I rmoved battery to get into download mode again and tried to use Odin with a stockrom - the same effect.
I had a stockversion 4.3 MAX-I9300XXELLA-20130104192229 and thougt it would work to root - as in thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1957273&page=63.
Anyone who can help me,Samsung is new to me, i did rooting and custom roms on HTC before, never had problems. I did not find a way out.

The reason I was rooting mainly was being unable to copy files to my phone... wtf. If you have any other solution for that on hand, I couldn't care less about rooting, so shoot
Thanks in Advance

Sorry to hear you're having problems try using Odin 3.07 instead of 3.04 worked for me.

Odin fails writing to nand

Hi All
I have tried to install several 6.01.1 roms, but odin keep being a pain in the neck.
Odin simply fails when it's trying to write to nand.
I have tried 4 different cables on 2 different PC, both with updated USB drivers.
What is wrong here ?
I have attached odin log:

But it's a custom rom from this forum I'm going to install. There is not mentioned anything about using a pit file.
Custom rom? with odin?
Yup. It seems like it 's need when you go between 5.1.1 to 6.0.1. Have tried to install through TWRP, but the phone never starts up.
Did you try to rescue it via Smart Switch?

It's getting failed because the firmware which you are trying to flash is not compatible with your phone, that's not the issue with your pc or usb cables

Maybe it's important to know that my phone has currently no OS running, well at least TWRP says that.
I tried 3 different Roms, but nothing seems to work.
I also tried Smart Switch but it does not work either.
I tried it on 2 PC's with the original cable, with other cables and in every Port my PC has.
Thank you for everyone who wwants to help!
its stock rom not custom
have you tried with newer version of Odin?
the latest should be 3.12.3
