I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab2 (P5100) with stock Samsung Android 4.0.3.
I have tried to install a ROM Samsung 4.2.2 stock via Odin (i tried 1.83 - 3.09 - 3.10.6), and it seems to be all ok.

Sorry to say, i tried to root Samsung GT-I9300 with help of Odin and CF-Autoroot, but got similar Messages as glenf (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2202563) and got stuck - no way to reaktivate handy (stockrom) but could manage to activate downloadmode .

I rmoved battery to get into download mode again and tried to use Odin with a stockrom - the same effect.
I had a stockversion 4.3 MAX-I9300XXELLA-20130104192229 and thougt it would work to root - as in thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1957273&page=63.
Anyone who can help me,Samsung is new to me, i did rooting and custom roms on HTC before, never had problems. I did not find a way out.

hi im having a similar problem with my s3 gt-19300.
its not rooted . suddenly it just went dead
and using samsung kies it failes after downloading the os.

The reason I was rooting mainly was being unable to copy files to my phone... wtf. If you have any other solution for that on hand, I couldn't care less about rooting, so shoot

Sorry to hear you're having problems try using Odin 3.07 instead of 3.04 worked for me.

use the file (recovery)with Odin after it fails at hidden.img and it will fix it for you

I dont get it.
When it fails, what i need to do?
To flash the recovery?
for example it fails at hidden.img, i reset the odin and flash recovery file named my recovery in the link u posted?
I really dont get it...
Actually i flashed the original firmware for mine csc and passed...
So actually u cant flash other firmwares region...

Correct. you Flash The file in the link after it fails under the flashig hidden.img then it restores the Flash with The Italian firmware

use winwar to open firmware file...
hidden.img
rename the file to this

put file back and flash it should fix it
hlo sir can I change the hex code in the firmware to enable the oem as my phone is not opening and I am unable to install custom recovery as frp lock is on and also my usb developer option is not open?

cannot enter recovery (pwr+vol+) and download mode (pwr+vol-), but just stuck in "firmware upgrade encountered an issue, please recovery mode in kies & try again",but the device still connec and sync to odin.
when flashing use odin 3.07 with stock rom from samsung-updates.com / or cwm/twrp/chillpilz recovery for my device the flasher complete and pass..but after auto rebooting just got black screen,and if press power got back to firmware upgrade encontered an issue.

If you have root on your phone, use Flashify.

Well, the phone is not turning on.
While turning on shows this message "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again."
and i cannot boot to recovery mode on my device and cannot flash any thing :/

Well, i kept trying till i just flashed TWRP recovery, then installed your RedRom
and its very good!

Just wondered if anyone can help me with this.
Been trying to flash a stock rom onto samsung galaxy s6 as it was stuck in bootloop and from the research i did this was the way to go.
However, after downloading the rom from sammobile and using odin, it fails close to finishing. I've attached the event log if this will help.
All help much appreciated.
