in case you want to OTA update or have some kind of problem with your current system.
Thanks for replying. I am currently bootlooping. I was screwing around in the build.prop and kept getting UI crashes. So it was just in a constant loop. Somehow I got the bright idea to wipe it in recovery and immediately facepalmed myself when I realized I just turned off USB debugging. So I was searching everyday for a .tot obviously to no avail and jumped the gun and got excited when I saw this. I am not familiar with the process of returning to stock with the .IMG file but I am super thankful that you linked a guide. I'm heading over to read it now!
I can install zv8 in zv7…? Problems?

Can anyone post an image for v5? I simply can't get the damn tot method to work and I need to restore the device to as close to stock as I can. Any help would be appreciated.

The TOT method failed for me a few times, moved my USB to the main board of my PC instead of the front ports and worked flawlessly. Hope it will work for you as well.
Dont use the ms8994.dll file but instead the older g3 generic dll. Dont remember the number exactly. I had to do this to restore my flex to stock when I wanted to upgrade from zv5 and it was rooted.
Gonna give both a shot, thanks mates!

I did had a chance to flash ZV6rooted on ZV9unrooted. No brick. But phone operates improperly in this case.
I just mean, it is not 100% sure you will brick the phone.
Maybe it is also depends how to flash?

Seems that if you use the system images only certain things get broken in the process like signal and wifi.
But if you decide to TOT back to stock you get a HaRd Brick QH_USB BULK or QUALCOMM 9008.
And there is no way to get out of that. YET.

Yes this is 100% stock. I will have debloated international ROM up in a couple of hours for D800.
I rooted using twrp openrecovery-twrp-2.8.1.1-trltetmo.img.tar via Odin 3.07, and installing UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.16.zip from the SD .
Now, when will there be ROMs?
Did you root the non-dev or dev version?
---------- Post added at 04:26 PM ---------- Previous post was at 03:47 PM ----------
Correct me if I'm wrong, but trltetmo is for T-Mobile, isn't it?
FYI - this method does not work on retail phones . . . at least for me.
We probably won't see root until our boot loader is unlocked by Verizon.
Mine is dev and was a quick easy root exactly as stated.

Thank you! It was what I dreaded, but I'll keep hope alive! lol UGH.
Verizon has spent a ton of money locking down their bootloaders, there has been a bounty for the galaxy s4 bootloader for quite some time now (think we are in the third year or more) even if root comes to the retail version (hard to see that since the only root methods currently involve flashing something with odin) it is even less likely any of them will see custom roms. that is unless someone picks up the safestrap project as i last heard it was dropped. Dev editions are going to be the new norm for anyone on verizon, gonna be the only way to get custom anythings.
that said has anyone been able to extract their stock recovery or make a backup of the stock image from their dev edition? at this point i'd be like forever your BFF if you could get me back to stock since KIES wont work and samsung support doesnt even know the Developer Edition is on sale yet...... let along can they get me a stock recovery image lol....
also i just inboxed you @ffr3245 i am not sure if ti will work, but at this point i'd try just about anything.
I can not get these to upload!!! Anyways, I found docugod's post where he had uploaded his recovery image which is stock without root from Note Edge Developer Ed. Thanks go to him. With that being said, you should not have any problems using that recovery image. But as always do so at your own risk. And for anyone else reading.......This is for the Note Edge DEVELOPER EDITION, it is NOT for the retail Verizon one.

You are only able to check once a day, to actually ping the servers. You can reset your day and time ahead, to fool the server check. Someone did that a couple times, and finally got the OTA update.
Everyone will eventually get the update. If you want it faster, you'll have to change your time and date ahead over 24 hours each time you check.

[Q] Help me Unbrick LG G2 D800 back
Hi Experts,
I am a Newbie, Seems bricked my device following the guidances as adviced on the above comments section,
1) I rooted the device, Installed SuperSu, Busybox
2) Installed TWRP recovery
2) Downloaded FOTA.ZIP (AT & T Lollipop for D800)
3) Tried Installing At & T Lollipop through ADB sideload but it failed.
I think i bricked the device, It does not get the boot it just shows the LG logo couple of secondds and then it just directly enters TWRP recovery.
Even USB detection also fails, it shows up other device -- LG D800.. I think if the Internal Storage gets detected i can place a rom and install using TWRP recovery mode.
Anyone please help me, Is there anyway i can unbrick my device back and working...

If upgrading from KitKat flashed through LG Flash Tool, then one would need the Lollipop modem. Thus, that is why these are necessary. If coming from Lollipop to AOSP, then these aren't necessary.
I flashed 21L modem some time ago so these prolly arent needed by me @jlgarr86

If you have a 20p ROM, I would not flash this. Just keep the modem you have.
Would flashing on 20f rooted be harmful? I see no reason to upgrade from 20f until marshmallow. However, I realized (and still do) a decrease in data reliability/speed from 10d --> 20f and I'm curious as to whether newer modem would remedy this and/or VoLTE would be gained on 20f.

yeah, there are several of wifi hotspot apps out there that work on 6.0. Might want to poke around in the themes and apps section. Sometimes people get a little anxious about talking about hotspot apps because of the debate over it circumventing carriers money making abilities and that violates the TOS of XDA, but the last thing i saw the mods on here were ok with talking about it
I did, from PK1, and PL2 to OK4. So it is posible. Try redownloading/Odining OK4. Also there is a PK1 ROM with hotspot modded.

here is the list of sprint basebands just for reference in case youre interested
https://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/database/SM-G900P/SPR/
and youre in the 6.0.1 family and if you got it that way, youre likely not going to be able to downgrade (if thats what youre wanting to do), but you can root by flashing the PCA baseband then follow the 6.0.1 root instructions (im not sure, but i think theyre still just installing the appropriate TWRP, boot to twrp and flash supersu while in twrp)
