[Completed] About DefaultSwapMemory became zero - XDA Assist

I have a galaxy core 2. I was trying to check if RoehsoftRamExpander is compatible with the device and so was using Roehsoft SwapCheck app. I couldn't understand if it was testing and I tried with the options there. I clicked on 'SWAP OFF! ALL' and the VMEM bar reading started showing 0/0.
I'm sure that before this it was showing around 100MB over there. I think it was the DefaultSwapMemory of device, right ?
How can I regain that now ??

Hello, and thank you for using XDA Assist!
There are probably ways in figuring out the proper value. If one knew which partition the swap uses/used, one could determine it's size with a disk tool in read-only mode.
At any rate, since I don't know the value, my hope is to find other users of the same device can help you determine it. Please create an account, so you can post in other forums.
A couple of your fellow users can be found here in this thread:

Also, this tag is where your device resources can be found:

Hope this helps, and good luck!

handset is micromaxx and its has Android 2.3.5
Still need the exact model. There are many micro max devices. Some have a section on XDA and some don't. Knowing the model is very important, as doing things that aren't designed for your exact model can cause serious issues.

[Completed] China GT-N9000 Note 3- Bricked After Hard Reset

Hello!
I have a Galaxy Note 3 phone that no longer boots after I tried a hard reset. I maybe stupidly cleared that cache and it froze during the process making me remove that battery. Now it just flashes and goes dead when connected to power or when i try switching on.
The challenge is that I don't know the chip type though its MTK. I also am not sure if its Korean or Chinese clone going by the "fake" label.
I also see this "a3_mb_v1.0." on it and dont know if it has to do with the chip. I have tried flashing with the following roms mt6582 and mt6572 both keep getting the message that the scatter file does not match the chip.
Can anyone help me with link to a rom that works?:crying:

Hello and thank you for using XDA Assist.
We cannot provide technical support nor can other members reply to your posts here on XDA Assist. One thing is clear, however, what you have is NOT a Samsung Note 3 GT-N9000 if it has an MKT CPU, and no Note 3 ROM will work with it. I suggest that you ask your question with all relevant details in the friendly general Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting forum at http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help. That's a good place to start where some members might recognize your device and be able to advise you. Please be patient and give the experts plenty of time to respond.
Good luck!

Hello, and welcome to XDA!
I would highly advise against that. This device has very little exposure, and no development. Which means if a mistake happens (or if you do everything right and something still goes wrong), you will end up with an expensive paperweight, probably until the end of days.
If you have a MicroSD slot and are rooted, try Link2SD. It got me through some tough times.
If you want to get an idea of the support your device has, take a look here:
> Android Development and Hacking > Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting > [Q] Please help, No.1 S7 "Samsung Galaxy s5 clone
...if you want to revisit the partitioning idea, feel free to post there, but don't do anything until you get a helpful reply from someone who owns the device as well.
Hope this helps, and good luck!

[Completed] Cricket Samsung Galaxy core prime Sm-g360a Build.prop issue

Hello, I made an error when adjusting the devlik heap size, after rebooting phone, it would only come up to the Black screen with Samsung Galaxy core prime, I use this phone for work, and I am in IT, just not so much with Android. I actually bought another phone exactly like it and have been trying to transfer the original build.prop from the new phone into the old one(I have 15 days to return it if I can fix it). I have searched for Rom's and anything that could help, but have been unsuccessful at this time, so I am hoping someone here may be able to point me in the right direction. There is no twrp files available either, just fyi.
Thank you in advance.

[Completed] Asus ZenFone 2 ZE551ML recovery and fast boot doesnt work

Phone: Asus Zenfone 2
Model: ZE551ML
CPU: Quad-core 2.3Ghz
RAM: 4GB
Storage: 32Gb
Root: Used QuickRoot to gain root privileges
Bootloader: Not unlocked, at least not intentionally...
Hello dear XDA members,
I am posting this because I have quite unusual problem with my Recovery Mode.
Like everybody else here I rooted my phone to get rid of the pre-installed cra.. I mean BloatAware. After the root everything was successful and I managed to delete all the apps that I am not going to use and that I don't need. I didn't delete any of the key modules except S-KEY Cleaner if that is of some relevance.
So how all this happened?
I was looking into flashing ROM called BlissPop because Lolipop has a RAM leak and I find it quite annoying. So I started doing the steps...
I think my recovery stopped working after I installed TWRP app from Google Play store and tried to make a recovery.
I prepared all the zip folders on my phone and turned off my phone. I used Power key + Vol UP to get to the menu.
There are few of the lines missing like "Secure_Boot - ?" and "Signing - ?" which doesnt seem to be the case when I looked at other threads.
When I press power button to select Recovery Mode it just reboots and pops up the same menu. No error messages or pictures on the screen.
Dont forget that I didnt NOT unlock bootloader.
So.. Does anybody knows what is the problem and what should I do? Because I want that Blisspop so bad. To add to that I am a full time traveler at the moment and I cant afford to brick my phone as I am 35.000km away from home.
If anybody has the time and energy to explain me step by step process how to do all that + how to flash BlissPop ROM and Gapps I would sincerely appreciate it.
If I missed any relevant detail please ask and Ill try my best to answer as accurately as possible.
Thank you so much for your time.
P.S. I cant post outside link, but if you want the picture Ill send it by phone, mail, or whatever.

Hello again guys!
I think I am on the right track. I did my homework and read a lot of threads about bootloaders and recoveries. I will test it out soon and tell you guys if I managed to fix it and what did it take.
Wish me luck!
