[Completed] irritating concurring problem with Playstore. - XDA Assist

I've just got my phone out of a softbrick and thankfully it worked but I get this Google Playstore error and I can't seem to find the cure.
When I try to download or update an app it gives me the following error:
Update for "app" could not be downloaded due to an error/"app" could not be downloaded due to an error.
(Error while retrieving information from server.[RPC:S-7:AEC-7 SEFO-YHAL-DSOP2]).
Any help would be dearly appreciated.
Thanks!

Problems gone thankfully but still don't know what caused it or how it got fixed.

Parsing error when attempting to root with razorclaw

Please help me, I just purchased my Transformer last night and went to root it with razorclaw. It had already been removed from the market so i downloaded the APK but got a parsing error when I attempted to install. I then downloaded it on my computer and put it on a microsd card. Still getting a parsing error. I don't know what to do.
That message is usually cause by app that's not compatible or a bad download.
Since we know it work for the TF it's probably a bad download.
Try a different browser or download manager. Have you tried downloading directly on the TF?
Yes but I also tried downloading it on my computer and transferring it over.
Have you tried installing any other apk? Do you get the same error or they install OK?
Ok so i downloaded a different APK and got the same error. I have allow unknown sources checked. So what is it then?
You can try a few things
-try an "app installer" (if market app install)
-If you have ADB, try installing via ADB
Code:
adb install <path_to_apk>
-You can also try to get a logcat while installing an apk to see what's wrong
-You might just have to do a factory reset as a last resort.
i had to let mine update then this error went away and rooting went silky smooth
Have you got the latest os version?
I downloaded it with opera mobile and it worked for me.

You need to be fully updated with 3.2.1 then it should work.

I can confirm that, I also had that problem with my wife's TF before I realized that I did not have the latest OTA update. After applying the OTA, it installed without problems. The tool is probably compiled with minimum API level 13 (HC 3.2), so trying to install on earlier versions will trigger that error (although I'd expect a message with better explanation of the error).

Network error in Svoice

Samsung have recently leaked thier most exciting app and it is hacked by
people, which disable to verification of phone name.
However,I installed Svoice signed.apk on my phone, which is edited,I still getting the error about "network error, please try it again later".
I attempted to changed ro.produce.device/model to GT-I9300 in build.prop.But the problem doesn't get solved and keep poping out the same messedge about network error.
I installed full port of S voice but it came with the same problem.
Any idea??
Go to the thread for it and you will now see that it is a zip file whih can be flashed from recovery. It works like a charm for me now but nowhere near as good as siri.

I found a thread on XDA a tried everything were mentioned there but nothing works .

Got the same issue at the moment with an app (Scrum Poker).
I tried clearing stuff (google play and google play services - didn't touch the play framework data yet) but to no avail. The app is constantly nagging me about updates and I will probably end up uninstalling it.

I hope you will have the same luck I have. I had to wait just one day and everyhing seems to be good now.
It seems that's a a random issue. I was updating my apps when I only had this error with CM Browser.
This is happening to me too, I thought that it's because I rooted with towelroot.
I had to download the apk using apk downloader chrome extension and sideload it.
I could not update using play store. I uninstalled it tried to install it fresh but I still got the error. After I sideloaded it, I uninstalled it and tried to install it directly from Google play and it worked!
Edit: the apps that I could not update were gtasks and badland.

Did the same, and now I don't get the nag about the update. Guess there was something odd, since I had to "force" to download the latest, so maybe the error is actually on google's side and I have been resetting and reconfiguring stuff like a mad man for nothing
Exactly.I cleared data for Google play and Google play services, uninstalled updates for Google play, I even cleared data for Google framework but nothing helped. It could be a Google issue.

More tests:
I can install a new app or uninstall an app and then reinstall it without a problem.
It seems that only apps that have updates generate this error.
*EDIT* There's a new update for rayman fiesta run and the update worked so the problem could be fixed already
*EDIT2* I uninstalled Badland and it still gives the error when I try to install it fresh.

I'm assuming this is perhaps an issue on Google's end somehow. I've never had this error, as I've always been stock/rooted. However, I am now getting this error when trying to update the ESPN Sportscenter app. I figure I'll just wait to see if it resolves itself.

+1
Yesterday I was finally able to install CM Browser. I didn't do anything to fix it.
In my case force downloading the latest version from play store (using the chrome extension on my desktop) did the trick. It seems that the version that google was serving me by default was 2.3 though it was notifying me that it had an update ready.
Guess it's some sort of caching issue, but for me it was annoying (was so close to reset the phone).

Just an update from my post above. I was getting the error all day yesterday trying to update the Sportscenter app. This morning, it updated fine. I didn't do anything at all. I guess a little patience does go a long way.

License checks fail after lollipop update

Hi,
This afternoon, I flashed the new factory Lollipop image for my Nexus 5 and everything seems great. I was on the most recent Dev Preview before this, in case that helps, but now after flashing the new image, all of my paid apps from the Play Store have failed the license check and refuse to work properly. I have tried everything I have found short of a factory reset to fix this and I can't seem to get them to work...can anyone help me with this? I believe I had this issue once before and it just fixed itself but I just can't remember...thanks!

Data set load error

Hi all,
I have been experiencing an error in certain apps that I don't know how to fix.
The error I get says:
Data set load error
I have had this error in GReader, Google+ and a few more apps. I have cleared the Data and the error still remains. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the apps but the error still remains.
I hope somebody knows how to fix this error.
Thank you for your time.
